Eloi everyone......before installing the new tube, pump up the old tube again to see where the puncture is and then check the same spot on the tire. Remove any embedded debris. Another thing is to get an schrader adopter to fit into Presta to enable you to pump your tire up in any gas station. Ride safe always.
in canada our little bike pumps NEED the adapter. would NEVER be without one. great point

This is a great point. If you confirm and identify the hole in the tube, you can mark it with something to make it eadier to find layer for patching. Also, match the hole in the tube to the tire to make sure there is no sharp something STILL in your tire, or the new tube will poke right away.

comment as i watch. i was even slower than that when putting on new continental GPS5000 tires. The beading would not go in right. watched youtube videos, learned to use some soapy water on the inside hook area of the times, then overinflate. then i could hear a LOUD !!! POP as the beading went into place. always check the vertical up/down on the tire...if it is out of whack then the beading is NOT seated and its dangerous.
little hand pumps are fine if solo, but i also always carry a co2 cartridge in my saddle bag.
very smart what you did to check the inner side of the tire. otherwise it will just puncture again if there is debris.

moral of the story: if someone is a newbie, PRACTICE a tire and tube change at home, NOT learn on the road!!!
Gusto naman talaga nating gumamit ng bike lane. Wag sana nilang isipin ma dapat nakakulong sa bike lane. Maraming reasons kung bakit lalabas tayo kahit ayaw natin.
Tip lang po when pumping, Ibanga niyo po yung kabilang dulo ng pump sa edge ng sidewalk or kahit anong edge. It will help you inflate easier and faster

Agree with you po miss eloi. Like nung monday lang po lumabas lang ako saglit sa bikelane dahil oovertake ako sa unahan kong nasa bikelane, bubungguin daw ako nung nakamotor. Karamihan po talaga ng nakamotor galit sa siklista dahil di na sila makapasok ngayon sa bikelanes. Ride safe po always maam eloi.

dagdag ko din experience ko bike to work aq everyday madalas ginagawa din waiting area ng mga pasaherong naghihintay ng masasakyan lalo na rush hour nasa bike lane lahat ng tao, minsan naglalakad sa gitna ng bike lane or may nagjojogging at minsan yung mga bigla bigla tatawid ng bike lane pra sumakay ni walang tingin tingin sa kaliwa o kanan nila.
Yung usual na problem tlga is yung mga obstruction, at mga sirang kalsada then mapipilitan ka nman lumabas ng bike lane dahil, masyado makitid ung bikelane o mejo mabagal yung nasa unahan mo #4 as said on this video.
Pwede po cool fever pangontra sa inet, bahagya lang pero makakatulong din po.. 😊

I hope that the govt specially LGUs on the certain area to use the budget properly. Marami kasing ginagawang kalsada every year on the same spot. Sana mag ikot sila sa nasasakupan nila para makita nila at ma improve ung kalsada sa Pilipinas. RS po lage.

Ok 'tong vlog mo Ms. Eloi.. relate na relate ako sa mga talking points mo about our current bike lanes we have today here in NCR and how we currently use them with regards to our total cycling experience and safety. Motorists easily complain and label all bikers/cyclist the same way pag may isang rider silang nakitaan ng mali sa daan.
Dapt mag bike din mga city engineers natin para maappreciate or mas maging maayos ang planning nila for city roads natin. Marami masyadong hazards sa bikelanes. I think much better kung inner lanes ang mga bike lanes.

Dumaan ako kahapon sa bike lane from ortigas to makati. sadly. yung bike lang yung part na may mga manholes at drainage. yung iba nman may harang so hindi ka makaovertake no choice but to wait. Im riding a road bike also. kaya damang dama ko girl ang every lubak 😂. Hope the city also be responsible na hindi lang basta masabing may bike lane. they should also make sure kung safe ba tlga ang mga bikes sa bike lanes and kung effective ba ang bike lanes.

3:10 Everyday I cycle through that C-5 segment in Libis and if you are not familiar with the road conditions (especially during the night with poor road visibility) accidents are not far from happening. And the pit of doom in front of SnR puts the cherry on top. LGUs and/or the DPWH should really step up their game in improving roads not just for motorists but also for cyclists.

Biker dn ako lods, pero i suggest dnt go on the fast lane... Ginawa un para sa mga sasakyan, hindi para sa mga bikers... Huwag na magreklamo dahil pangit ang bike lane, ang mahalga binigyan pa dn tayo ng daan sa gilid.... Riding on fast lane is dangerous, plus madadamay pa ung ibang motorista...
Yung ibang lugar kasi dito sa PH nilagyan lang basta ng bike lane. Hindi man lang pinagplanuhan. Minsan yung mga maaring cause ng aksidente nasa mismong bike lane.

Well we cannot expect naman na Gov't. can do everything for us (motorists, pedestrians, bikers... and so on...) at least the separation of bikers and 4 wheelers can at least lessen the major occurrence of accidents. Lahat naman may mga pasaway kaya nasa mga matitino na lang ang pagpapasensya. Basta sana lang everyone be responsible enough to do his/her part as law abiding citizen and promote safe evironment.
