- Surviving 2020 was no joke, and after being locked in for over a year it's time to celebrate with a new video about one of the worst lockdown experiments ever conducted! Check out what went horribly wrong in the Biosphere 2 experiments right now!

Sorry about 7 years at 1:00. Sometimes I just canât count đ€Šââïž. Should have said 4 years.
its ok we forgive you
Itâs okay info, these videos are really cool so a small mistake isnât that much.
its totally ok
It was bad and you should feel bad.
It's ok. đ I'm just glad we don't have to stay in lockdown for 7 or 4 years... unless vaccine passports are immorally imposed against inherently free individuals by political bureaucrats that funded gain of function research.
Bro, whoever animates for this channel deserves a lot of recognition. Animation takes so much time oml
Probably a large team
@Alex R no one person can animate 10 minute video in one day every day
fun fact: did you know that more people die from pigs than from sharks?! i will post regular vids like this so make sure to subscribe!! btw i'm a kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Alex R yeah, most likely there is a whole team animating for the channel
Im sure they are paid fairly well.
Biosphere 2 wasnât really a disaster, just a big press nightmare
He ultimately said it was a success tho
fun fact: did you know that more people die from pigs than from sharks?! i will post regular vids like this so make sure to subscribe!! btw i'm a kid!!!!!!!!!!
@@THINKPATH shut up no one cares
This must be the next level of quarantine for introverts

Introverts like isolation so quarantines are ok for them
all fun and games until one of the crewmates turns out to be an imposter
existence is suffering and fundamentally meaningless
I studied this and other biospheres in college. It very fascinating. With today's tech and knowledge it would have went WAY differently, of course.
I personally think they messed up including all of the different environments over just the environments needed for survival.
I agree too. Tropical environnement is a nightmare, and very energy heavy. As their only ressource is soil and sunlight, it would be much more logical to integrate species and plants that transform them more efficiently. Bacteria for oxygen, no heavy maintenance plants, and no bigger animals than chicken as bigger animals consume too much. Also, people would need to have some way to produce synthethic consumables, like some medecine, synthethic milk. Also, a carbon scruber and some systems to recycle like on the ISS

@@THINKPATH I donât care that ur a kid, but it rlly shows.
It wasn't perfect but I don't see where it went HORRIBLY WRONG lol
same, everything that went wrong, the die offs, the pests the co2, the fighting was all data that is useful
This iss why you need space.
@@Shadeem exactly. The title makes it sound like a complete failure. I was aware of the biosphere 2 way before this but yes im basically pointing out the BS title lol the episode wasn't bad though. Just contradicted his own title haha
@@COYOTE_N8 It's CZcams, sadly, you gotta do what'cha gotta do to get views.
regular show irl
The crew must have felt it like the real truman show

Yeah
Everyone at some point feels that they are the trueman(including me)

More like Bio-Dome
7:48 traitors? this experiment has kinda turned into an among us game tbh
The crewmates were sus
SUSSY!
looks like they played among us long before we did. Heck did anyone even sabotage anything for the other crewmates to fix ?
AR Among us
Sussy impostor may included if there is vent and dead bodies
So youâre telling me that the movie BiodomeâŠ.was a documentary?!
literally all i was thinking thoughout the video
Same guys!!đ was looking for this comment lol
Very Ironic that Jane POYINTER got the tip of her finger off..
LOL
Cat!
Let's take a moment and appreciate how many times this man be grinding in the day
Its a company not one guy so basically its coming home i love England and gravy
@@greasydave8606 It's diving home buddy đ
Except they don't consistently fact check.
Now we talking about the scientists guy?
Lol 8 crew mates and 1 imposter among them
I feel like everyone part of this were underwhelming unqualified for this. Simply because no one decided "hey, maybe we should have a few practice runs before we lock human subjects inside this thing?
wasn't this a practice run for the real thing
@@sirmel11 Nah, I'm talking about a practice run before they entered the simulation. Figure out what different techniques or things they forgot. Like a carbon dioxide scrubber, or in case the bees die.
@@tegandumpleton3360 wasn't that what this was when they do it again it will be easier
@@CloverPower01 I mean without locking them inside.
I mean you gotta start somewhere
We learn best from our failures. The experiment is a lesson on how complex our fish bowl called Earth really is. There is no quick solution to reinventing 4.5 billion years of Earthâs evolution. Space stations are the current biosphere experiments with Mars on the horizon.
Wow. Your videos are always entertaining and informative ! Thank you for making this man ! :)
3.5 Acres is not a lot of room!

Ajajajjajajaja. We know what you are
It was flawed and ultimately had mixed success, but like the video said, even (or especially) failure teaches. They learned about problems that are likely to crop up, and some solutions to same.
Congrats on 10 mil
Why does the biosphere remind me of the Hunger Games arena?

