Jonni's biceps have been looking massive and cut in the past couple of weeks of videos. The results speak for themselves.
100%. Another suggestion as a pro arm wrestler and bodybuilder is to also use dumbbells on the preacher curl, one arm at a time light and very strict. Taking your time on both parts of the lift getting a great stretch on the bottom. Make sure you maintain your wrist in a neutral position the whole time. This will also help develop the outside of your forearms. It will really help with front lat front side poses.

3 to 5 months in and your arms will be massive. The hammer curls get the forearms and the biceps really good, and you start seeing some veins after a good while.

Shoulder shouldnt go up but if you have to lean into it a little with each arm, like towards the arm, no issue there as long as you arent literally swinging.
My triceps got sore after doing cross-body hammer curls. Do you think it might be because I'm slowly supporting the dumbbell to drop instead of letting it drop immediately? Was my tricipes hit because of it?
How do you feel as tilting your wrists down on the upper half of the movement?
(Knuckles forward at the top essentially, same concept as tilting wrists back at the top of a normal curl)

my left side was overcompensating with shoulders while doing hammer curls which gave me pain, any tip to fix that
Reduce weight
probably a left right imbalance. pretty common for arms. There are standard techniques to fix that.

I can’t explain it, but consciously pushing my elbow down during a curl makes it so much harder and I feel way more tension in the biceps. Any explanation??
same here.. I feel my biceps (and also back) much better, tension and pump-wise, when I do the movements aggressively with a little consistent momentum
when you focus on doing the right movement you are isolating the muscle more, making it feel harder, like he said :D
How many sets and reps?
Two weeks and no replies. A shame.
Alot of evidence concludes you can't go wrong with 3-5 sets, 8-12 reps.
"The research indicates that the ideal movement volume for stimulating muscle growth is between 42 and 66 reps / session. How you break those reps up into sets is totally up to you: 5 x 10, 8 x 6, 42 x 1, etc. - all of these fall between 42 & 66."
