Sounds fun, but every video showcasing a build needs to have a 1-2 minutes of gameplay showing how the build performs. Please add gameplay in future build videos. If the video is already 28 minute long and you feel like it would make it too long, surely you can cut somewhere else and get to the point.

I can give you some insight into this build or something similar cuz I put something up together last night. Before that I was playing Bash Barb, and I’m currently sitting at 102 Pit tier unlocked with it. I just wanna do tier 100 and then I’ll go back down to farm as I’m not interested with pushing it. The Flay bleed does insane damage to bosses, last night I did all the Uber bosses except Lilith and Beast in Ice cuz their phases got me😂 as far as Pit Pushing, I was getting decimated at tier 96 with the Flay build idk why because I had relatively the same items and similar stats as far as resistances. The only thing I can think of is that the Flay build doesn’t have the same amount of CC as Bash does to keep mobs stun-locked and also has a slightly harder time to build Fortify. So if you’re trying to push content, you might struggle. That being said, even with subpar items, you will be able to do all the Uber bosses with the Flay build. Just Flay to build up the bleeds then 2 Ruptures will kill all of them.

Hey! 🥰 I personally like AS more than CDR, even tho CDR is definitely a good choice! Because AS helps with DPS while also helping with CDR by procing hectic faster and by procing harrogath more due to more attacks per second :) as most of the build: "A lot of the items can be interchanged based on what you were lucky to get" :) For example if you get triple GA weapons with CSD, you will not blindly get CSD tempers, because they roll higher, because then you would have no Vulnerable, nor will you use only 1x GA item with vulnerable instead, It is all about adjusting around the gear available to you 💪
Nice vid man. Been looking to try out a bleed build so this will be fun. I have Rage chest but I am basically fresh level 100 for the first time playing this game. Will this build work without good gear while I try to farm better gear or would you suggest sticking with a more basic Bash build until I get gear more suitable for your build?
Truth be told? Bash is so easy to get rolling that I would stick with bash for a bit. If you can check my previous videos, you can see that just a better rolled weapon and slightly better aspect made me go from 16B to 33B damage. Bleeds are the most gear heavy in the game unfortunately and even a tiny bit can double the damage 🙈 they have the highest scaling So for now I would chill with bash or anything really and spam Helltides events for gear 😁
yes :) 2h deal more damage and considering the Rupture explosion is basically our only AoE, we want to make sure it goes as high as possible, plus of course polearms increase our lucky hit chance so it helps with resets as well ^^
Looking good. I thought I was the only one using a polearm out there. I like it more for the lucky hit chance, but it’s a solid choice, I even double down and have it as mastery. Still think you are missing out on Skullbreaker, (and ofc getting stun procs instead of spreading them out). Even if you want to do different effects, try and get the ones that immobilize (freeze, stun, knockdown) over the lighter ones (slow, daze,…). A hard cc staggers a boss way more than a soft one.

In your description you say you make "controller friendly" builds, so I want to ask to you: is there any version of low cost early game build (50-100, leveling glyphs) that DON'T use leap? I'm tired of looking and the only builds I found without this damn skill is high endgame optimized builds :(. Come on, I can't be the only console player that hates how Leap vault above enemies to hit and empty space so often using controller. If leap was just a mobility skill, fine, but all the guides and builds use it to proc things and so on
Hey mate 😁 thanks for the comment ☺️ To be honest, I personally level up with double swing + shouts. It is so nicely braindead now with the dust devils 😂 perfect for just chill leveling. Just slap on all the dust devil items and aspects, accelerating for attack speed and some defensive aspects and general DPS aspects like edge master etc and you are good to go 😁 Leap can be used on a controller, but yeah it can be clunky 🙈 you can replace it with charge and ancestral charge aspect for zooming around as well 😁
Hey man, awesome video and build. Been running something similar and it's a great build, the only weakness is AoE. Been brainstorming and was thinking about dual wielding with Ramaladni. You thought about it or tried it before? I'm farming gear now but the thought is that it should be similar single target or maybe even a big better, but the roughly 100% increase in damage will also apply to rupture bleed for double aoe damage.
Unfortunately Ramaladni, even though it is my favourite weapon, cannot outperform aspect together with flay duration affix. And Rend this season is bad because we got no tempers to increase its damage :( well all core skills are bad you could say as no core skill got temper to boost its damage.
@@Lunatalli Hmm. I mean if you have flay duration on all other weapons the 1 hander is only 15% more duration/damage. (Not counting rupture stuff) Element aspect is pretty weak too so happy to drop that. Obviously you lose some stats and have to pick up some fury on board, but it's nearly 100% more damage. Plus it doubles your aoe damage from rupture bleed, not just flay. Sounds worth it to me on paper

@@DmitryReshitko Hey man, I've finished the season and moved on to other games but made the dual wield setup and think it's great. With rage of harrogath and ranks to rupture in my helm/cd reduction I can just spam rupture on a group really quickly and it melts them. (I stacked strength to get the aoe bleed up) I only pushed to pit 115 cause I got bored, but I'm sure it could do 130+. I just used flay/rupture and didn't try rend. If using rend you want to use grandfather, but single target will take a dip.

