Update: Best Buy is replacing the entire camera and lens (since they were bought together) as part of my two year protection plan, which still has another 8 months left on it! We should have a brand new GH5 by next week.

As someone who took 13 years between upgrades: Upgrade less often, and save up a bit every year. Those little upgrades you *don't* buy for your old rig add up.
Bought my suv for $1100, got an insane deal though, it's actually pretty decent and has optional 4wh drive. Bike was $1800 haha! Tis the way of mtb life.

I've been watching your channel for over a year now. I haven't had a bike at all since my bmx when I was a teenager. You have inspired me to get into riding again. I bought a $40 full suspension bike off a friend from work. It's not the best fit and it needs some work but better on a cheap bike than no bike. Thanks for making such good content.

@@soupersoupmtb3727 Seriously save up a little more for the "Line." It has way better components than the hook for only an extra $100. You'll quickly want to upgrade all those cheaper components on the hook anyway. So, save yourself some money and get the nicer bike.

Same as any business really, the business makes money from photography and videography, and better equipment generally equals better quality photos and videos, thus improving the overall quality of the product, which equals more revenue which pays for the equipment. All forms of business follow this methodology
especially looking at the footage some people make with the new gopro. the price of the gh5+leica is completely ridiculous. (although there always were expensive cameras out there, even 30 years ago in the analog days)
That's actually not that expensive. You need to spend at least $10k to shoot on a RED camera... which some youtubers do.
