One important thing of note, is that soon after beginning to explore the structures near the fort, you're greeted with the invisible sniper constantly aiming to take your head off...and it will continuously. Anything West of the fort is going to be tough to last long enough to see.
It seems there are techniques to disable it, like a mission canceling or something like that, right ?
@@justajad2809 I've been back several times as John and there seems to be a consistent line, that once crossed, the sniper gets to work. I've even thrown a pig over my shoulder. Although it did catch a few shots, the sniper still got me. I'm not aware of any 'in-game' techniques to disable the sniper. I'm sure that there's a mod, hack or something. But adding those can bring their own issues, so I've chosen to run the stock game as is.

@justajad2809 if you don't interact with guards or let them see you the sniper never comes.
@@doasty Ah, good call ! I was also able to safely counter the area where there are guards to reach that other jungly area I forgot the name of. Something like Loco or something like that. Either way, thanks !

@@Medleyboy yes, it work on ps5, i don't know if it work on xbox because i played it on my play. to get back you have to play any story mission and then exit from them with the player menu. after one or more tries the game teleport you back on the main map. I had some troubles btw but i managed to get back

You can get back to the mainland by quitting the game, and restarting. Respawning will bring you right back to the jungle.

Any ideas of how to get back to the mainland? I tried going north as far as I could, but ended up under the map in the ocean and drowned. I respawned back on the rock near the camp in Guarma. I did a couple saves on Guarma, so loading the last save don't work either.

@@LorieKarnes It was driving me crazy, but I figured it out. All I had to do was restart a mission from when I was still on the mainland. I then cancelled it and presto chango, I spawned back to the mainland. Lemoyne, if I'm not mistaken.

I did it twice. Stood exactly where he was and I woke up in the same spot. Wasted all my alcohol
