I used to have my own way of doing pulled pork but this looks terrific. I’m gonna try it with my next one. Question: are you in the “bone-in” or “boneless” camp? I like to leave the bone in. Pulling that clean bone out after the resting period is soooooooooo satisfying 🖤

I always use the Dutch oven at the point when it needs to be wrapped. It's exactly the same idea without wasting foil and messy cleanup.

Looked great, but I think I would leave the lid off for the first half of the cook to pick up some smoke then cover. Just a thought
Or start it up low and slow, let it smoke for a few hours, and then finish off in the Dutch oven as ramping up the heat is very easy to do, ramping down is difficult.

Looks amazing! Definitely want to try this version of pulled pork. One question though, what made you not smoke it for a bit first prior to putting it on the Dutch oven? I think the smoke flavor would have added an extra element. Maybe something to compare?
That's something I'd like to try. Right now it looks like the BBQ is used only as a heat source, so maybe a 50/50 of smoking and finishing it in the Dutch oven would work very well. Also, I'd try and switch the coleslaw up with some chicory salad which is bitter as well as acidic (chicory with ham and cheese is a classic Dutch dish, so it goes very well with pork).

I gotta have coleslaw with its creamy refreshing crunch, it compliments the super rich fatty pork flavor and texture perfectly. Allowing you to eat more pork!

Coleslaw is the worst, I'm with you there.
I reaslly like the Morrison episodes. They are happening more and more. I assume the Pitmaster is getting more and more busy spending the sweet, sweet CZcams dollars partying with supermodels on his private yacht.
I like the gravy. I like the mayo. The 2 together seems like too much, but that is awesome.

Goed zo. What about toasting the buns and slathering the Mayo dressing on the cut surfaces of the bun. This will keep the bread from getting to soggy and improve the taste of the Turkish bread. Otherwise perfect

Your gravy for the pork is different from any I have ever seen but wow does it look great. Also, i'm not a fan of coleslaw on my pulled pork sandwiches either. That's a regional thing.

that is a "camp style" dutch oven because it has legs.....you can put live charcoal directly under the oven and still have clearance for air flow.......also you can put live charcoal on TOP of that oven at the same time and get a true "oven" effect........you can stack a 14 inch, 12 inch, 10 inch, and 8 inch camp style oven on top of each other with charcoal in between them all and cook four different dishes as the same time........looks very impressive at a camp out..........when you see steam coming out you know you will need to add some water.....they are not 100 percent pressure cooker sealed.

This Cajun absolutely liked this video. If I could have liked it 100x more I would have. You went so much further and did so much better than that loser Gordon Ramsey. He didn't even Maillard reaction sear his pork shoulder! Your pork shoulder is world class first place winner grade! Not to mention you know the secrets of buttermilk!
