Wrong equipment. The Prussian line infantry did not have shakos at this time (Jena/Auerstedt 1806). They were only introduced later in the course of the military reforms and were used on the battlefields from 1812 onwards ...

Timrath I’m pretty sure it’s what the French actually wore if you’ve seen pictures of Napoleonic veterans in the 1830s but they’re actual veterans not reenactors in their actual uniforms
@@nordy4981 You might want to take a second look at them. What those extras in the video are wearing looks nothing like what real French bearskins used to look like. They're ill-fitting and saggy, and they're not even made of fur. Real bearskins looks vastly different from these, which seem to be sheep's wool. The plaques, raquettes, patches and plumes are missing or in the wrong places. I know that most movies get bearskins wrong, because they're inherently difficult to make right, not least because the materials are hard to come by, but this here is by far the worst attempt.
A great man, who did great deeds and great mistakes as well...
Napoleon greatest weakness was he did not when to stop and replacing the Spanish King with hes bother scared the rest of European royal families

it's better to meet this kind of "great" man in a book; in real life they are nothing but bad.

What a farcical production. No wonder studios weren't interested in doing more movies about Napoleon.
I like the shots here, but wtf was that Prussian defence? Cannons and musket volleys going off and the french didn’t take a single casualty lol
That was meant to be Waterloo? It was rubbish.
Yep loved the Belgium mountains in the background. LOL
Those are the ugliest bearskin cap imitations I've ever seen.

It's a shame but the French always end up making a fool of themselves
From which country do you come ?
Yeah, speak about Verdun, cretino.
Uniforms wrong. Drummers should be wearing a chacko not the later kepi.
