The only faking he was doing here was pretending like he knew what he was doing with that Mexico guess. That was pure luck. Otherwise, it's completely reasonable for a player of his caliber to be able to guess these countries with the amount of information given. There is a lot of meta to this game that can allow you to identify where you are in the world very quickly if you put the time in to memorize it. I'm sure this wasn't his first attempt at it anyways.