Nice mate! Yeah, keep them stacked with chains and vulnerable and spam rupture :D I basically have my flay pressed at all times haha. And of course shouts on 100% uptime 💪🏻

And thank you for the comment! 😁 300% berserking for the blood rage. After that, we basically focus on vuln and CSD. Vulnerable on all items as base affix and crit damage as tempers (to squeeze out the most) or adjust based on available gear to you (that is what I am doing as perfect gear is hard to get 😁). I think the ratio of vulnerable to crit to be around 1:2 😁 around 1000% vulnerable for sure is what we want
My gear is only 8/12 masterwork and completely random at that. Far from min maxed and as you can see in my “boss slayer” video, we one shot them even while carrying 3 other people 😁

Could you use undying on the legs instead of might for constant healing? Also how important is Harrogath? Could we not get more tankiness with a regular one and use Yens for resetting CD?
Harrogath is definitely more value for resetting CDs than Yen's as Harrogath has no cooldown on it nad one rupture resets the CD of everything in AoE 💪 Undying I personally want to test as well, but that would cost us 20% DR, so that is something you would not do, unless you manage to get 2x3 imposing presence and max life on all weapons to reach 80k+ hp before the quest elixir. I think with superb gear, it might make the playthrough even smoother ^^
The crit chance is conditional, meaning it does not work for gushing wounds unfortunately 🥲 So stacking damage while also keeping the axe damage increase vs vulnerable is pretty much always the best and only choice we have
Tested it and retribution was less damage in the long run. Basically what happened was that I did less damage the whole time and then during stagger it skyrocketed. If we could stagger the boss in a few seconds? Then for sure! But ... I did around 10 run with elements vs 10 runs with retribution and the outcome was always the same. BUT! If you want to use it, then replacing elements is defo the way :)
Hey! :) leveling up I usually recommend DS with tornados or Bash, those are the easiest to get rolling ^^ flay or bleeds in general are not evry good for leveling
How does this reach resist cap? Also do you need GA resist all on boots and to hit chest with resist all to be able to make the resist cap? Armor in stuck at 8K now sure how to hit cap there, or is that because of all the Str GA getting you there? So many holes to find a fix.
I reach resist cap with soothing spices 😁 for farming lower pits (100s) I don’t even bother with incenses though, only for pushing. I have 1x GA res on boots and normal res on pants and I am at 65% atm. We can definitely cap with double GA resistance 💪🏻 but it is hard to get such items. For armor you just need 1x armor roll on items. I am at 10000 armor atm, going over the cap due to my STR
@@Lunatalli thanks for taking the time to respond I appreciate it! I have a GA resist all on my chest, an 1,500 ish armor rolled anywhere but boots I believe. With all diamonds I’m still only reaching 48%. Armor cap is what really got me down at the moment I’ll have to find a GA boots I guess to smooth me out over cap. I haven’t upgraded any gear yet so that might help a ton. Just out this together yesterday and still smoothing out the build. You got amazing gear (on current video) I’m jelly! Also why willpower on pants? What’s the reasoning?

I always wondered why Rob uses the tooltip crit damage that gets multiplied with Grandfather. I even tested GF again for S4, to make sure it doesn't push additive crit. Still he's using it on every of his bleed builds, so I thought there is maybe another bugged interaction with GF 🤔
It is a common misconception that I had in the past as well till I was told otherwise by pages and pages of tests from Prof. Sloth 😂 So I am in the same boat as you, no idea why would Rob do that. Probably he just does not have access to the tests as he is mostly just a player / content creator who tests / uses builds of others and make videos about them. Not as much a builder or tester himself. But I think he is playing Bash Bleed? And also holy bolts. Grandfather is monstrous for those builds ^^
@@Lunatalli yeah, I think maybe it double-dips with Holy Bolt? For this maxed out Bash Barb I think it even makes sense to skip another 460% Bash Cleave (1/3 of total max) and use GF. This should be another 100% instead of 50% boost on Berserk Ripping (with potential 100% crit). Usually he converges to the best possible setup, but he constantly mentioning the 5k tooltip crit chance is so confusing 😅
@Lunatalli so I finally sat down and tested it myself... and Gushing Wounds IS scaling with the tooltip damage, so it does actually take your additive crit AND your multiplicative crit into account! Data is pretty clear, 11x instead of 6x 😱 I did the test because Wudijo mentioned that Victimize scales with tooltip vulnerable damage as well!

