Hulk, Montu, and Kraken are all really good rides too. You said you needed a few rides to fully appreciate Montu. I only got 1, so when I go back for Iron Gwazi (and SheiKra, that was closed) I'll certainly ride it again! Kumba is my least favorite B&M so far, but it's still a good ride. My only problem with it is it has an awful rattle that gave me a headache for a few days... Maybe it's better in a different seat/train though. I look forward to riding more B&M loopers in the future, like Afterburn, SheiKra, Wild Eagle, Superman, Batman, Scorcher, and Vortex (wait, not that one)

my top two probably have to be Nemesis and Black Mamba, both are VERY intense, with the addition of being mostly in trenches and underground (especially Black Mamba, Phantasialand does NOT skimp on theming) so it genuinely feels like there's a risk of having your legs chopped off.
A sleeper pick of mine would be Flight Deck at CGA, which unfortunately got that new paint job that isn't quite as intimidating as the all-black color scheme it used to have. It's very short, yes, with only 3 inversions, but it does NOT slow down during the entire layout, and that last helix over the water feels like it's going to rip your legs off.

B&M have made some great casters outside of America as well. In England, we have a VR tide (we'll not anymore but originally did. Kinda at the start it had no vr, then it was turned into having vr then most of the headsets were dozen which ended up with like 0 vr headsets.) We also swarm which is the second wing coaster to be built and the only one in the UK. I wish we had some good rides over here but we stick to the great themings.

I have some friends that list Georgia Scorcher as their favorite ride in the park. I loved it when I was a kid just barely tall enough to ride it, but now I wish they would at least convert it into a floorless. Ideally, they would just build a new ride there. It could still be floorless, and they could add in one of those massive loops like Dominator and Superman Krypton, inch a little bit closer to Mind Bender, maybe cross the road like Goliath. I doubt that will happen soon, but man would it be nice to have a better ride there.

I've been on 6 B&M Loopers, none of which crack the top 15 here. My personal favorite is Talon: Grip of Fear at Dorney Park. Its not the most super intense Invert but it still pulls through some fantastic forces, its inversions are all excellent and forceful, it makes masterful use of its terrain, its smooth as butter, and its got that great low to the ground helix at the end. My 2nd favorite is my first inverting coaster ever when I rode it back in 2014, Bizzaro at Six Flags Great Adventure. The original floorless still going strong as of 2021. My single 2020 ride was slightly underwhelming, hence why I have Talon over it, but to be fair, I got assigned middle row and the trains were half full due to COVID. But that doesn't take away from how much of a beast this 7 inversion monster is, its a long ride, still runs smooth as butter, and has some awesome theming.
My all time worst B&M Looper is Green Lantern at Six Flags Great Adventure. No, it wasn't the stand up trains that bothered me, it was the rattle! I've only ridden this once in 2017, and the headbanging was so bad that it completely ruined the ride for me as my ears were in incredible amounts of pain throughout the whole ride and I had to ride defensively. Which is a serious shame, because Green Lantern has an excellent layout and despite the pain I remember it still being an intense, forceful, and long ride that if it weren't for the headbanging, would be one of my favorites in the park I skipped it on my 2019 and 2020 trips, but I think I'm going to give it a second shot in 2021 with my newfound knowledge on how to properly ride stand ups, and I'm going to shoot to get myself in the front row.
The others I've ridden are: Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Great Adventure, Hydra: The Revenge at Dorney Park, and Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Great Adventure. I'm a fan of all three of these rides and enjoy riding them whenever I go to either park.

  • @TripleTSingt

My favorite B&M Looper is also my #1 coaster out of my 53 credits: Black Mamba @ Phantasialand
I loved this Invert ever since it opened in 2006, when I was lapping this thing all day at ten years old and just barely tall enough. And at my last 6 rides in September of 2020, I still love it. Great mix of whippy inversions, low to the ground (or even under it) tight and forceful turns and helices and even 2 or 3 pops of airtime. And I'm not even talking about the theming. It has the slightest rattle in the back of the train, but is glass smooth in the front, where I sit regardless, just for the views and the splash of water in the face at the Jr. Immelmann over a waterfall. For me, only Nemesis and Montu have a shot at dethroning my bae

Carowinds is my home park and I know I’m in a super minority here, but Vortex is actually a pretty fun ride. There is definitely an art to the standup restraints, but if you know how to wear them there is a lot of enjoyment to be had. It’s a really unique experience to ride front row while standing up, and honestly I’ve been on B&M’s with much worse rattles. There’s rarely ever a line and I find myself riding it when I’m switching between Fury and Intimidator almost every opportunity I get. It’s certainly not a masterpiece, but I would miss it if they took it out.

I've only been on 3 B&Ms, two of which are loopers, so I guess my #1 is Black Mamba. It made me think that I am probably not a huge fan of inverts, and that I would like a good hyper (aka not silver star) or floorless/sitdown more.
Apparently, I made a mistake though, as Black Mamba only truly shines on the front row. I can believe that, as I didn't really see much from my seat during the ride as there was either the other seats or a wall surrounding me.
