Thanks for sharing. I downloaded Forscan, joined the forum, requested the extended license, received the code within an hour, and enabled the brake controller. All worked perfectly!
I downloaded it to my laptop, do you have to join a forum and request a license? I got two emails one said awaiting confirmation then another said I was all set. Just waiting on the scanner at this point and I should be good to go? I am also trying to activate my factory trailer brake control

I have a 2012 also four-wheel drive and I've put a trailer brake box on mine and it shows everything is working back at the back when I check it but they tell me that when you first cranky truck it's not supposed to show your trailer box gain on your dash unless a trailer is hooked up to it and mine shows it every time I start it is there anything you can help me with there
Hi. Thank you for your videos.I've enabled Dark Mode so I have things working. I cant find Remote Start in IPC. Did you add the extra switch? I have the OBD Link MX but cant tell if it has both HS / MS can. Thank You for your help in advance
cool I'll give it a shot. I have a buddy who has one and I just got the same trailer brake setup on my f150 and have to activate them so that would be awesome if my buddy's will work and I can just do it myself
I installed my Ford TBC and engaged it using BAFX OBD2 and Forscan. When I attach my trailer the TBC displays "Trailer Disconnected" any help out there??
Nancy M Hansen I would check all your trailer wiring first. Have you used the trailer with a different vehicle to verify the brakes and lights all function properly?
Nancy M Hansen I wish I could offer more help. Maybe double check all connections are solid on the controller itself. Also maybe trying to turn off the controller in Forscan and then turn it back on. I don't know if that will help or not.

How find IPC Modules: i bought obd2 bafx, and when i connect it to my f150 15 xlt i didnt saw the ipc module after search i find my problem i fix it and now i have acces to all the modules abs ipc..... does this only work with the bafx obd2 or will it work with any obd2 scanner?

brandon hinman I contacted BAFX and they said the BAFX OBD2 will not activate trailer brakes, only read codes not change anything. I don't get it.

My trailer brakes work on my friends truck. We are not getting any 12V power through our 7 way socket. UGH

justin medina I have a Bluetooth adapter for my laptop that connects to the Bluetooth of the BAFX interface.
BAFX says this won't activate brakes. I'm comfused.
By itself it won't but with the full version of Forscan and the adapter you can.
