  • Robust exchanges between Ms Indranee Rajah and several MPs unfolded in Parliament in Monday (Feb 6) over a decision not to prosecute six ex-senior management personnel at a subsidiary of conglomerate Keppel Corporation who were caught up in a major bribery scandal.
The MPs' questions covered issues such as the impact of the decision on Singapore's zero-tolerance approach to corruption.

      hypothetically:
Najib: I failed to learn it up🥲
Jho Low as a key witness in my case but he also not available; how can the court charge me?
actually Najib plays a tactic there as he was misled by Jho Low about the case, but the prosecutor gather sufficient evidence from the paper to substantiate Najib's beyond reasonable doubt of corruption in 1MDB case without testimony from Jho Low.

I cant explain further why is it so...but maybe its a way to protect themselves from further legal actions against them. As to why cant prosecute further in Spore, I am confuse too but I think they are protected ...this isnt the first case involving Keppel. In the 90s they were also involved in bribing an oil major superintendent. About 4 Keppel seniors involved were not prosecuted n Keppel just sent them overseas offices until the issue died down. If LKY is still around there won't be a debate. If statements are made in courts overseas (albeit a plea bargain), it (1) shouldn't include Singapore's court in the deal (2) Why can't our court summon them to take an oath legally. Can suspects actually reject to testify in court? Let's keep the same energy we use for silencing opposition viewpoints when we deal with this. Corruption is the number 1 pillar LKY built this nation on, PAP or not.

But when you are super rich and wealthy, you need to justify and declare where your wealth came from. But when the gahmen gain astronomical figure of wealth from their investment returns, they do not need to declare their wealth. Worst still, they take your CPF go invest to earn billions of dollars to pay for their salaries and now the capital also don't want to return to you. Keep on citing ageing population and rising healthcare as an excuse to procrastinate CPF withdrawal age until the day you step inside the coffin.
