    Want a stupid silly build to tide you over for a while? Well, here we go, a silly, silly build that would work in Pathfinder 2e.

    This is great. In a world full of min-maxed, optimized power-builds, here is someone taking a risk to be "silly," and yet still provides a solid, perfectly viable build. Not the most optimized, but still good to very good. Flavor the sneak attack precision damage as smashing the target in the face or a kidney shot. Batter up!

      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před měsícem +2

      I mean, not a lot of rogues can D8 sneak attack, so certainly not bad. Yeah, I like it.

      @deityofcrystals Před měsícem +2

      Pf2 doesn't really have "power builds" you're never going outside the curve. As long you max your main stat and play within in it build is pretty secondary.

    • @Specter053
      @Specter053 Před měsícem +1

      @@deityofcrystalsNot really. While PF2e's balance is very good in the sense of a fully optimized character isn't miles better than an unoptimized one, there's still a decent difference between the two. This difference can come in slightly better damage (stuff like Rogue dedication or Eldritch Archer) or defenses (Champion Dedication, Sentinel or Stelward Defender) or, most commonly, more options for more situations (a Ruffian Rogue with the Mauler dedication will have more options on their turn depending on which feats they grab). While the space to gain vertical power is limited by the tight math, the space for horizontal power is still there.

    This is a hilariously solid build lol. I like that you design a mini for the character while discussing the build. I would totally use this build in a like 1-4 adventure.

    Here's another ridiculous but fun build: Elf Beastkin Monk, you start at a 30 foot speed, with fleet and nimble elf it goes up to 40, as a monk you get eventually a +30 so 70, and beastkin can get a feat that increases it by another +10, so 80. Impressive, but that's not all! Take the barbarian archetype, which means at level 20 you can take the lv10 barbarian feat Furious Sprint, which, as long as you run in a straight line, lets you move 5 times your speed for two actions, or 8 times your speed for three actions. This character can now run at a respectable 640 feet per turn, which comes up to roughly 115 miles an hour/70 kilometers an hour. And that's without haste or any magic items like boots of bounding!

    • @PsiPrimeProductions1
      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před měsícem +1

      Yeah, technically that all checks out, but it might not be intentional. EVERY other versatile heritage feat that gives you bonus move speed also has the caveat that it doesn't stack with other ancestry feats that increase your move speed. That is missing from Animal swiftness, but that might have been an oversight.

    Love this series concept! It teaches the character creation process while also being very entertaining! Very unique
    If I may throw my hat into the ring on ridiculous builds: The Hyperfixation Hunter
    This build's goal is to create the most convoluted/complicated single action ability possible, and here's what I came up with.
    Ancestry: Any
    Background: Bounty Hunter (Foreshadowing)
    Class: Ranger
    Level 1: Take the Outwit Hunter's Edge
    Level 1: Ranger Class Feat: Monster Hunter
    Level 2: Ranger Class feat: Monster Warden
    Level 4: Take the Bounty Hunter Archetype Dedication feat
    And that's it! Feel free to fill out the rest however you want. So here's the full list of want happens when you use the Hunt Prey action on a creature:
    You can gain a +2 circumstance bonus to:
    Perception checks when you Seek your prey
    Survival checks when you Track your prey
    Deception, Intimidation, Stealth, and all Recall Knowledge Checks about your prey
    Gather Information about your prey
    You and your allies gain a +1 circumstance bonus to:
    The next attack roll against your prey
    The next saving throw against your prey
    AC against your prey's next attack (This is redundant for yourself because of Outwit however, which is a +1 to AC against all prey's attacks)
    You ignore the penalty for making ranged attacks within your second range increment against your prey
    You can attempt a free Recall Knowledge Check about your Prey
    And you learn an additional weakness on a critical success when Recalling Knowledge about your prey
    All of this, in one action.
    You can make things even more complex with the Bounty Hunter feat Posse, but that takes a minute to do.
    It's absolutely ridiculous, but also provides crazy utility at the same time, I want to play this at a table one day so badly!

    Oooh, nice! Love the HeroForge rep there, their color-print minis have been a mainstay for my Pathfinder characters 💚 Plus just doodling in the app has been a big creative outlet and self-therapy tool for a while now ^_^

    Billy Badass was an effective street preacher.
    With a mighty throw, he proselytizes passers by, surprising them with a tree limb to the face and his slogans:
    "WELCOME TO MY CLUB!"
    He explains further:
    "IT'S MY "BILLY" CLUB! "
    After he loots their bodies:
    "THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATION!"

    I love the idea of throwing a giant chakram so my silly build is a giant barbarian with throwing weapons, you can't make dex your key stat and are permanently clumsy 1... but it looks real cool

    I've been hanging out with the boys too much.
    I read the title as "Elven Coldcocker" ... but given that the build bashes brains in with a club, I guess my dyslexia wasn't far off from the mark.

    I might be tempted by Ranger archetype instead of Cleric for Far Shot, doubling the range increment again to a 40' range-though of course getting both would be ideal.

    Personally I'd have gone for a Grippli with a Rungu. Slightly less damage, but much more respectable range.

    • @PsiPrimeProductions1
      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před měsícem

      Sadly, Tripkee (renamed Grippli) don’t have the ability to get a free archetype at level 1, I don’t think at least.

  • @SuperMattMart
    @SuperMattMart Před měsícem

    OMG! This is amazing. Subscribed! Please do more. If I were to do this I'd go with precision ranger instead of rogue... Just because ranged sneak attack can be tricky. Also, why not take quick draw at second instead of trap finder?

    • @PsiPrimeProductions1
      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před měsícem

      I took Trapfinder at one, Strong arm at 2. Strong arm isn’t a ranger feat, which is why I didn’t do ranger. Good looking out though. Glad you like the concept.

      @SuperMattMart Před měsícem +1

      @@PsiPrimeProductions1 oh I see. Not sure how I missed that in the video, must have been multi-tasking. Best part about Pathfinder is even with these great concepts there are many options to make something viable. A weapon implement Thaumaturge can get a reactive strike at range with a club at first level. And then call the club back to your hand at level 2. 😂

  • @krystofsvarovsky7456
    @krystofsvarovsky7456 Před měsícem

    I know it is a fun build but still you should have made it dex based if you build it around ranged atacks.

    • @PsiPrimeProductions1
      @PsiPrimeProductions1  Před měsícem

      Half throwing clubs, half melee. The club throwing stuff is fun, but he's more likely to get more use by running up and bonking people in melee with flanking. But yes, his boosts at 5th and 10th level should go into dexterity.

  • @yoh1914
    @yoh1914 Před měsícem +2

    I think you could reflavor the club for a brick for extra style/hilarity points.
