This Auntie Makes Thailand’s BIGGEST Chicken and Rice Challenge!

- For my final challenge in Thailand, I stopped into Sri Leung Pochana in Bangkok to take on their Giant Chicken Rice Challenge. Hungry diners of this historic establishment have just one hour to finish 2 kilos of rice covered in over 1kg of boiled chicken. There are also sides of soup, chicken blood, and cucumbers which are optional. Winners earn their 650 Thai Bhat meal for free and a spot up on the Wall of Fame!

Thank you for advocating to keep an open mind with food that is not what one may be used to. Americans are so close minded when it comes to different cultures food and I love how you respect and treat food you haven’t been exposed to before. Means and does a lot.
lol what? The US has practically every culture of the world here, and we eat and love their food. People just have different tastes. I'm sure there is food here you wouldn't find appetizing.

Outstanding Job Katina! If spicy is rough for you I hope you don't mind this little bit of extra knowledge which you probably already know but just in case, Asian and Indian chilies are some of the hottest in the world. So, if anyone tells you "it's spicy" it is not regular spicy.

Well done Katina. Thai spice has a kick, but it is still SO good. I used to have a Thai landlord and he would sometimes make me dinner after work and it was absolutely delicious but had a nice kick to it.
One of the things I love most about Thai food is that even when it's really spicy (like me, a westerner, orders "Thai Spicy!" on dishes like Som Tam, Kahprao or Green Curry) the flavours of the dish still shine through despite the heat being very powerful. Absolutely one of my favourite cuisines in the whole world.

Thai food be bussin, no cap 🇹🇭❤ There's a Thai restaurant not far from my place that has best pho ever 🍜 I know pho is Vietnamese but even so 👍 They also have amazing chicken satay, curry rice, & samosas! Everything on their menu is loaded with flavour & hella fresh, & they give you healthy portions so you definitely get your money's worth & even some leftovers ❤🤤

i batter chicken blood in cajun chicken fry seasoning by zaterans then fry it up like livers try it! full of awesomness just pre cook the blood then fridge it over night in a mini muffin pan
