In this video i am gonna show you "How To Make Extension Board From PVC Pipe at Home." Its Very easy to make Extension Board at Home using PVC pipe and some 3 pin socket. This Homemade Extension Board is very useful gadget that you can make home by your own. This Homemade Extension Board is very powerful and you can use any appliances with 16A current . This Homemade Extension Board is very cheap and the materials i used are easily available in any electrical show.
The Build quality of this homemade extension board is very good because i have used PVC pipe for making this Extension board. This is very important tool for every DIY creator. AZ electrician /electrical engineer I would not recommend one switch between three sockets but you can put 16A switch then it's acceptable 😊 by the way nice idea 😉

Awesome.
First, use a 16A switch for both phase/live and neutral to make sure there is no voltage if the switch is in the off position (shouldn‘t be an issue with these plugs so long the power outlets are properly wired up). And add a fuse rated about half to 3/4 of the current rating of the wires as screwing stranded wire goes against EU/VDE (and to my knowledge also US) electrical wiring code as it can‘t be guaranteed the wire still can handle the rated current.
But the power strip itself really looks nice.
India has practically no regulation. All house wiring is done in stranded wires. This was ok 30-40 years back as the biggest load was the refrigerator which was about 350 watts those days. Even washing machines were not prevalent those days. Electricity was mainly used for 6-10 tube lights of 40 watts and 3-5 ceiling fans and a small refrigerator. The biggest common appliance was a 2 kva water heater that too mainly in north India.
Now we have washing machines , 2-3 split ACs , water heaters in every bath rooms, small 2 kva room heaters at least 2 of them but no attention has been paid to regulation at all. Most electricians are uneducated people without any training or licences. Just some random guy off the street starts hanging around some one who does wiring he becomes an electrician and in a year he is also training others as he branches out in his own. It's the wild west out here.

How come neutral and phase wires are connected to switch. Didn't understand that. I believe blue and black wire should be direct and red wire should come through switch.
