All Hiya Godzilla vs Kong Toys Reviewed and Compared to SHMA and NECA! Which is Best?

- We review all Godzilla vs Kong action figures and statues by Hiya Toys, and compare them to S.H. MonsterArts and NECA.
S.H. has been ripping us off. $40 bucks for that Godzilla is insanely good.
It’s because they have really been the most recognizable company that makes these kaiju figures other than Neca, and I think it’s gone to their heads because they have been getting sloppy. Maybe now that they realize there is competition in the market they will start trying harder.
They will start to work harder next time because they know they had a competition..
Well sh comes with all these accessories oh wait not any more
I got a good shm GODZILLA for 30 pounds and 30 pounds for Kong

As someone who has all the SHMA except for a few SCV and Destroyah, Spacegodzilla, and Rodan 92, this looks so much more faithful to the movie. I know Bandi touts about each being "hand sculpted", and Yuji is amazing at classic suites, but their Monsterverse just isn't accurate. I know why for the 14', but there was no excuse for 19'. My only fear for these is I really hope his tail can bend or curl tightly (without falling apart) and that you can bring his legs closer together to simulate a "walking pose", which no MV Godzilla figure can do. The scale of Hiya is better even compared to other SHMA Godzillas. If your like me and have them all lined up canonically, Both Earth, Shin, and Ultima just tower over the 19', which in reality 19' should be slightly larger than Shin, so Hiya will fit in perfectly.
I love the look for their Mothra and Rodan, but I'm kinda afraid they will be too large to stack up with SHMMA King G, and I do love the curvature of the SHMA Mothra's wings. But man, that blue moving into the normal pattern on her wings....beautiful. Again the scale just worries me. I also have a suspicion that Bandi will reveal a Special Color Rodan/Mothra soon, which will be more accurate to the films.
Me personally, I love the scaling between the SHMA Kong and the Hiya Godzilla more than than what we got in the movie. I think it would have been cooler for Kong to be this much smaller than the other Titans but still be able to physically rival or surpass Godzilla in certain areas of physical strength despite the size gap.
He would never surpass the king, but that would be cool nonetheless

@@user-xe4is1vy2e Godzilla isn’t stronger physically. Kong’s punches almost hit him off the boat in a single hit while sedated, Godzilla was saved by the fact he was in a crouched position. Add that to the fact Kong almost pulled a jawbreaker move on him(stopped by the atomic breath) and you have one strong ass monkey.

HIYA showing how its done right! I ditched alot of my past Godzilla collections after I was so disappointed with SHMA's poor quality & exorbitant pricing. Glad to say I am being drawn back with HIYA
I am really looking forward to other monsters coming in the same series, especially King Ghidorah
Holy shit, he’s huge!!! Also I agree, it is annoying when trying to pose SH Monsterarts figures when they fall apart. Also I wouldn’t past Hiya to release an atomic and burning versions. Especially since they’ve done battle and camouflage versions of their predator figures.
That HIYA exquisite basic is far from basic. It adds the color that SHMA lacked and adds the articulation that NECA lacked. I will say that I must disagree with how well the HIYA's box looks. Too similair to playmates in style and just not as creative or aesthetically pleasing as other boxes (not an IBC, just like to keep/display boxes).
I believe Legendary or TOHO was very stingy about GvK toy box designs at the beginning, seems like it still holds to true to this generic blue/orange motif.
And yes, the peg.
Fix those two and this will, arguably, be the best articulated 2019/2021 Godzilla on the market. The headsculpt, paint job, and size are excellent!
This looks absolutely amazing I would love to see more from them and I know it's a stretch I want the gameras!!!
All three of these are incredible. I have everything Godzilla and Kong related from Hiya pre-ordered and can't wait to get them. The only thing I don't care for is how the neck articulation looks on the Godzilla figure.
Glad competition is alive for SHMA because sometimes the quality can be very bad, and sadly neca lost license.

I sadly skipped this guy, alongside Kong. My major interests are just Mothra and Rodan, those I want the most. Mothra's isn't screen accurate (her wings are based from NECA which they used the design from a concept art, but it looks way better than what NECA did in many levels), Mothra's body is definitely a much bigger/upscaled version of the MonsterArts (I did the body height, NECA and SHMA are the same size on the body, except SHMA is thicker), and it will have that ab crunch like we'd hope for

the teeth and the dorsal spines are not what i prefer to be honest the teeth is some reason brown and the dorsal spines are short
i love how that shma mechagodzilla 2021 scales with the hiya godzilla, it’s nearly identical to their height difference in gvk

I always thought the Hiya Godzilla statue head was a little small, & when you see it with the basic Godzilla figure, you can see its waaay to small. The smaller figure has a bigger head than the bigger statue does - wtf? Anyways, the basic Godzilla figure is a must have & im glad they sticking it to the gappy / overpriced SHMA line.
Seeing this figure. Really makes me want to see this toy using the 2014 design.

The peg on the jaw is a shame, the figure has a good sculpt detail overall so that hinge on the jaw is inexcusable.

The Hiya statue screwed up the head, though. It's too small and disproportioned. Everything else about it is nice (though the maroon colour is not authentic to the movie at all). But that terrible head. I can't even look at it and won't buy it.
