thats why seagull is cool, he acts like any other fan/person, if he sees someone popular he acts like it, star is a popular streamer, seagull is a international player, but seagull doesnt think hes higher then star, but that star is higher, seagull thinks hes just another player
I was surprised at how good Ster actually is. All I heard was that youtubers should not be part of the World Cup, and to let the competitive players take over, with Ster and Muselk being notable examples. So, when watching this, I was dumbfounded by how much skill he actually has. I always watched his TF2 videos, but never did he display such high level aim, coordination, and game sense. I'm watching his stream now for sure, because this isn't just a "haha funny look at me" Ster. This is a Ster who knows how to get shit done.
I want to compliment you too on the double POV. Funny how they comment the choices in the game! Hopefully you make more of these! (It must be coincidence tho, when two streamers face off against eachother)
I agree. Even if this wasn't between Ster and Seagull, and it was just two random people commentating, I still think it would be an amazing watch. Seeing two perspectives of a game, especially from each team's angle, is so interesting because they say out loud the strategies they're going for, and then from the other perspective you can actually notice the tells of that strategy pretty easily. Watching videos like this can improve game sense by a huge margin, just by the fact that you know what everyone wants to do and can see how those strategies play out in real time from both perspectives. I really wish there was more of these videos. If anyone is reading this and can put together some stuff from top level comp where there are two opposing streamers, or just first person perspectives from tournaments, please do it. It would be awesome to have a nicely edited video like this one instead of switching between vods from separate people if I wanted to do this.
8:50 Ster: *Nano-boosts Genji* Ster: Stayed silent as he sees the Genji slaughter the entire enemy team Ster: *Casually shoots a Junkrat to death* Ster: That's... That's a pro Genji. Fucking gold
Cheung Leo If they died, then of course they're frags. So, you gonna answer my rhetorical question which easily points out how stupid your comment sounds?
***** Aren't rhetorical questions supposed not to be answered? But if you wish so I'm gonna do it anyway. Yes I considered them a team because... I didn't really cared how many the Genji killed because my comment was supposed to be a joke orientated around Star?
Seagull - [Sees Ster] Oh my God, is that Star? _The_ Star? Wow...is he streaming right now? Ster - [Sees Seagull] Oh, good, it's fuckin' Seagull. The one person who could make these placement matches fair. When did Ster become so surly?
You're missing a lot of context of actual 1 hour long queue times before this started and me expecting that I wouldn't get placed in a match until seagull finished his previous game. sorry
What do you mean? He literally saw him dash in behind him and theres one door there. Sure it was a nice flick but remember how bullshit Roadhog hooks are.
well ster was tryharding way more than seagull was. Ster went completely silent for like a minute then got mad at his team when he died while seagull was just talking, having fun and when he died just was "awww yeah I probably should've have done so and so" really calm.
Trio Team Well, when you are a healer, you get angry at your team because you can't do anything, but they can~ Seagull was being a bird, so he's almost always chill.
Seagull's coordinating with his team, calling out his opponents, trying to win: "Mei's on the left; Reaper up top, good call, he was ready to ult" Ster, on the other hand: "Eh, breakfast was good, we went over french toast bagels, I dunno how I feel about them yet."
Hey Sydo - I LOVE this style of video, please post more no matter who the players are... it's great to see the thought process of two pros going head to head.
Daniel Mills holy shit. Stop posting youtube comments before you figure out what "the difference between "you're" and "your" is... did you skip english class like everyone else seems to have done....?????
Ster seemed like he was really trying to win, and his commentary and gameplay style showed that, whereas Seagull was so relaxed as he casually slaughtered his enemies
Been rewatching these since I got the game a while back, and now actually understand it a bit more than I did when these streams originally happened. Damn this was a fun game to watch. Though maybe not so much for Star.
"STAR! Is that the real one??"
Seagull reacts how a fan would react lmao
Seagull came from tf2 and ster is a very big tf2 youtuber from seaagulls time
Maybe because he was his fan?
This is what makes seagull so lovable.
YOUR FAVORITE PLAYERS, FAVORITE PLAYER.
thats why seagull is cool, he acts like any other fan/person, if he sees someone popular he acts like it, star is a popular streamer, seagull is a international player, but seagull doesnt think hes higher then star, but that star is higher, seagull thinks hes just another player
"They told me Seagull is the final boss, this fuckin' team is the final boss" lmao
Holy hell, Ster carried the fuck out of his team on the first push.

He actually got Top 80 last season. He really is pretty good.
ster was actually an accomplished tf2 tournament player, and when he put on serious mode he was pretty damn good.
Seagull on Star's name being ster
Seagull: I call him by his real name, his tf2 name, before the memes took him from us.
loved the double PoV edit
Thanks. First time I've done that so I'm glad people like it
I want to compliment you too on the double POV. Funny how they comment the choices in the game! Hopefully you make more of these! (It must be coincidence tho, when two streamers face off against eachother)
Yeah, im sure its a lot of work, but its worth it! :)
Chiming in to agree with the others, really liked the format.