@@mcvc69 Flay applies vulnerable on its own, but we should use steel grasp whenever we are not berserking for sure, I am just noob 😂😂 I just turn my brain off and have Flay pressed down, waiting for the golden border around Rupture for Wanton Aspect ^^

For barb? Hard to say, I don’t think thorns is unbeatable. Flay has so much damage, you can even one shot 500k hp thorns. “One shot” 😂 Just gotta live long enough to stack the bleeds and then see the magic haha I’d say 100% dodge rogues are pretty strong, it is kinda … eh :D when you can’t even hit them. Pretty much only FW Sorc counters that as FW can’t be dodged

Exactly! I am so glad someone so good is using my build to push the pit! 😍 I hope he checked the paragon boards as the early release of my build did not include those and he is missing almost 30% DR as well as 6th glyph while gaining nothing in return in his 😱 Which is a shame

Im working on a Rend build right now , because I love Rend. How much damage am I losing if I disregard critical strike all together and just pile on the vulnerable for hemorrhage? That clears up a lot of spots on rings and such that I would normally have critical strike chance.
Hey! The main source of damage for bleeds is now gushing wounds and so without critical, the build wouldn’t really work as it did in the past (the math seem to have changed and both Unconstrained and Unbridled Rage are very lackluster). So really high crit chance and then a balance between vulnerable and crit damage is the best ☺️
maybe i didnt catch that sorry if i missed it. Whats the best build for the Endgame? is it with Rallying cry or with iron Skin? ( Asking cuz i iam for the highest possible ) . Just searching a new build right now , and have 30billions to invest .
The Iron Skin one to be able to play conceited aspect, which is the most beneficial one together with pumping all points in war cry and slaying strikes 😁

But just in comparison when i See this build capable doing 140+ , and im dying in 80-90 ( ofc im at 45 % all ress only ) , im just thinking i shouldnt have that much of a Problem maybe ? Its a bit demotivating for me to keep farming for the gear when i have such troubles :P

We sure can if you get double GA resistances on items and/or triple masterwork the ones on boots. I intentionally left it out to squeeze out more DR from the board as DR we cannot get, but resistances we can get with incense 😁
Oh yeah, it is a boss killer! 😍 I wish Rend got some love as well (maybe combination of temper Rend duration + Rend size) as it is so satisfying to make everyone bleed in AoE
Hey! I use it to reach paragon nodes giving me damage reduction :) but you can definitely play Strength instead for more damage once you get good enough gear and high enough HP ^^
Yep. But druid can be lvl 1 with no tempers, that one is easy :D rogue is worse. You can also get willpower from gear sockets, but losing that sweet extra life? No way :D
also short question where the big dmg comes from? so its comming from the overpower rupture... so is it maybe possible to go a bit for overpower dmg? and armor cap is reached with 1 armor perk withour GA?
Hey! The damage comes from, well, balancing the right stats, aspects that give us a lot of damage and of course the paragon board ☺️ the armor cap has been reduced to 9250 across the board so it is quite easy to reach this season 😍

@@Dulski382 unfortunately only the initial damage (the thrust) of rupture overpowers, which is negligible damage. Would be ultra sick of the bleed consuming could OP ahahaha. We would hit for trillions
Basically get either crit or vulnerable and then get the other on rogue (rogue has tempers for both). Basically the lest crit chance you have, the more vulnerable gets value and vice versa, but vulnerable is also our additive boosting the base damage, so Aim to have around 900-1000 with semi good gear before dumping it into CSD 😁
Give the weapon to a rogue that has the temper manual unlocked for it. That is the way I do it. Edit: yes I forgot to mention that you need to do so on your own rogue, as once you modify an item it becomes account bound. Thanks for that Lunatalli
Could rend be used instead of flay? Im testing this build at the moment, and single target is crazy, but mobs are slow, especially in pits or if they are armored
Unfortunately Rend, or all core skills for that matter, apart from maybe dust devils DS, is kinda bad as there is no temper boosting it 🥲 I will still focus on making a build with Rend tho once I have gear and masterworks for my flay 😁 But it will be for like … pits 110 farm or something like that as the single target is simply faaaaaar behind flay. Definitely not for super high pushing like Flay. If you are not pushing, but just want to farm 100s for materials, Holy Bolts elixir is your friend together with berserk ripping. I will make a video about it today 💪🏻