Love this channel
This is like the real life serious version of biodome. The movie with Pauly Shore
Man those two sure caused some trouble in that bubble.
Locking someone in a biodome with Pauly Shore should be against the Geneva convention.
No matter what anyone says I enjoyed the Pauly Shore movies as a kid. Were they blockbusters? Naw. But entertainment nonetheless
Hey Doyle "just cuz were locked in a bubble, doesn't mean we cant cause any trouble!" BUD and DOYLE! BUD and DOYLE!
It's a tenacious d movie
Great video today keep it up your doing amazing job
ONE OF THE MOST RECCOMEND CZcams CHANNELS, IN MY OPINION!
Ive been to the biosphere and its still super cool ur in a desert and then your in the rainforest with hundreds of different plants you have never seen its amazing
Bio dome with Pauly shore đ heyyyy buddy! đ
I donât know why but I really like Infographicâs voice because itâs so sarcastic and funny

*Oh look, the Media turning something into a mess. That never happens.*
To say that it went "horribly wrong" is unfair and inaccurate.
Like the media at the time anyone that says it was a failure and they 'cheated' missed the whole point of the experiment.
They were trying to determine if it was possible to survive in an enclosed ecosystem, they were the first to attempt something at this scale and should be applauded for their efforts.
Experimentation is about trying something, seeing what works, fixing what doesn't and continuing until you achieve your result.
John Allen and Ed Bass should be remembered for having the vision and conviction for seeing through such an undertaking.
Theâfailuresâ also help scientists since it explains what we would need to considered or what was forgotten.
You're thinking locally and we're thinking globally!! đ€Ł
Iâve seen this place a lot since I live in Tucson, never knew there was so much behind it.
This video doesnât give it justice. This is the most amazing place i have ever been too you can tour it today
Is this the movie, Bio-dome was made from? Gotta love & miss Pauly Shore. This def has me wanting to watch that movie now lol
Very noice video man

This video is literally us in a pandemic.

No it's not.
Tss you watch TV CZcams eat all day that's it....

Lol đ good ol pauly shore!
Getting mad Biodome vibes and I'm only 2 minutes in. Please tell me Pauly Shore didn't have anything to do with the technical difficulties lol
The video : *mentions 1987*

nooooooooooo not the bush baby !!đ

...oh, insects! I thought I heard something much less wholesome.
This insanity sounds like a cross between MTV's "The Real World" and "Lost".
Nothing like small successes from a 150m glass bubble.
They sure had some trouble in that bubble

I , 38 minutes ago exactly , watched his video about Russia and North Korea vs The USA and appreciated "hey , this guy uploads good content every day" I turned off my laptop to read , next thing I know is I get a ping on my phone "The Inforgraphics Show has uploaded: Lockdown Experiment gone horribly wrong" and I simply just didn't believe it until I saw this....
You're just going to leave us all hanging with this captivating tale? What happened next???
â@@ChadwickTheChad check it out now lol sorry for not editing before
This reminds me so much of the movie biodome đ lol!!!
I wouldn't call it a fail at all.. except the part of being an inspiration for Big Brother..
BioDome was one of my favorite movies!
6:45 at first I was like âI wonder what the question isâ then I realized that was the first thing I thought of
Fun Fact: 30 people can't be "first"
Clearly your fact is cap. Thereâs well over 30 firsts
No way
Why do people even care about that anyway it's so weird to me
@@erich1380 I do it to taunt people
@@erich1380 Exactly, like it doesn't matter. Some people should just enjoy the content instead of racing to be early
It's like Big Brother but with green peace initiative lol
What was that video game music at the beginning of the video?
Oof the Arizona desertđ
cool ! SPACESHIP EARTH Biosphere 2 Documentary , definitely gonna watch it .
You could make that happen in â30 Minutes or Lessâ well played đ
So this is where the movie biodome came from. Makes complete sense.
BIO DOME was my jam
Pfft, I've been in lockdown since 2020 March and still goingđ€
Reminds me of when like kong was in a biosphere in the Godzilla vs Kong movie
So basically its a more complex version of Bigg Boss lol.
This is very cool.
We learned a lot from this experience
I had heard about the bio sphere in my 7th grade science class
people could only see there family thru the glass ball
This event has the opportunity for Among Us meme jokes written all over it.
Is it ironic how the first thing he mentions is house arrest right after I watched his video about house arrest?
Nice set for a zombie apocalypse.
When quarantine started he ordered something from Amazon and it said it would take two years to arrive. This is actually true as he showed me the orders page.
well i suppose the colony project really has been around for a while
That type of experiment shouldn't exactly be done in a vacuum. They should continually improve it until it can be done in a vacuum. Then you can replicate it, aware of the challenges faced, in an alien environment.
Good lessons to learn tho
Dude Pauly Shore and Adam Baldwin would be great on this team.
Thought this only existed in movies
It took 7yrs between 1987 and 1991? If I ever need an accountant I know to not ask for references from CZcams. Haha
So it was basically Big Brother before Big Brother was a thing? Without the TV cameras and broadcasting of course.
Edit: I wrote this comment before the end where they use that comparison too.
This is like the hunger games but realistic
Where is Bud and Doyle đâïž
1:00 It took 7 years between 1987-1991, hmmm
Bio dome was a great movie to đ
2 Duffel Bags.
Basically if you build the same settlement in Mars and for some reason you discover âtechnical problem,â Well itâs game over.
The morning glories shouldn't have been a problem. Maybe they should have considered somebody with some gardening experience. Sounds like they were figuring it out. Hopefully if they do this on a planet they will send competent people.
2020 in a nutshell
AKA. Initial covid 19 lockdown tests, they had info to improve system and decided what were "essential" jobs. Basically minimum wage so were worth pursuing, then started working on a highly contagious and deadly disease. Mission accomplished.đ€
I have been in my house since 2020 January and never left
Should have tought of that before it happened
There's no way this didn't inspire that movie....if it didn't....WHOA
The limits of âcontrolled environmentâđ€Š
Sounds like the Government!
