Streets of Rage 2: Stage 8 & Ending (Axel, Hard)

So this is it... the final confrontation. You’re strolling down Little Money Avenue (or would be, if that music actually played, here), and soon enough, you end up finding more boss clones: Another hopping robot named Oxygen, and an R. Bear clone named Bear Jr. Must be his son. You have take both of them down to move on.
The next section yet another freaking elevator. It’s the last one in the game, but it’s the hardest. Besides more Kung-fu freaks and punk falling from the sky, you also encounter EVEN MORE BOSS CLONES! A 3rd Barbon called Vulture, a 3rd Zamza named Nail, and even a second Abadede named Z. Kusano!

After you be Kusano, you finally reach the top of the elevator, where Mr. X awaits you. While he’s smoking his invisible cigar, he sends more punks after you to beat up.
When that’s not enough, Mr. X then decides to sic at you his right-hand Max Man, Shiva. He’s practically a playable character on his own her, because his most-damaging move is to grab you, pummel you, vault behind you, and slam you into the ground. Just like you can.
When Shiva’s beaten, Mr. X finally decides to face you himself while also having more punks help him. Well, not really. If he’s gonna shoot his gun, he doesn’t care if the bullets hit his henchmen, too.
He’s so full of himself that he’ll even pause and laugh after knocking you down. “DA-HAHAHAHAHA!”
Put him in his place and GRAND UPPAH HIS FACE!
(I BARELY pulled through here. I was on my last life with no continues by the time I beat X.)

So once again, the Bare Knuckle Brawlers, led by Axel, were able to defeat Mr. X and free the city from his Syndicate’s control.
Also, after the battle, the heroes were able to find their lost comrade and Skate’s big brother, Adam. A reunion was had and victory was reassured.
As the exited the building that Mr. X’s unmoving body was left in , they look to the sky as the sun completes its rise and wave towards a police helicopter that plans to help them clean the rest of the Syndicate’s mess. For now, the Streets of Rage were once again no more...
(Also, this is the only Streets of Rage game with only one single possible ending.)

Thanks for watching this playthrough. I plan to move on into Streets of Rage 3. I know it’s not as liked as 2, here, but between these 3 SoR games, I’ve actually put the most effort into 3 by splitting two full playthroughs down between its Japanese version and its American version. There were many significant changes made between them that I wanna cover, and each version will have its own playlist back-to-back. That way, even though the Japanese version is unedited and uncensored, I can still cover the American version for any US player that grew up with that one and show off what they may have missed from the Japanese version.

I loved how they had different versions of the previous bosses as you progress, especially stage 8 it's a whole party.