@@joshnovak480 but due to 1H doing less damage and thus lower damage on the explosion from Rupture .. better to just select polearm for both. Unlucky we can’t have polearm and 2H sword 😂 that would be sick. You could have polearm set to flay and 2H sword for rupture to get that extra 30%(x) after killing a bleeding enemy
Hey! I think it is one of the better builds to take against thorns Barbs as it can hit as high as 400k Rupture against them 😁 make sure to check the scroll up menu though to check the PvP version as you need at least 200k HP in PvP to not die to one shot
It is kinda optional, but sometimes there are ranged mobs and so getting tough as nails to apply bleeds in ranged which is our most stacked DR is juicy 🥰 but you can always just pull enemies will with steel grasp and thus put those 2 points into more rallying cry for damage 💪🏻
I haven't played Bash this season, but if you are playing Bash bleed, you should still get vulnerable in to get Hemo Legendary node multiplier ^^ you always hit kind of ... diminishing returns if you just stack one of those ^^
@@wilmygonzalez5715 actually? I just stand there and eat the hit haha. Unless I know it is one of those harder hitting ones, because I have 60k hp full buffed when my planner has 52k hp unbuffed 😂 should be sitting at 85k ish without an elixir.
Shako is massive DPS increase. With how easy we can get all ubers through the seasonal questline (repeatable on multiple characters), I recommend you farming for it first ^^
@Lunatalli I like it! However for folks that don't have a Shacko. If we wanted to optimize a different helm unique or normal legendary what aspects or unique would you choose? 🤔
@@IRORSCHACH then I would go with normal helmet to get even more presence passive stacks and I’d put either aspect of might or iron warrior on it based on what build variation you are playing to get the DR 😁
The GF + GW synergy as well as HH + GW is actually working since S0 😁 it’s the rest of the GW that got fixed 💪🏻 because previously it worked as just a little additive instead of multi. Meta was considered bash (for the GF synergy you are taking about), but flay or simply “OG bleeds” as I call them were not 😁 You don’t even want to use GF for this btw, GF is a monstrous DPS loss.
Man I can obviously feel you haven't tried real high pits yet. Iron skin is mandatory for the playstyle, you can't really push the pit gauge without tanking 10+ elites. and bosses easily outdps your heal from shouts so you'll eventually dry out. IMO, you should prove it if you wanna say "best" otherwise you are a clickbaiter. I can also find minor false optimizations and info here and there
Thanks for the comment 💪🏻 only did T125 so far and survivability with no iron skin and 55k was zero issue if you avoid boss mechanics, which is a dps loss tho, but pit 125 even Lilith razors I lived through, so 100k HP is definitely optimal 💪🏻 once I get there, I can make further optimisation to survivability, which is exactly what my video suggests and why iron skin as well as PvP variant is included 😍 Thanks for the input and I love your gameplays! Makes me happy to see variation of my build in action 😍 Unfortunately I only have time to play 1-2 hours a day, so very slow on getting any gear, my gear isn’t even masterworked so that puts me back a lot 🥲
@@vish1339 @kingpin8978 Make sure to check the planner in the guide video again maxroll.gg/d4/planner/8cgjh0w7 You are missing almost 25% DR on your board for no reason as well as the 6th glyph for a minimal gain in HP (Check the scroll up menus for paragon boards, you can get even more HP while keeping 6 glyphs AND also the DR), which calculates to a lower EHP (effective HP) than the DR. Your skill and my build making? World record in no time 💪💪 Hope it helps you further optimise!

Always happy to have people helping with algorithm 😍 Just to clarify, I never said I did research myself, I have friends from the official discord basically working for blizzard who send me tests and findings that I then use to optimise builds 😁 99% of my work is putting the right items together based on their tests and putting together super min maxed paragon boards 😁 feel free to use them! Me not pushing does not change the fact that on paper mine have more DR as well as damage on them thanks to thousands of hours of doing only boards for the community 🥰 and even players like King Pix can push even higher with further optimisation 😱 So, what you are seeing here is MY build. You can ask the people who are rocking it for almost 2 weeks now after I shared it with a selected few to help me test it as I have hardly time to play an hour a day, that is why I am not even really pushing as my gear is not even masterworked 🥲 That does not mean no one else can access the findings and come up with a similar idea 💪🏻 Once again thanks for the comment my friend, hope to see you again soon 🥰 You are right that mechanically I suck :D I even say so in most of my videos :D not one bit ashamed of it
Hey mate! Not from what I have tested so far. I am at 20 seconds duration and even just 30% increase on a wep with more vulnerable skyrocketed me from 16b to 33b. If I manage to hit crit on flay duration through masterworking, I will be able to test further 💪🏻
Bleed builds are and always have been the most scaling builds in the game. What that means is every little piece of gear skyrockets your damage 😁 I am hitting 40B+ in the Pit atm, so you are probably still missing a lot in terms of tempers, masterwork (tho I have random or even just 8/12 masterworks myself) etc.
@Lunatalli I've just played Rouge for 4 hrs,got Marksman Criticsl Strike Damage temper but when I switched to Barbarian still can't see this?please help,or it have to be a different temper?
The official information I have from the D4 testers is that GF still works the same as previous seasons ( what you see is just a character sheet bug ). I don’t run most tests by myself though so just forwarding the info 🥰 It is still a must have weapon for non-bleed builds tho as it’s str8 up double damage when you crit and works wonders for holy bolts as well 💪🏻

Hey, those can’t be inserted as the planner on maxroll does not let you add tempers coming from rogue 😅 so it is crit strike damage or vulnerable based on how your balancing and crit chance is in your build ☺️

Nightmare dungeon bosses die in under 2 seconds, pit bosses are worse, but still kinda chill 😂 my top is atm t125 pit and now I feel like I need to actuallly get the items from my planner and play better to continue further

Not hard to come up with the same builds though if you have access to the same sheets and informations from official testers for interactions 😁 that is why you could say that build = paragon board and nothing else :D
You realize D4 has like 4 builds per class? This isn't LE or PoE. I also came up with this toying around by myself with a few difference obviously. Major streamers are generally better in that they have 10h+ per day to go around optimising the build and making videos, most people don't. Besides, you can maybe determine who makes a build popular, but you certainly cannot tell who came with the idea first. And beyond that, builds improve by many people taking a look at them and trying different things. If he tried to present King Pig or Rob Flay builds 1:1 without referencing them, you'd have a point, but it's clearly not the same thin. We can't go around accusing people of plagiarising everytime flay/shouts/rupture are combined. It's one of the most obvious combo of skills on Barbarian.
Literally can’t comprehend how gf can do less damage. GW scales of crit damage and GF doubles crit damage so therefore GW does much more with GF so how is it 40-50% less damage
Hey! As I explain in the video, just the flay duration temper itself already makes up for the loss of GF, also I explain that GF does not double crit damage (was officially tested to be just character sheet bug), it is just a str8 up x2 damage when you crit, but the additive does not increase. Keep in mind it wasn’t me who tested it, but it was tested by pretty much official stuff, so I am using their info. And of course rupture on 13 sec cooldown basically means even more than 40% less damage for GF, more like 90% haha

Sounds fun, but every video showcasing a build needs to have a 1-2 minutes of gameplay showing how the build performs. Please add gameplay in future build videos. If the video is already 28 minute long and you feel like it would make it too long, surely you can cut somewhere else and get to the point.

