My People's we're not "Recognized as a Tribe" rather an autonomous people's/nation and already have our Treaty of Friendship and Peace 1777 to 1836 as well as the Free Sundry Moors Act of 1790!!! Our indigenous style of existence was already recognized on the land's and indigenous to several tribal Nation's.

Thanks for sharing indeed some people who lived on Native American territories were not even Natives. Good presentation.

Just so ppl know Ancestory doesn't let you know when you have NA in you. Both sides of my mother's family were Cherokee and Ancestory said I had zero. My mother's cousin was also told this and contacted me bc she wanted to know what my results were. I was then mad and let them know I had the Dawes and Baker rolls that had my NA ancestors in them. They started backpedaling after that and within a month came out with a commercial saying ppl. had tested positive for NA Ancestors. My mom's both sides had famous NA in them. I decided through the negative experience that it doesn't matter what a geologist sight said. I didn't want money for the fact that my ancestors were tortured on the tribe what I wanted was to be part of the Cherokee tribe that in my soul I was. Between both my grandparents I am related to The Berry family from Georgia, the Woods family from Tennessee, the Ward family from Tennessee & one of my favorites John Tully Tally who is my grandfather's grandfather he hid Cherokee and was caught and he said when caught he had signed his death warrent. He was marched to Ok when the wife was released he wasn't seen or heard from again so I have no doubt he paid with his life. Just know that all that matters is who you know you are and honor your Ancestors. Don't waste time trying to get a Ancestory acknowledgement. You do not want blood money
You should just honor their ways and belief's.
