I enjoy this game but seem to have many rounds that last way too long. I'll be winning nearly every hand but the opponent is stacking shield faster than I can deal damage. Some times it's a near soft-lock.
Yeah it seems very hard to balance around due to the very limited decision space. The encounters get very one-sided--enemies all have decks built for a very specific strategy, and it doesn't take much to break their deck. In the later opponents, it just boils down to whether they kill you with their broken OP deck first or you manage to throw a wrench into it first
your too used to balatro which, despite being a game centered around gambling, is incredibly easy to build a strategy around. this game is more like traditional blackjack in that its completely random

The problem is the inherent hit/stand mechanic seems to hinder that greatly. It's still a fun game, but it doesn't quite hit the same because outcomes are less in your control
