- This cellar hole has never been metal detected before until now.
We have a big permission of land to go metal detecting and at the end of last year we found this old farm abandoned up in the mountains hundreds of years ago. Today we took our metal detector to do some relic hunting and it was better than expected. The place was untouched and there was stuff everywhere in the ground. Coins and relics from the 1700s and very early 1800s buried in the dirt for centuries. It was unreal how many metal detecting targets we were swinging over and just kept digging them up one after another. No doubt this is a colonial site from our early New Hampshire history.

This is definitely my favorite new (to me) metal detecting channel. I love the fact that you are digging really old sites, digging some really old buttons and have good film making skills. Great job guys.

Dame's concave button with hole looks like the end of cap of a pommel or knife handle. Also, I recently saw an illustration of 1700's coats and many dandy Buttons were covered with fabric which is why some are smooth.

Incredible start of the season! Turning back the clock forty years to hunt a virgin site, with modern equipment. Nate, I think your shoe buckle is my favorite of all time. Yes, I want to come back but there can only be one first time.

You guys got a good thing going with your giant permission. It's one thing to try to entertain myself when I go dirt fishing but try to entertain all of CZcams. Getting good permissions is 75% of the battle. Keep up the good work guys.

This place definitely deserves a closer examination. Maybe taking a shaker screen box up there and digging some test pits before it’s cleaned out…

Can't wait till the day you fellas dig up a money/gold/silver hoard that was buried in an iron-strapped/wooded box just two feet down in front of the fireplace. Back in the day, it was under the floor stones or floorboards. Hope you find it.
