Midland Pullman HST on the Dartmouth Steam Railway

High Speed Trains running on the Dartmouth Steam Railway are rare, so it was a must to capture the Midland Pullman running on the line. The train with 43046 & 43055 top and tailing ran the Devonian Pullman from Peterborough to Kingswear, is first seen at Saltern Cove impressing the nearby punters. A quick shot at Hookhills Viaduct sees the train pass by its luxury ocean liner counterpart, Cunard Line's Queen Victoria which is still in Torbay. On the return working the train is last seen departing Kingswear and running alongside the River Dart.

Ohh the Blue Pullman HST looks real magnificent. Had a good close glimpse of her at Kingswear, LSL have done really well on this train

Hope you didn't get your feet wet😁. Lovely video, it's great to think someone somewhere thought they could make a replica Blue Pullman out of an HST. Thinking with their head, now that's a rare treat these days.

Ahh ha yeah I did nearly get my feet wet. I agree its a great idea to create and replicate a train based off of a original (even if its not 100% accurate)

@@GreatWestern175 It will never happen, I don't think an IET can fit through Greenway Tunnel anyway. But it would help the summer traffic.
