Yes Matt, the FIX indeed. For those who couldn't see it, let me draw a road map. Teddy Atlas explained Bivol already down the first four rounds even before the fight. The reason being per Atlas if there is a headbutt the judges go by the scorecards thus Canelo win. Then in the later rounds the fix was such if Canelo wins by one more round itâs a tie, by 2 rounds a win. That fight was so lopsided the judges couldnât dare to carry Canelo over the hump.
Whatâs the chances having all three scorecards exactly same and in such wide disagreement with the experts like Teddy Atlas. Those judges couldnât even cheat intelligently, totally exposed, they didnât even bother to cover it up. This screams of collusion! BTW I had Canelo for rounds 3 and 9.
In addition to the scorecard fix, Bivol was also cheated in another way:
Caleb Plant's purse 10 million
Billy Joe Saunder's purse 8 million
Avni Yıldırım's purse 1 million (corrected from 10 to 1)
Callum Smith's purse 8-10 million
Dmitry Bivol's purse 2 million
Thus a Canelo lost doesn't mean it wasn't rigged.

I do think Fury will be back for at least one, if not two or three, more fights. However, I had the thought that he may wait (possibly 1-2 years, but fighting Francis from UFC while he waits) until the dust settles after the other lads fight each other and see who comes out on top - I think Wilder would come out of hiding also and probably clean up and maybe truth is, as Fury says, he is No. 2.
If it were not for the incredible distraction/pain of the invasion of Ukraine to him then I would be much more confident of Usyk taking out AJ and the rest of them also. But many permutations are possible between the 3/4 of the others and it will be exciting to see how they all get on if they do manage to fight it out with or without Fury.
I say Fury sits it out and Wilder will eventually fight Usyk, then Usyk fighting Fury for the undisputed crown.
