The stalactites that fall from the ceiling screwed up jumps that I couldn't AFFORD to have screwed up. Their presence turned things from "hard" to "ludicrously unfair." Specifically around 10:20, when their quick setoff and the swift crumbling of the platforms meant that I couldn't escape them, fell all the way to the bottom, and drowned...over and over and over and over and over and ALL MY HARD-EARNED LIVES GONE.

Wow this is so fking great!!! I've just recently beaten the game without cheats, this was the hardest level, not because of Aquatis, he is too easy, but I hate those stalactites...

13:16 i didnt know how to throw bombs on further distance,so i always damage my head on those spikes up there,but i defeated the boss anyway xD

Haha, me too. I've reached level 13 and didn't know this. It was my cousin who showed it to me in a previous level and I immediately knew it had to be used for defeating Aquatis.

@DubJendel some of the hardness comes from bugs in the game. Sometimes the stalactites don't fall when they should, and you have an impossible barrier (like 4:56, I need to use invulnerability to get past there)

This game ran on PCs 20 years ago...specs are not a problem. Download v1.4.4.4 from the Claw Recluse site and run it using 'dxwnd' software. There are tutorials available on youtube
