I’m having that trouble to with my Lincoln outfitters from Rural King it’s a fairly large light put you in mind of the old mag lights It has the same battery sleeve in it that this Gentlemans has basically,,,mine doesn’t seem to want to come out either I’m going to try a very small screwdriver and see if I can gently pry them out of there at the top or bottom my suspicion is most of these lights that are designed like this are probably all made in the same Chinese factories some are slightly different design and may be different name plates
If it won't come out, the batteries have corroded inside. That's what happened to mine. I cleaned it up and put new batteries. But it no longer works. 😢
