I was asked to make a simple coffee table that wouldn't break the bank. It had to be contemporary and easy to make.

I don't think the fabric is overkill at all, I think it gives it a more ''expensive'' look and also a more professional look.
Thank you. That's what Im aiming for.
hey are you still going to refebish a tabl? plz before December
Yep, the fabric was a good call. I'm not an expert or anything, but it's just a nice touch.
This is your calling. So talented!
your projects are so simple but the finished product gives a very rich look .thanks again for sharing this video all the best
Thank you.
SIMPLE BUT SO AMAZING, GOOD JOB
Excellent product very useful to traveling
You did a nice job on all those 45 degree cuts.
Thank you.
Nice build. The fabric gives it a neater and cleaner look. Nice choice on the legs.
I really like seeing you wearing a dust mask. There are far too many
people that do not wear a dust mask while working with wood.
Thank you.
Simple and beautiful
Nice build, very clean and minimalist, I'll echo other's comments - I like the fabric too. The white looks great, black (or any solid color) would look good too.
Thank you. Totally agree.
Thank you so much for this video. You’re the only person who has a video on what I need! Im making a 4’x4’x17” table. Im staining it a white oak color. I bought corner brackets instead of making my own. I got it cut at Home Depot and they don’t make angled cuts so I hope it still lines up as good as yours!
Damn man, I couldn't trust myself to precut all that. This came out super clean, great piece.
You pumping up the videos this week, am not complaining, anywhere great work
:) Thank you.
love your work..professional and clean..your videos goes right to the job and you explain everything in an easy to understand way.👍
Thanks Maria.
Nice table and good info regarding corner supports for other builds😊
Thank you. :)
When you first put on the brackets I was like that looks weird how are they going to work, until you attached the sides, then "thats genius!" Thanks for you videos and ideas
Thank you. :)
This is a superb wood working book I`ve ever read, t.co/z6o0f8z2H4 . Both novice and some skilled woodworker can gain a lot of general info using this reading material. I`ve been very amazed how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and salvage spots.?
You deserve more subscribers!
Thank you in do time we will see what happens. :)
Your builds are always finished so nicely :) even though I will never make most the stuff you post I still love you videos :)
that was awesome.
you outdid yourself on this one Glen. that turned out really awesome. I agree adding the fabric on the bottom was the final key touch to the job.
Thanks bud!
Nice build. I like the tip about the scrap wood underneath to support your cut off on the plywood. Why didn't I think of that???
Very nice, sleek yet elegant!
Thank you
I am really sure you can build it yourself mates. I made it 2 weeks ago thanks to wood prix.
I think this was a really nice, and clean build. You topped it off with the fabric on the bottom, and the clean legs which I think really give a top notch look. Great job!
Thank you man. Im pretty happy with this one.
Great build, Glen. Those 45s are usually tough to get right but you handled them like a pro. It turned out great. Well done, man. Troy
wow I'm so impressed! I wish I had the tools and skill to build this. The legs are so my style too.
Holly mother of coffee tables... this is amazing!!! Man, this is a piece of art!
Gorgeous!
that's a great build. I like how you politely say "if measuring isn't your strong point ..." 😊 and I don't think the brackets were overkill. I always picture kids jumping on anything I build so I would build it with them. it can't hurt. way to go!
Thank you. :)
I liked the construction technique with 45 degrees !!
Thank you. Provides a clean look.
Very nice build, video and it doesn't look to bad either, especially with those Chrome Legs. Well Done.
TC, Barry (Eng)
Thanks Barry
For how simple this was, it is really nice! Love it!
This looks very nice!
One of the best start to finish DIY videos, or informative videos I have seen on CZcams. Thank you not only for the beautiful tutorial and design, but the editing and overall quality was well appreciated.
I really rally like this table! Looks great :)
Thank you :)
Love the design. for the corner brackets/supports i'd prob change the method by using scrap 4x4's i have. but great work.
fabric was definitely a nice touch. looks great!
Thank you.
Great project! I plan to use the style to make a mantle for my fireplace.
Another great build, you do awesome work and are very creative. I really like the cloth on the bottom, it adds to the professional look. I don't comment much, but I always look forward to your videos/builds.
It looks good. I like the style of the feet, as well as the addition of the fabric. I used to stretch canvas for paintings and I have a tip. Start from the middle on the sides. You'll get a diamond shape. Then work your to the corners. You can work out a lot of wrinkles that way.
Thank you. This was my first go at fabric I quickly realized I should have started from the middle. Thanks for confirming.
I love the table. The colour is what would I would change to a darker colour. Either way, it looks good.
Thanks bud. Yep you can go bold with this. I think it will stand out even more.