GrastTube ik
Like how Seagull was more excited about STAR_ than the other way around.
Star playing a lot of Ana vs Seagull playing a lot of Hanzo... yeah thatd suck
thats just star though. thats kinda how he always is.
+Raaf He wasn't like that before overwatch
He actually kinda was like that for quite a while, even before Overwatch. He's way toned down from how he used to be.
AM Journal There's a lot of talk here from people who only know him after he was verified on CZcams...
the thing i most liked about this video is that i was able to see both teams perspectives, strategies, counters and commentary.
I agree. Even if this wasn't between Ster and Seagull, and it was just two random people commentating, I still think it would be an amazing watch. Props to Sydo for the top tier editing.
NKArthur True that, I love this guy.
Ster's back is only so strong.
Seagull versus Star
Seagull versus Star
Everybody wants to see this happen
aaaaaand boooo is in the call~
+pataponman280 counting cards?
this makes me sad. where is jeeerma!
I'm going to sit down on the toilet and piss up into my face
You know dont say s...swears
2:35
Ster: There's a sonic arrow in here...
Seagull: (No sonic arrow at all) Dude what's that in the back?
It made me laugh.
8:50
Ster: *Nano-boosts Genji*
Ster: Stayed silent as he sees the Genji slaughter the entire enemy team
Ster: *Casually shoots a Junkrat to death*
Ster: That's... That's a pro Genji.
Fucking gold
Cheung Leo
You consider 2 frags a team?
You consider calling Lucio and Zarya frags?
Genius man
Also are you always this funny at parties too?
Cheung Leo
If they died, then of course they're frags. So, you gonna answer my rhetorical question which easily points out how stupid your comment sounds?

Ster - [Sees Seagull] Oh, good, it's fuckin' Seagull. The one person who could make these placement matches fair.
When did Ster become so surly?
Since he hit Grand Master.
this proves that STAR_ is an actual god
He's been going downhill since that messy divorce from Jerma. I think they're still friends, but it's not the same...
What happened with him and Jerma?
You're missing a lot of context of actual 1 hour long queue times before this started and me expecting that I wouldn't get placed in a match until seagull finished his previous game. sorry
♬♫♪♩LET'S GO, SEAGULL VS. STAR, SEAGULL VS. STAR; EVERYBODY WANTS TO SEE THIS HAPPEN♩♪♫♬
the puns
BOO IS IN THE CALL
AND BOOOOO IS INNNNN THE CAAALLLLL!
Former Tf2 youtuber vs former Tf2 pro, oh my
Ster was a TF2 pro what do you mean
dude ster sucked balls on comp
even for a youtuber, star was hella good.
was? is
I mean, he won 1st in a lot of tournaments. GGG was so good
My one takeaway? Roadhogs hook is fucking bullshit.
the range and hitbox is the cancer of overwatch. right after mei and bastion
+The Mothling mei is bae (I'm mei main)
Uma
and i main roadhog
that 180 degree hook was sick though
And it reaches for days. you could sit at your spawn point and hook people on the other side of the map.
*Reinhardt dies*
"It's just a scratch, you'll be fine."
Alexander Langner She's in denial.
he would rather play the video games then be with me seeeexxxuuaaalllyyyy
That Torbjörn at 6 minutes got destroyed.
12:12 WTF WAS THAT HOOK?!?!?! I cannot mentally comprehend how you become that good at situational awareness and aiming. Seagull is insane.
bit lucky with the hook but great awareness to throw the hook there
Joxus Art the flick of thuh wrist
What do you mean? He literally saw him dash in behind him and theres one door there. Sure it was a nice flick but remember how bullshit Roadhog hooks are.
I mean.. you saw the slash.. and a 180 is not that difficult..
I love how excited seagull is in the beggining.
Can we talk about how Star got combo'd by concussion mine into flashbang into scatter arrow? That was brutal.
Low key was completely rooting for ster
really good video, love how you rewind and show the battles from both sides
Agreed, I've not seen a video edited like this before, good job
Man Ster was really playing his heart out. I feel bad for him. :(
One of the coolest concepts in terms of editing in gaming.
lol ster just talking about breakfest while seagull trying to be competitive xD
well ster was tryharding way more than seagull was. Ster went completely silent for like a minute then got mad at his team when he died while seagull was just talking, having fun and when he died just was "awww yeah I probably should've have done so and so" really calm.
Trio Team Well, when you are a healer, you get angry at your team because you can't do anything, but they can~
Seagull was being a bird, so he's almost always chill.
ster eats in breakfast competitions
Ster was carrying his team with ana ult. Sucks for him man.
nice edits, interesting to see the fight from both sides
the double vision edit is something the pro players should do more often!
thanks for editing and uploading
How do people not hear when its seagull and when its ster ... come on their voices arent THAT simular rofl.
ster is the best ana i have ever seen holy shit
You must not have seen many anas
TheGamingEmpire you must not have seen ster
Is this the first Ana gameplay you've watched?