I can give you some insight into this build or something similar cuz I put something up together last night. Before that I was playing Bash Barb, and I’m currently sitting at 102 Pit tier unlocked with it. I just wanna do tier 100 and then I’ll go back down to farm as I’m not interested with pushing it.
The Flay bleed does insane damage to bosses, last night I did all the Uber bosses except Lilith and Beast in Ice cuz their phases got me😂 as far as Pit Pushing, I was getting decimated at tier 96 with the Flay build idk why because I had relatively the same items and similar stats as far as resistances. The only thing I can think of is that the Flay build doesn’t have the same amount of CC as Bash does to keep mobs stun-locked and also has a slightly harder time to build Fortify. So if you’re trying to push content, you might struggle. That being said, even with subpar items, you will be able to do all the Uber bosses with the Flay build. Just Flay to build up the bleeds then 2 Ruptures will kill all of them.

Hey! 🥰 I personally like AS more than CDR, even tho CDR is definitely a good choice! Because AS helps with DPS while also helping with CDR by procing hectic faster and by procing harrogath more due to more attacks per second :) as most of the build: "A lot of the items can be interchanged based on what you were lucky to get" :)
For example if you get triple GA weapons with CSD, you will not blindly get CSD tempers, because they roll higher, because then you would have no Vulnerable, nor will you use only 1x GA item with vulnerable instead, It is all about adjusting around the gear available to you 💪
Nice vid man. Been looking to try out a bleed build so this will be fun. I have Rage chest but I am basically fresh level 100 for the first time playing this game. Will this build work without good gear while I try to farm better gear or would you suggest sticking with a more basic Bash build until I get gear more suitable for your build?
Truth be told? Bash is so easy to get rolling that I would stick with bash for a bit. If you can check my previous videos, you can see that just a better rolled weapon and slightly better aspect made me go from 16B to 33B damage. Bleeds are the most gear heavy in the game unfortunately and even a tiny bit can double the damage 🙈 they have the highest scaling
So for now I would chill with bash or anything really and spam Helltides events for gear 😁

yes :) 2h deal more damage and considering the Rupture explosion is basically our only AoE, we want to make sure it goes as high as possible, plus of course polearms increase our lucky hit chance so it helps with resets as well ^^

Looking good. I thought I was the only one using a polearm out there. I like it more for the lucky hit chance, but it’s a solid choice, I even double down and have it as mastery.
Still think you are missing out on Skullbreaker, (and ofc getting stun procs instead of spreading them out). Even if you want to do different effects, try and get the ones that immobilize (freeze, stun, knockdown) over the lighter ones (slow, daze,…). A hard cc staggers a boss way more than a soft one.

In your description you say you make "controller friendly" builds, so I want to ask to you: is there any version of low cost early game build (50-100, leveling glyphs) that DON'T use leap? I'm tired of looking and the only builds I found without this damn skill is high endgame optimized builds :(. Come on, I can't be the only console player that hates how Leap vault above enemies to hit and empty space so often using controller. If leap was just a mobility skill, fine, but all the guides and builds use it to proc things and so on

To be honest, I personally level up with double swing + shouts. It is so nicely braindead now with the dust devils 😂 perfect for just chill leveling. Just slap on all the dust devil items and aspects, accelerating for attack speed and some defensive aspects and general DPS aspects like edge master etc and you are good to go 😁
Leap can be used on a controller, but yeah it can be clunky 🙈 you can replace it with charge and ancestral charge aspect for zooming around as well 😁

Hey man, awesome video and build. Been running something similar and it's a great build, the only weakness is AoE. Been brainstorming and was thinking about dual wielding with Ramaladni. You thought about it or tried it before? I'm farming gear now but the thought is that it should be similar single target or maybe even a big better, but the roughly 100% increase in damage will also apply to rupture bleed for double aoe damage.
Unfortunately Ramaladni, even though it is my favourite weapon, cannot outperform aspect together with flay duration affix. And Rend this season is bad because we got no tempers to increase its damage :( well all core skills are bad you could say as no core skill got temper to boost its damage.
@@Lunatalli Hmm. I mean if you have flay duration on all other weapons the 1 hander is only 15% more duration/damage. (Not counting rupture stuff) Element aspect is pretty weak too so happy to drop that. Obviously you lose some stats and have to pick up some fury on board, but it's nearly 100% more damage. Plus it doubles your aoe damage from rupture bleed, not just flay. Sounds worth it to me on paper

@@DmitryReshitko Hey man, I've finished the season and moved on to other games but made the dual wield setup and think it's great. With rage of harrogath and ranks to rupture in my helm/cd reduction I can just spam rupture on a group really quickly and it melts them. (I stacked strength to get the aoe bleed up) I only pushed to pit 115 cause I got bored, but I'm sure it could do 130+. I just used flay/rupture and didn't try rend. If using rend you want to use grandfather, but single target will take a dip.