Your builds are so amazing man keep up the good work!
Thank you.
This is a beautiful piece you did a great job. I want to make this using a lacquer finish.
I like that 45 degree concept. I built a small toolbox once using this method and the pieces just literally fell into place. If the viewers can't find (or don't want to be seen in the fabric department), landscape fabric works just as good. I've used this before because it is what I had lying around and I'm a cheap you know what.
Thank you. The 45 degree adds a cleaner look.
Great build mate. Especially love when you clamp some scrap timber underneath to help support when using the circular saw. Will be using that tip A LOT!!! Cheers, keep it up
Thank you. It's a pretty helpful tip.
nice table gona try it
Nice little project!
Only thing I don't really follow is why having the hassle/trouble with the brackets, little studs and miter holes if you also could use a standard 4x4 (or any other square beam) with recessed holes. Makes it (much) stronger as well.
Thank you. Your right sometimes I over think things. As I was editing the video I realized there was a easier route.
You are the man! Love the table
Thank you.
Wonderful wonderful !!!! Do ALLLLLL the pieces you make are they for your home or clientele ???? Either or they are lovely....👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Buen trabajo....Me encanta!!!
Excellent build, thanks for sharing. The fabric on the bottom was a nice touch, too!
Thank you. It definitely help.
Dude, you are so AWESOME! Please do a rundown of the tools you use in your shop.
Thank you. :) Shop is under construction. Soon Ill do a shop tour.
nice and simple
This is soooo beautiful. So simple so classy love it!!
Your on the money ! Nice
Chalk up another solid video. Thanks! -Nick
Thank you.
Looks awesome
Thank you.
Love it
Looks Great!
Thank you!
i love those clamps cause theyre cheap and very good nice choice everything else is too expensive!
encore un joli boulot
Looks clean! Nice Work as always
Thanks man!
How have I never seen that idea to clamp some scrap wood to the main board when cutting it with a circular saw? I can't tell you how many times that would have been helpful! The assembly of the coffee table was really neat too, nice use of those brackets! Keep it up man!
Thank man. Its a helpful one, but some how I seems to always forget it.
Meu jovem você é muito habilidoso e caprichoso , parabéns , grande abraço
Great vid. Can't wait 4 da table saw/ jig saw/ router table workstation build vid.
I really want to make this! You did an awesome job! It may be sinple but for somebody like me that have no woodworking skills it look difficult lol. I'm going to attempt to make a list of the sizes of wood I need and take it to Home Depot/Lowes for them to cut for me but then again I'm already confused on what to write on the list for them lol🤦🏾♀️. Anyway great job!!!! In the meantime let me find a woodworking class to attend.
looks great! I wish I had all the tools nessesary to build your DIY projects! I'd make them all! Thanks for the videos
Thank you. Checkout my limited tool series I may be able to help you get started ;). Here is a ling to the playlist czcams.com/play/PLE6IL_H-YxnztDZbRLT9ItW2J7q2ejT40.html You'll have to pick up a few hand tools to follow along.
Glen,
Learned something new! Love the scrap wood and clamp to hold the cut-off, genius!
AAR
Thanks that's awesome, glad I could help .
Great build, I dug the table a lot!!!
do it again, but add an inside pocket, or box, with a lid. then you can store your remote controls, box of tissues or whatever other little things that you may need.
nice one... Glenn please make desk organizer where mobile phones, tablet, wrist watches and purse and other stuffs can be kept. Hope u might giv it a try coz i really need one and m not coming up with any idea of how to build it!!
Thank you. Yep Ill be making one of those soon. I have a lot of request for that.
Great work, looks really nice.
Thank you.
I feel so privileged to watch what you do. Great stuff 👍🏻

This would be really cool if you added some storage inside for remotes and magazines or whatever

I thought I just saw you fix a wooden floor for your neighbor on another video.
This is why it's good to stay out of drugs. Clear brain. Keep it up bro!
You should do more contemporary peices. very nice :)
I will :) Thank you.
Great video man. Makes me want to try and setup a workshop for myself.
Thanks. Its work but worth the effort when you finish.
Looks awesome! Great design and craftsmanship, thanks for the vid
Awesome!!
your videos makes me want to support local creators next time I need furniture
Thank you :)
I would love a mini version of that for my new PC i just built. I would add some led lighting to the bottom
Those legs make it pop... great work 🤓 👍🏼
I agree Thank you.
Definitely looks high-end. Great work!!!
Thanks man!
Nice tutorial - The next time you do 45 degree cuts would you mind showing exactly how you measure the cut mark with the blade of your saw - I feel that if I had to do this I could definitely be 2 or 3 off each time and my panels would never line up.
Thanks! I will.
looks amazing! thnx for linking the legs 👍
Your welcome. Thank you
Once again, you impress me with your creativity. Very nice!
Thank you.
great build
Looks fresh and so clean, clean.
