JVM is easily one of the most likeable guys playing. He's intense, but also an entertainer. Augie is just going to get better. They will be top three seed in every tournament moving forward. Their kitchen game is amazing. It's also clear that Ben and Collin both enjoyed playing them and respected them.
Hopefully they continue their partnership. Their lefty righty duo is great, Ge is just fantastic and very comfortable with the two hand backhand with a great forehand. Compared to Tellez which always walks around to get the forehand, Augie's backhand is solid
Not sure of Augie and JVM this season as I think they are committed to other partners, but I hope they do become a steady team in the future!! They're VERY good!
What an entertaining game! I am glad that JVM is doing so well with one of my favorite pickleball brand :)
One of the best matches yet. Some better views at times but we would all appreciate The side view of Pickleball more often. Keep progressing the good camera angles PPA.
Why even say “they were not supposed to be here” to Augie and JVM? Lame. They played better than their comp leading up to the final so yes they did deserve to be there. Results > Expectations.
Angie. Honestly I think it's because it's their first time as partners, they are both relatively new to the sport, JMV being known mostly as a singles god and not always getting too far in the Mixed/Gender Doubles draw. And Augie being so new only going Pro this year 2024. It's incredibly that they made it this far, against such veteran players

You’re right it’s a lame thing to do say, they’re not expected to there. They earned to be there. Anybody playing pro pickleball deserved to be there, that’s the reason we’ve top players playing the lower half.

Augie has to get better at the net. He was the weakest link. Silver is a great result for them though.
I think Augie also has the highest ceiling out of all four players.

Please please dont move the camera back and forth and up and down during the point... It makes it very difficult to follow the movement of rhe ball and the players. And after a while it made me seasick.
For live shots, please use a fixed camera that has a clear view of all of the lines without spectators' heads in the way. Then get as fancy and cinematic as you want for replays or highlights or promos. But please just give us a static live shot first.
This sport could keep growing as a spectator sport, but ppn is the public facing side of pro pickleball right now. Its worth investing more in the production quality (almost every upload has some kind of technical issue with video or audio, and all of them have distracting camera movement). People will be more engaged.

They should’ve played patiently rather than lobbing and speed up at very low point…I guess you live and die by the same sword. But that’s a good run for the new teammate. I bet they’ll come back stronger and more exciting duo. 👍👏👏👏
It worked against other teams and their play styles is super effective, John's Brothers played so cautiously and very effective and adaptable. It just isn't gonna work as effectively against the Johns like that.
When was the last time a patient team beat the Johns?
You can’t out patient the Johns. You’ll lose every time.
It took them to a game 4 when most lose in 3 games against the Johns, I'd say it was effective