And thank you for the comment! 😁 300% berserking for the blood rage. After that, we basically focus on vuln and CSD. Vulnerable on all items as base affix and crit damage as tempers (to squeeze out the most) or adjust based on available gear to you (that is what I am doing as perfect gear is hard to get 😁). I think the ratio of vulnerable to crit to be around 1:2 😁 around 1000% vulnerable for sure is what we want
How early in this build can we beat tormented bosses? Does the gear need to be all masterworked and min maxed?
My gear is only 8/12 masterwork and completely random at that. Far from min maxed and as you can see in my “boss slayer” video, we one shot them even while carrying 3 other people 😁

Could you use undying on the legs instead of might for constant healing? Also how important is Harrogath? Could we not get more tankiness with a regular one and use Yens for resetting CD?
Harrogath is definitely more value for resetting CDs than Yen's as Harrogath has no cooldown on it nad one rupture resets the CD of everything in AoE 💪
Undying I personally want to test as well, but that would cost us 20% DR, so that is something you would not do, unless you manage to get 2x3 imposing presence and max life on all weapons to reach 80k+ hp before the quest elixir. I think with superb gear, it might make the playthrough even smoother ^^
Why polearm over 2h axe? Isn't 10% crit chance to vulnerable better?
The crit chance is conditional, meaning it does not work for gushing wounds unfortunately 🥲
So stacking damage while also keeping the axe damage increase vs vulnerable is pretty much always the best and only choice we have
Any thoughts on adding retribution? Its so bugged for double dipping on dot builds. Maybe switch out with elements?
Tested it and retribution was less damage in the long run. Basically what happened was that I did less damage the whole time and then during stagger it skyrocketed. If we could stagger the boss in a few seconds? Then for sure! But ... I did around 10 run with elements vs 10 runs with retribution and the outcome was always the same. BUT! If you want to use it, then replacing elements is defo the way :)

Hey! :) leveling up I usually recommend DS with tornados or Bash, those are the easiest to get rolling ^^ flay or bleeds in general are not evry good for leveling

How does this reach resist cap? Also do you need GA resist all on boots and to hit chest with resist all to be able to make the resist cap? Armor in stuck at 8K now sure how to hit cap there, or is that because of all the Str GA getting you there? So many holes to find a fix.
I reach resist cap with soothing spices 😁 for farming lower pits (100s) I don’t even bother with incenses though, only for pushing. I have 1x GA res on boots and normal res on pants and I am at 65% atm. We can definitely cap with double GA resistance 💪🏻 but it is hard to get such items. For armor you just need 1x armor roll on items. I am at 10000 armor atm, going over the cap due to my STR

With all diamonds I’m still only reaching 48%. Armor cap is what really got me down at the moment I’ll have to find a GA boots I guess to smooth me out over cap. I haven’t upgraded any gear yet so that might help a ton. Just out this together yesterday and still smoothing out the build. You got amazing gear (on current video) I’m jelly!

I always wondered why Rob uses the tooltip crit damage that gets multiplied with Grandfather. I even tested GF again for S4, to make sure it doesn't push additive crit. Still he's using it on every of his bleed builds, so I thought there is maybe another bugged interaction with GF 🤔
It is a common misconception that I had in the past as well till I was told otherwise by pages and pages of tests from Prof. Sloth 😂
So I am in the same boat as you, no idea why would Rob do that. Probably he just does not have access to the tests as he is mostly just a player / content creator who tests / uses builds of others and make videos about them. Not as much a builder or tester himself. But I think he is playing Bash Bleed? And also holy bolts. Grandfather is monstrous for those builds ^^
@@Lunatalli yeah, I think maybe it double-dips with Holy Bolt? For this maxed out Bash Barb I think it even makes sense to skip another 460% Bash Cleave (1/3 of total max) and use GF. This should be another 100% instead of 50% boost on Berserk Ripping (with potential 100% crit). Usually he converges to the best possible setup, but he constantly mentioning the 5k tooltip crit chance is so confusing 😅
@Lunatalli so I finally sat down and tested it myself... and Gushing Wounds IS scaling with the tooltip damage, so it does actually take your additive crit AND your multiplicative crit into account! Data is pretty clear, 11x instead of 6x 😱
I did the test because Wudijo mentioned that Victimize scales with tooltip vulnerable damage as well!
What elixir you used to fight these bosses in the video ? Attack speed or holy bolt ?
Most of the time I use the crit strike chance one 😁 holy bolts only for farming lower tiers (it is giga busted there)

@@mcvc69 Flay applies vulnerable on its own, but we should use steel grasp whenever we are not berserking for sure, I am just noob 😂😂 I just turn my brain off and have Flay pressed down, waiting for the golden border around Rupture for Wanton Aspect ^^

