I also reuse my soil! I don't like "throwing out" soil because 1. I'm a broke grad student and 2. it's easier for my disability. I love to see it!
Same the only time I do throw it out is if the soil had pests or if there was rot Bcz I don’t wanna transfer the pests or bacteria to new plants or repotted plants

Hey Harli, always love watching a re-pot! As for used soil, instead of mixing it in with a new batch, I always 're-cycle' it by placing it in my outdoor garden patches where it seems to blend in nicely AND my outdoors garden plants love. That way I'm never wasteful and gives me another opportunity to aerate my garden beds too....WIN/WIN!! 👏🏼💪

Dollar tree girl. For smaller (2"-4") for sure, check party supplies! I got bowls 4 for $1, sturdy, for saucers. And perfect cups for props! They have Hawaiian stuff for summer so they had some the cups I started using that actually had lil monstera leaves on them! Bought me a soldering gun after I saw u use one

Hi Harli, love your CZcams channel for years😊. You can glue a glass candleholder on the small glass plate and use it for a cascading plant. I think it would look beautiful.

It's interesting that you would tear off the leaves instead of pruning & risk some damage to the plant. That golden bougainvillea is like a weed here in TX...almost seems funny you had to mail order one. 😁

Most people I follow usually takes off all the moss from rhe plant before moving it to soil, to avoid root rot

You should! It’s a lot of fun
You can pop your old substrate in the microwave for 3 minutes and let it cool off and then pot something up! You can also add some mycorrhizae to help it liven back up. You could even break a probiotic ito the soil after it cools and mix that up with it too. Actually don't listen to me I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. Miss my plants are suffering right now but it's mostly because of neglect 😂🤣😭🤮

Hi Harli, you mention using sulphur to get rid of mealy bug, do you wash the plant after a few hours or keep the sulphur in.
You sure have beautiful plants.
In my experience, you leave it to dry on the plant and it remains there for a minimum period of time

Ps. I can’t believe that clip holds with just two prongs! I have sturdier clips that lost 1 - 3 prongs and weren’t worth a darn afterwards. Also you hair looks cute like that to me😊

Grow light around 2:00, where was this found?! I need one for a corner in my living room that doesn't get enough light because I have 10 ft long, thick curtains, sheers, ND swooped valances over my huge living room windows. Even pulled back, not enough light reaches where I need it to reach.
