- After driving a stock Acura NSX around for 2+ years, I decided it was finally time to steam a little rice in the rice cooker.

I love me my carbohydrates! :D
gave the exhaust system some cardboard to lay on while his buddy rolls around on the pavement lol
DonaId Trump underrated comment
OVERR8TED e
He had a blanket
Priorities first.
Lmao
Exhaust gets cardboard to lay on, friend doing the work gets hot asphalt...
tracks an S2k and dailys an NSX. NIOOCE!
Almost sounds like a v8 at low revs, it's that deep.
8:34 do I hear some free range chickens?
Lololol
Honestly I'm surprised that the stock exhaust lasted that long, I know he we rice boys are. In any case those are some delicious carbohydrates.
Damn. This video has really made me want an NSX. This + supercharger + bucket seats and alcantara steering wheel + really good suspension and tires = ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Arthur Sperotto Honda’s and superchargers go together like PB&J
Fucking wonderful, you slap that shit togetha’ like a docta’!
Sir, any boost is gonna be nice
8:47 Man, what a sound!
8:31 NOICE ;)
Just what I needed. Some NSX exhaust sounds and revving!
My car is a red 91, and I just installed the same exhaust today. Compared to the old pride V2, it really opened up the volume without being too loud.
Power to you man, threw an invidia q300 on my S2K and I love it. Otherwise mostly stock. Thing sounds ridiculous for a 4-banger. I imagine the NSX sounds awesome in person
I had the dual tip Q300 on my AP2. Nice sounding exhaust for $600!
"even in the initial hits, you get that loudness"
Please floor it at 8000 rpm in a tunnel. Let me know when you do :D
Gorgeous exhaust! Nice tips. Its a bit aggressive, but its hard to make that engine sound bad!
Looks better than the new one. The new one looks like the whole rice paddy.
also you're not too much of a ricer, that car is too well kept to be a true ricer, and also it seems like, unlike a real ricer, you add parts to your car that are good quality.
and also it actually sounds good. Real rice sounds like hot garbage.
Been waiting for nsx mods. 👍🏽
Does anyone make headers for these that change the sound? Accords with the J pipe sound amazing, same form KL Mazda mini V6’s. I’ve never been a fan of the nsx’s exhaust note but there has to be a way to change it.
Imagine for one moment a 4.0 Honda V8.
The NSX is exotic enough that you get away with the added volume.
Sounds like an Alfa Romeo. Sounds really good
How’s the drone? Is it bad driving 90 down the highway?
I recognize that freeway! I live in San Jose too, hopefully I run into you one day
Just keep your ears open for a loud exhaust :)
what a spectacular ricer afternoon its been
sounds good!
that was fasho the route to SJSU
Pure eargasam!! Nice USDJDM exhaust
Nice work Fenton! It'll be cool to shoot again soon!
Nice exhaust! Time for some wheels! At least maybe the later nsx stock wheels.
Lol shits so loud I love it
Nice. Don't forget to honk under that bridge on King.
You need to join RoadStr and put this NSX on your profile. It is way to cool to not share with people!
Man you got my car , please bring my car back !
sounds kinda like an n52
Everyone needs a jolt lol
Beautiful car man.
That’s awesome!!
What aftermarket stereo do you have? It looks like it fits right into the standard NSX center console.
The OEM stereo was removed but the controls are still intact. The unit at the bottom is a Defi ZD gauge, not a stereo.
I love carbohydrates.
I LOVE IT !!!!!
Sounds good. 2.25 diameter exhaust won't drone.
Actually it does drone quite a bit between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Luckily at 80mph in 5th gear I'm at 3500 rpm!
Are you in San Jose?
´sounds nice :D
@Zygrene Where is that Canyon road at?
Somewhere in southern california or arizona idk where do they leave, but definitely south west coast
The canyon road is called Sierra Road in San Jose, it’s a local favorite for a lot of people but mainly for pot smokers. It’s cause of them that a great driving road is now patrolled by cops
That’s not rice honestly
you consider yourself a ricer? also nice upgrade sounds like a j37
Usually I'm only into functional mods, but every now and then I crave a little fried rice
louder than the TAITEC series? :) I thoguht tthat's the loudest
FreestylerAlbert there's also that Tracy Sports pipe too.
But man can't go wrong with an nsx. XD
Good question. I might have to film a rice uhh I mean sound off video with other NSX owners soon!
Rice off LOL! Sounds great Zygrene; much better then the quiet stock one. I installed the Taitec G006 exhaust along with DC headers last summer. Combo sounds great.
What steering wheel and head unit is that?
350mm Momo Tuner silver, head unit is not a head unit, it's a Defi ZD gauge cleverly installed behind the stock radio screen by the previous owner!
Awesome. I like the look of the silver momo. I think I might put one in mine. That gauge is badass!
Sounds like an e36
That's how it should sound from the factory. Here's a clip of my all time favourite nsx sound: czcams.com/video/vcVzvglry_M/video.html&t=
Similar Honda beat sound
donut media?
Yup they used a clip from this video
Used to love this car but these days with all the new cars coming out, it's really hard to justify the premium on this car vs the value you get from other brands for much much less. Yeah, I get it, the NSX will always be the Japanese supercar but it definitely does not fit the definition of a modern supercar because the goal post has moved so so much. Unfortunately, outside of JDM world, the NSX doesn't have much to stand on it's own for the similar price range. Even the latest NSX is dud and prices are matching these old NSX....which have appreciated as a result of the new NSX....normally the opposite happens
I can see where you're coming from, but think about it - Acura NSX = Honda reliability, looks like a Ferrari (in red, anyway), still a very nice vehicle inside and out, mid-engine, RWD, 50/50 weight distribution, and did I mention reliable? It's an incredible car for the money that will last as long as any of us will. Even for $50k, I'd absolutely buy one, assuming it's low mileage and taken care of. Why? Because with proper maintenance, it'll last a lifetime, and then some. And modern cars IMO can't hold a candle to how good this car looks.
No Laguna Seca for the old girl then? :`(
Your rice brings all the cops to the yard
Probably not. I bought the S2000 for a reason! But I would be open to tracking the NSX at Buttonwillow.
it sound nice, it could be worse
Is it rwd?
Needs an ls swap
