- Hi everyone xx Today's vlog is a bit more vulnerable. I woke up with debilitating anxiety and wanted to share what I eat and how I hold myself when anxiety hits.

What has helped me is not claiming the "diagnosis" "anxiety" rather I say, sometimes I feel anxious. Our words are powerful and our thoughts too! I believe we'll always be healing, growing and becoming wiser. And today I choose to not give others and things outside of my body more power than I give to myself. Also, yoga. And creating anything I can share or give to others.
i totally agree with what you're saying. diagnosis can become very toxic if one overly identifies with them, but i also believe that sometimes labels can help us communicate how severe things are. her anxiety seems like it could be chronic which isn't simply "i sometimes feel anxious", it's something that can transform how she lives her life. and sometimes these chronic conditions are not our fault and our mind is not to blame, they can arise from serious traumas that can take a lifetime to heal. just some thoughts, not saying im right or wrong but what ive currently realized through experiences :) blessings

I was such an anxious mess my whole life until I was diagnosed with celiac 5 years ago in my mid twenties. Obviously not everyone has undiagnosed autoimmune diseases haha but it was so hard for me to overcome the trauma from growing up in a rough childhood. And my body felt physically sick all my life too. It got worse as I grew older and I never felt truly healthy or well. Being diagnosed was a blessing and after a year or two, my body was finally healing from the damage and I haven’t had panic attacks or anxiety for years. It’s amazing to look back and see myself now compared to crying and freaking out in bathrooms years ago 😂

I've suffered from anxiety my whole life as well, but my panic attacks didn't get really bad until about 5 years ago and since then I grind my teeth while I sleep. I started wearing a mouth guard at night and it makes a world of difference as it protects my teeth and I'm no longer waking up in pain from grinding.
I actually just scheduled an apt for a fitted one ❤️

As another being who is a biiig holistic health/healing advocate also working in a mountain town living in my own similar artful natural way lol, this is so refreshing because we allllll have our down periods and moments, and sometimes it can feel like to really preach a deep happiness and peace we must only feel this all the time….but its not true. I have my own depressive episodes,, And authentic waxes and wanes are beautiful and normalllll. :)
I know youve mentioned it before (but can't find it right now) but can you suggest a book around menstruastion? I see you often mention eating and moving differently depending on the phase I'm in. I have PTSD and recently started to notice i panic and atruggle the most on mt period (sometimes the day leadung up to it) and when I ovulate. I'd like to learn how I can support and nurish my body during these different phases. Thanks :)

I have found jaw pain can be related to my desire to express boundaries and sometimes anger

have you ever tried anti-depressants? I keep trying them but, they don’t work for me and have the worst symptoms. I feel like I’m a little stuck because, I don’t want to continue taking them but, I don’t want to have terrible anxiety and chronic pain either. I’ve tried some natural ways to treat it but, I’ve never tried L-Theanine. Do you think it just takes some time for my body to get back to normal? Also, how do you feel about being on birth control to help PMDD? It helps me not have the worst periods ever but, I’d prefer to not have to take anything. My hormones have been crazy lately.

Yes :) the moth on my arm I got after coming home from my first solo trip abroad, I feel deeply connected to the metamorphosis symbolism as well as shining in the darkness. The mountain in my arm is Mount Shasta, my home mountain as well as the Root Chakra capital of the world 🏔️