Bird Guy That Asian guy is a bit better.
top fiv hunnit
Subbed, simply for the fact that you put on both pov's. Nicely done and wp man
This was so fun to watch.
I needed this.
sydo you are a gift
SEAGULL VS. STAR SEAGULL VS. STAR EVERYBODU WANTS TO SEE THIS HAPPEN
Props to this video man, you have some great editing in this, I love it :)
Nice editing, dude. Really enjoyed seeing both perspectives like that
Great video, the change in perspective is so good!
it's like the beginning of a Drake & Josh episode where they say the complete opposite and one is always negative and one is always positive lmao
Ster the ana carry!
I was excited for this video and didn't even realize you would edit them both together. Thank you
Dude that was awesome XD so epic seeing these two play off, and seeing both of their perspectives as well is so epic :D
I come back and watch this at least once a year.
Still one of the best streamer v streamer interactions.
Yo good editing, that was fun to watch!
Thank you for stitching this together, this was a cool watch.
I love this swapping back and forth. Keep this up and you'll have at least one more viewer:)
This is some pretty insane editing you have done there! I would really much appreciate to see more of this in the future. Dropping a follow for that.
That was a lot of fun to watch. Good job editing!
I like how seagull has to explain how he dies so he doesnt look stupid for dying
It's probably more of a post-death analysis. It's interesting to hear what happened for the stream viewers, plus it helps him realize his mistakes.
Seagull's coordinating with his team, calling out his opponents, trying to win: "Mei's on the left; Reaper up top, good call, he was ready to ult"
Ster, on the other hand: "Eh, breakfast was good, we went over french toast bagels, I dunno how I feel about them yet."
Mousazz what could have ster done with that incompetent team of his? he probs gave up by that point
Hey nice editing. Would watch more
Dude, that was really nice edited and fun to watch, good job here :)
i really like the edit. Going between 2 players, seeing reactions and plays.
Hey Sydo - I LOVE this style of video, please post more no matter who the players are... it's great to see the thought process of two pros going head to head.
This is such a well made video good job
My two favorite players, for sure. Was an awesome match overall.
The contrast between Ster's and Seagull's commentary is just beautiful.
godlike editing+idea. That mighty mccree tho, was super good.
The editing is awesome dude
Seagull: Bla bla Reinhardt shield bla bla good advice bla bla wise bla **Enlightment**
Ster: LMAOZ I'm gold medalz Ana keks
This is such a cool video. Keep them up!!
This double PoV is awesome. Sub'd
Seagull vs star🎶 everyone wants to see this happen🎶 seagull vs star!
Seagull vs. Star! Seagull vs. Star! Everybody wants-to-see-this-hap-pen!
nope it's ster now
Seagull vs star would basically be a "shoot first" situation
for a second i though that ster is on the both Povs because theyre voices are so similiar
No dude. No. Just no.
Onuralp Golbasi 8 people agree with me, your just one
Learn to english please. I just replied. And the people agree with you are casuals that think ster is his actual nick
Onuralp Golbasi ermagred you can't think that they're voices are similar = your casual -Onuralp Golbasi
Daniel Mills holy shit. Stop posting youtube comments before you figure out what "the difference between "you're" and "your" is... did you skip english class like everyone else seems to have done....?????
Nicely edited!
cool upload. the 2 perspectives really works well.
Really entertaining video. Love this idea!
"I need heals!!!!!" - The Winston, who dove into three players, by himself, before his team got there
Nice man that was really fun to watch
Great job editing this together
When two gods collide.
Cool edit, thanks for this!
Ster seemed like he was really trying to win, and his commentary and gameplay style showed that, whereas Seagull was so relaxed as he casually slaughtered his enemies
I love how it's "OMG IT'S STER/SEAGULL" but in the end they're just so casual. If I were in the game I'd be like, "OMG I KILLED STER/SEAGULL!"
-He just trances in, he has no fear
Zenyatta: oops
Star I gotta say I don't know much about you but this video is awesome. they aligning of both perspectives is just great!!
I saw this happen live and I'm so glad it got recorded
10:44
"Byeah"
It was really neat seeing the same game from different sides :)
Great editing. Just thought it would be one-sided footage. Well-timed.
Great editing.
Been rewatching these since I got the game a while back, and now actually understand it a bit more than I did when these streams originally happened.
Damn this was a fun game to watch. Though maybe not so much for Star.
So well edited
Loved this!
bit late, but you this video is very well made. great work.
That soldier threw the game so hard, never even killed.
This is the most entertaining thing to watch ever.
that was intense. loved it!
amazing video, keep it up
this video is so cool. Sweet edit, very cool idea.
best ana i've ever seen
"The outcome was never in doubt"
Damn Ster that was some sick Ana gameplay
Ster was going nuts amazing play
Duel of the century
That was fun seeing both side of battle like that.
*potg*Seagull: *some pro talk*Ster:"rip"
Hey bro I hope you get to 1000 subs soon you deserve it :)
Love what you do sydo
