I don't know if you guys are still down here, but I get a motion sickness patch from the doctor that goes behind my ear before I fly and I promise you from one horrible flyer to another if you stop by a clinic and get one prescribed for her, put it on the night before the trip she will not have any problems going back.... its literally a whole different world. give her hugs for me I know how miserable it is to be airsick.

Please tell audrey not to feel bad. Flying is a chancy business that can affect even the most seasoned flyer. Weddings are a blessed event so I hope everything goes well.

Our 2020 was great, 2019 ended with cancer and 2020 ended with completed treatments and no more cancer! With the stark reality of cancer came a renewing of our marriage and realizing our love underlying all the ugliness life had become.

I love watching your vlogs. I also love how united your family is and I find it so beautiful! How I wish my family could get a long like this as well. It actually made me cry. Because of Covid we could not have family gatherings like this. My mom's cancer is in remission but, we can't be too careful so, no family get togethers this year. When I was a police officer, rode a Segway every shift at night in downtown Conway, SC. Chasing someone on a Segway was a lot of fun!

My heart breaks for poor Audrey. My Dad had motion sickness so bad that he even got sick riding in an elevator. Lots of rest and liquids is exactly what she needed and was back to her joyful self. It is always so great to see your family together and all the fun you all are having. I know the wedding is going to be beautiful, such a beautiful couple and great family to along with it. I hope you all get to see more of Arizona while you are here. We have mountains with pine trees, hiking trails, lots of lakes, so hopefully you all will get to go on many adventures. Stay happy and lots of love to you and your family!!!

My first time flying I couldn't raise my head up. I had to keep it in my lap. It was awful. The trip back was better. Hope Audrey did better on the flight home. I totally loved the sib day. Thank u so much for sharing your beautiful family and your love for God.
My first time flying the first part I was fine but heading back home I got sick not sure if it was something I had eat or maybe I got homesick I just don’t know but I didn’t feel good at all the day we came home.

I always like to see the difference in weather from one place to another. I just checked it’s 50 degrees in AZ and -3 in AK...that’s a bit of a jump in temp. 😂🥶

Make a phone call to Audrey's doctor let them know she got motion sickness on the plane and asked if the can prescribed the nausea patch thats placed behind the ear.

Jessica, if you are still in Arizona... Buy some GINGER ROOT TABLETS/CAPSULES for Audrey. They are a huge help for motion sickness! I carry them when I cruised.

@@britannia55 cold coke over ice & saltine crackers is good for nausea. Wonder if chewing gum like doublemint or spearmint would help? It helps your ears.

@@sheilajohnson4672 Arizona has the highest rate of spread of Covid 19 in the WORLD. We have a governor who does nothing. Our hospitals are packed. Morgue trucks are in the parking lot. We are facing 200-300 deaths a day here. Things are not good.

We just went on a family trip to az also. It was literally across the country for us. We drove though 30 hours each way. It was a long trip.

Happy New Year!! Love Arizona! After we both got out of the military and left North Pole Alaska, we moved to Flagstaff Arizona, My husband grow up in Williams Arizona. We lived in Flagstaff for 4 yrs before moving to Ohio where I grow up. Scottsdale is a beautiful city, but never did the Segway tour. Looked like you all had a fun time. I still get motion sickness but not as bad as I grew older, so Dramamine is enough for me. Poor Audrey, glad she is doing better!

A prescription of Zofran could be incredibly helpful for the traveling sickness. They have a dissolvable kind that sits under the tongue and works really fast. It’s the only thing that helps her. Hope Audrey feels better ❤️
An amazing type of antinausea med used to could get was just jelly type you could rub on inside of your wrist or right behind your ear & instantly worked!!
My oldest brother got prescribed Zofran for nausea from all the meds he takes. Now he can't go 4 hours with out. When it was prescribed to me the doctor said it's what they give cancer patients for dealing with chemo,strongest they make. That seems a little extreme for a kid, start with otc like Dramamine and work your way up. If you start at the strongest and it doesn't work you're out of options or you become dependent
@@keithl2110 they said she took dramamine & didnt help!! They give zofean in hosp all time for post op & preop,some low doses. Used to give scopalamine,just dab on inside of wrist or behind ear with bit of tape worked instantly!! I had to have for vertigo.

all the meds they put me on for Epilepsy. I was sick of how it made me feel and I got turned on to Charlotte's Webb cbd. But think for a second, this is a little girl who takes children's Tylenol last time I saw. Kid medicine first! I said start at Dramamine and work your way up. You don't take Tylenol one day and look for herion the next!
@@keithl2110 My daughter has been on Zofran for several years. I fully understand how it works. They prescribe it for far more reasons than just cancer patients. Dramamine and Zofran, while similar, are definitely not the same.
Dramamine is used as a preventative medication while Zofran is a fast acting immediate medication used for on the spot help.
Both have side effects. Both have amazing benefits. And it is most certainly prescribed at all ages.
As an actual parent who has to weigh the options, I’m confident I know much more about it than just a sibling.
Zofran comes in different doses. Shame on your brother’s doctor for letting it get so far. My daughter has to have routine evaluations to make sure she can, indeed, live without it.
Taking Zofran for traveling will not cause her body to become dependent upon it. Please educate yourself before trying to scare someone out of taking a medication that could benefit them. That’s very irresponsible.

Garret was so excited! My uncle was a pilot for 25 years and while he lived we got to fly quite a bit. (RIP)That used to my favorite thing ever!! On long flights I would stay awake if I could get the window and watch everything in Awe. Even got to visit AK on a "men of the family trip" and I loved it. Is it still a law there that road signs must be under 3ft and you navigate by mile markers instead of street names so you can appreciate the scenic beauty ?? ❤❤

For Audrey you might try Scopilamine patches next time. They go in your skin and at least for me they help a lot more. There are also lotion sickness bands for your wrist that can help too. Not to be nagative or anything isn't Arizona a hot spot for Covid-19? I pray you guys stay safe. My neighbors are battling with covid-19 and I have a brother in Christ who is also struggling at home because there is no hospital beds available for non critical patients we are biting our nails because he is struggling with cancer as well.
