THEY R VERY LUCKY THAT THEY NOTICED IT ON TIME. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET HALF OF WHAT THEY HAVE LOST. FOUR MONTHS B4 THEY NOTICED IT, WERE THEY SLEEPING?
Could it be that they were banking on enhancing customer experinence by fulfilment first and settlment later only to have the second leg failing. But his is wiered if it lasted for four months. Daily settlement is typically the case. Unless the issue affected on a particular set of customers which went unnoticed.
Whatever be the case, this underscores the vital need for governance in emerging organisations in Africa. The fact that something works technically is not sufficient. We must have periodic audits, process reviews, architecture documentation and all the other elements of governance.
Even the so-called big big banks experience stuffs like this once in awhile, it even happened in the US, humans aren't perfect, so hence their products
Sir pls check it ooo is it interswitch? or their switching company? Before interswitch will come after you. We want to have u giving us your information via this channel poo
Do Opay have all their BVN? If yes they collaborate with other institutions to recover their losses. They should use this opportunity to officially register and operate like other banks
Now who is going to do the same with our greedy politicians?
How can a glitch of this magnitudes last for 4 months. Maybe their tech experts has JAPA.
😂😂😂
😂😂
Inukwa😂
Bad governance hits even the rich 😂
Just like the Movie: BANK ALERT 😂
Vdm talked abt something like this, where the guy cashed out abt 600million during the glitch
Imagine, living like Nigerian politician, spending money for free. I hope those who enjoyed can now come tell us how it feels 😅
Another glitch, another court case in Nigeria? Go figure!!!
This feels like an attack
Why are we wicked like this?🤔
To be fair there's nowhere in the world where there won't be people who would refuse to return the money.
Who is we? Anywhere in the world, people would use that money. However, the bank can track everyone of their accounts and put it in debit.
@@Techgod7848i think japan would lol

That's what happen when they hire CZcams tech guys instead of those with real life experience.

They will definitely not recover all their money.
They will.
@@oyonozesq Ok I wish them al the best.I’m an ex banker and worked on recoveries and it’s very difficult to recover such
Opay is coming for them, but not going to recover all the lost
They will get the money back.
Except they stop putting money in the bank
