I went for a 2 weeks training in IIT Madras and I have seen this issue there. Almost all the resource persons were Brahmins. I asked about the same to one of my friend and he said it is a common trend in IIT Madras. Also I have so many friends there and they all said this issue exist in IITs. This issue is a big problem in IIT Madras. What happened to Fathima who committed suicide in IIT Madras? I have seen how the Brahmin Professors select students in the same community and place them in newly evolving IITs. What he said is 100% true.
With a 2 week programme you won't feel..The issue is with regular students and faculties...It's a fact

Casteism is very high in TN, Andhra, Telangana. I studied in Chennai. Found that among Telugu students, only Reddy stays with Reddys. Even the fan following for the Telugu movie stars are based on caste. Also not a secret that Brahmins/Iyers gets priority in TN everywhere and not just in one institution. Few of the fellow students who were Brahmin, openly speak about their Brahmanical superiority that they have authority over lower castes/Others.
I have heard several average brahmin students refer to themselves as ' very intelligent ' . Brahmins act like Govt institutions are their family property. ' Poor brahmin ' is a myth , brahmins got everything free from kings . After independence they occupied all the govt jobs .
Brahmins are mostly poor they get no reservation from government so they need to fight their own way in private companies

You don't know about the caste madness of iyer Iyengar people. If they come to office, they quickly spot other Iyers and create a gang. Then they recruit more people such as their relatives and friends from thr same community. Then they start their work against you. This happens in corporate offices even in Bangalore. They do all their passive aggressive Politics and will make you feel bad everyday that you yourself will exit the company. This happened to me. And this happened to you, Vipin. Everyday they are talking about the greatness of their caste in office. Their names don't have caste surnames but the first sentence they speak will be like this Hi I'm Rahul, I'm a Tamil brahmin. I'm Pooja and I'm a TamBrahm. I have. worked with. a lot of North Indians. They have surnames with their name but they never talk about caste and never ever make you feel you are different. But this Iyer shit heads are caste monsters.

I am in a renowned IT company. In my project, the top level Director is a Tamil Brahmin. He is seen promoting a Tamil Brahmin lady in out project shamelessly. She always gets the best rating during annual review even though she is average. She is given credit for many tasks in which she was never involved but was done by others. The director always speaks about the lady during high level meeting but never mentions others who had put in more effort. She got 2 promotion in very short time. Brahmins supporting brahmins everywhere is the norm. There are some other IT cos, where it is difficult for non-brahmins to get through.

Still remember how a girl who studied with me and failed a few semester papers ended up getting into IIT Chennai for an internship before even clearing the failed papers. At that point, we didn't understand how. But her surname is associated to a so called "superior caste" so now I know why🤦

General category ആയ എനിക്ക് കുട്ടികാലം മുതലേ ദാരിദ്ര്യം ആണ്. ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുളത്തിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും hard working and helpful ആണ് ബ്രാഹ്മിൻസ്. എൻട്രൻസ് examil നല്ല റാങ്ക് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും പണകാരായ റിസർവേഷൻ സ്റ്റുഡന്റസ് എപ്പോളും ഗവണ്മെന്റ് സീറ്റ്‌ കിട്ടും എന്നിട്ടു സുഖിക്കും. ആ സമയത്തു ഞാൻ പ്രൈവറ്റിൽ പഠിച്ചു part time job ചെയ്തും കൂട്ടുകാർ ഇല്ലാതെയും പഠിച്ചു. എപ്പോളും ഒറ്റക് ആണ് ഇതു കാരണം.
