You do NOT lose your progress towards: Weapons, Challenges, and Divisions. All that is reset is your rank. You get a special calling card, helmet, and symbol when you enter prestige in Call of Duty: WW2. Also, you can continue to enter the Overlook.

So pretty much for me no true motivation to prestige. They need to come up with something better. I don’t care if I can walk around and go “Look above me! I got an emblem!” Lol
What happens to your Basic training (perks) that were unlocked by a division prestige? For example (scoped)?

So you don't lose anything at all just temporarily lock weapons, equipment, and basic trainings till you unlock them again.

Yes, you do. However, they may be locked if they have a level requirement.