For barb? Hard to say, I don’t think thorns is unbeatable. Flay has so much damage, you can even one shot 500k hp thorns. “One shot” 😂
Just gotta live long enough to stack the bleeds and then see the magic haha
I’d say 100% dodge rogues are pretty strong, it is kinda … eh :D when you can’t even hit them. Pretty much only FW Sorc counters that as FW can’t be dodged

Im working on a Rend build right now , because I love Rend. How much damage am I losing if I disregard critical strike all together and just pile on the vulnerable for hemorrhage? That clears up a lot of spots on rings and such that I would normally have critical strike chance.
Hey! The main source of damage for bleeds is now gushing wounds and so without critical, the build wouldn’t really work as it did in the past (the math seem to have changed and both Unconstrained and Unbridled Rage are very lackluster).
So really high crit chance and then a balance between vulnerable and crit damage is the best ☺️

The Iron Skin one to be able to play conceited aspect, which is the most beneficial one together with pumping all points in war cry and slaying strikes 😁

We sure can if you get double GA resistances on items and/or triple masterwork the ones on boots. I intentionally left it out to squeeze out more DR from the board as DR we cannot get, but resistances we can get with incense 😁
just finished gearing for this build. it completely destroys bosses in seconds, but the clear quality and speed are very averga so pick your poison!
Oh yeah, it is a boss killer! 😍 I wish Rend got some love as well (maybe combination of temper Rend duration + Rend size) as it is so satisfying to make everyone bleed in AoE

Hey! I use it to reach paragon nodes giving me damage reduction :) but you can definitely play Strength instead for more damage once you get good enough gear and high enough HP ^^
So you need a rogue and druid for willpower and crit rolls?
Yep. But druid can be lvl 1 with no tempers, that one is easy :D rogue is worse. You can also get willpower from gear sockets, but losing that sweet extra life? No way :D
also short question where the big dmg comes from? so its comming from the overpower rupture... so is it maybe possible to go a bit for overpower dmg?
and armor cap is reached with 1 armor perk withour GA?
Hey! The damage comes from, well, balancing the right stats, aspects that give us a lot of damage and of course the paragon board ☺️ the armor cap has been reduced to 9250 across the board so it is quite easy to reach this season 😍

So are you saying get vulnerable on gear then use your rogue to temper crit on it?
Basically get either crit or vulnerable and then get the other on rogue (rogue has tempers for both). Basically the lest crit chance you have, the more vulnerable gets value and vice versa, but vulnerable is also our additive boosting the base damage, so Aim to have around 900-1000 with semi good gear before dumping it into CSD 😁

Give the weapon to a rogue that has the temper manual unlocked for it. That is the way I do it.

Unfortunately Rend, or all core skills for that matter, apart from maybe dust devils DS, is kinda bad as there is no temper boosting it 🥲
I will still focus on making a build with Rend tho once I have gear and masterworks for my flay 😁
But it will be for like … pits 110 farm or something like that as the single target is simply faaaaaar behind flay.
Definitely not for super high pushing like Flay. If you are not pushing, but just want to farm 100s for materials, Holy Bolts elixir is your friend together with berserk ripping. I will make a video about it today 💪🏻

@@joshnovak480 but due to 1H doing less damage and thus lower damage on the explosion from Rupture .. better to just select polearm for both. Unlucky we can’t have polearm and 2H sword 😂 that would be sick. You could have polearm set to flay and 2H sword for rupture to get that extra 30%(x) after killing a bleeding enemy

Hey! I think it is one of the better builds to take against thorns Barbs as it can hit as high as 400k Rupture against them 😁 make sure to check the scroll up menu though to check the PvP version as you need at least 200k HP in PvP to not die to one shot

hey you have Thorns on your armor, so you really need tough as nails than?
It is kinda optional, but sometimes there are ranged mobs and so getting tough as nails to apply bleeds in ranged which is our most stacked DR is juicy 🥰 but you can always just pull enemies will with steel grasp and thus put those 2 points into more rallying cry for damage 💪🏻

@@Lunatalli Or you can temper tough as nails on your gloves and save the 2 points since the lucky hit stuff is minimal for stagger build up.
Is it that bash bleed builds needs crit and flay needs more vulnerable?
I haven't played Bash this season, but if you are playing Bash bleed, you should still get vulnerable in to get Hemo Legendary node multiplier ^^ you always hit kind of ... diminishing returns if you just stack one of those ^^

What I do not understand is , if the build is based on vulnerable damage why critical strike change and critical damage is needed

@@wilmygonzalez5715 actually? I just stand there and eat the hit haha. Unless I know it is one of those harder hitting ones, because I have 60k hp full buffed when my planner has 52k hp unbuffed 😂 should be sitting at 85k ish without an elixir.

Shako is massive DPS increase. With how easy we can get all ubers through the seasonal questline (repeatable on multiple characters), I recommend you farming for it first ^^
I have GA cut to the bone ammy crit chance so this thinking if i should keep it or sell now seeing this build.

@@IRORSCHACH then I would go with normal helmet to get even more presence passive stacks and I’d put either aspect of might or iron warrior on it based on what build variation you are playing to get the DR 😁
It's not off meta btw it's been use since the start to get high tier since a chinese player found out about GF + GW synergy...
The GF + GW synergy as well as HH + GW is actually working since S0 😁 it’s the rest of the GW that got fixed 💪🏻 because previously it worked as just a little additive instead of multi.
Meta was considered bash (for the GF synergy you are taking about), but flay or simply “OG bleeds” as I call them were not 😁
You don’t even want to use GF for this btw, GF is a monstrous DPS loss.
Man I can obviously feel you haven't tried real high pits yet. Iron skin is mandatory for the playstyle, you can't really push the pit gauge without tanking 10+ elites. and bosses easily outdps your heal from shouts so you'll eventually dry out. IMO, you should prove it if you wanna say "best" otherwise you are a clickbaiter.
I can also find minor false optimizations and info here and there
Thanks for the comment 💪🏻 only did T125 so far and survivability with no iron skin and 55k was zero issue if you avoid boss mechanics, which is a dps loss tho, but pit 125 even Lilith razors I lived through, so 100k HP is definitely optimal 💪🏻 once I get there, I can make further optimisation to survivability, which is exactly what my video suggests and why iron skin as well as PvP variant is included 😍

You are missing almost 25% DR on your board for no reason as well as the 6th glyph for a minimal gain in HP (Check the scroll up menus for paragon boards, you can get even more HP while keeping 6 glyphs AND also the DR), which calculates to a lower EHP (effective HP) than the DR.

Just to clarify, I never said I did research myself, I have friends from the official discord basically working for blizzard who send me tests and findings that I then use to optimise builds 😁
99% of my work is putting the right items together based on their tests and putting together super min maxed paragon boards 😁 feel free to use them! Me not pushing does not change the fact that on paper mine have more DR as well as damage on them thanks to thousands of hours of doing only boards for the community 🥰 and even players like King Pix can push even higher with further optimisation 😱
So, what you are seeing here is MY build. You can ask the people who are rocking it for almost 2 weeks now after I shared it with a selected few to help me test it as I have hardly time to play an hour a day, that is why I am not even really pushing as my gear is not even masterworked 🥲
That does not mean no one else can access the findings and come up with a similar idea 💪🏻

Hey mate! Not from what I have tested so far. I am at 20 seconds duration and even just 30% increase on a wep with more vulnerable skyrocketed me from 16b to 33b. If I manage to hit crit on flay duration through masterworking, I will be able to test further 💪🏻

Bleed builds are and always have been the most scaling builds in the game. What that means is every little piece of gear skyrockets your damage 😁 I am hitting 40B+ in the Pit atm, so you are probably still missing a lot in terms of tempers, masterwork (tho I have random or even just 8/12 masterworks myself) etc.
I'm missing Critical Strike Damage in my temper?I'm 100 level and have all temper except that one.why?please help?

The official information I have from the D4 testers is that GF still works the same as previous seasons ( what you see is just a character sheet bug ). I don’t run most tests by myself though so just forwarding the info 🥰
It is still a must have weapon for non-bleed builds tho as it’s str8 up double damage when you crit and works wonders for holy bolts as well 💪🏻

ur planner has missing things like some of the weapons miss tempering
Hey, those can’t be inserted as the planner on maxroll does not let you add tempers coming from rogue 😅 so it is crit strike damage or vulnerable based on how your balancing and crit chance is in your build ☺️

Problem with this build is clearing to the bosses in Pit or NM
Nightmare dungeon bosses die in under 2 seconds, pit bosses are worse, but still kinda chill 😂 my top is atm t125 pit and now I feel like I need to actuallly get the items from my planner and play better to continue further

thanks for the comment, no idea who that is even 😂 working on this build for almost 2 weeks now with a small group of friends. Not hard to come up with the same builds though if you have access to the same sheets and informations from official testers for interactions 😁 that is why you could say that build = paragon board and nothing else :D
You realize D4 has like 4 builds per class? This isn't LE or PoE. I also came up with this toying around by myself with a few difference obviously.
Major streamers are generally better in that they have 10h+ per day to go around optimising the build and making videos, most people don't.
Besides, you can maybe determine who makes a build popular, but you certainly cannot tell who came with the idea first.
And beyond that, builds improve by many people taking a look at them and trying different things.
If he tried to present King Pig or Rob Flay builds 1:1 without referencing them, you'd have a point, but it's clearly not the same thin.
We can't go around accusing people of plagiarising everytime flay/shouts/rupture are combined. It's one of the most obvious combo of skills on Barbarian.
Literally can’t comprehend how gf can do less damage. GW scales of crit damage and GF doubles crit damage so therefore GW does much more with GF so how is it 40-50% less damage
Hey! As I explain in the video, just the flay duration temper itself already makes up for the loss of GF, also I explain that GF does not double crit damage (was officially tested to be just character sheet bug), it is just a str8 up x2 damage when you crit, but the additive does not increase. Keep in mind it wasn’t me who tested it, but it was tested by pretty much official stuff, so I am using their info. And of course rupture on 13 sec cooldown basically means even more than 40% less damage for GF, more like 90% haha
