If there is anything I have learned, it doesn't matter what the raid lead does, someone hates it! We prog fast because we quickly learn and perform mechs. We seek understanding then execute. And heck we almost made it past the first mech as a result! It won't be long before we clear. But thank you, our raid lead rocks.
@@ishirutaekakura308 He's not wrong though just the way he delivered his message was rude sounding. If the one stand on A was farther they wouldn't have died to final word but this was there first time there so its to be expected to die , we all did when we got there for the first time.
@@ibrahimhissing9466 North South Final Word is the Aether strat, Light on A, Dark on C, party on north edge of C The two light debuffs WERE NOT on the edge of C, so they died because they ended up too close to the light beacon. It's not on the raid lead whatsoever, people were too far in front of C rather than be on its edge, there's a reason the other light that was closer to C survived. That's just execution failure, not the callout.

I also understand that you want to see as much as you can so you from the new phase. Its totally ok. But lets be honest for a minute Optical sight is not a mechanic that you NEED to see befor you understand it. Its just a standard spread and stack where you MAYBE have someone adjust to the other stack. There is nothing more to it and nothing else going on during it. Understanding how Light and Dark beacons work is much more important and you wont be able todo it first time coming there anyway.
I don't know man, the group seems like already knows what going to happen next phase with all the callouts etc. so i think it wasn't count as first time in my opinion you were %100 right if the group goes blind etc. But literally shoutcaller said what going the happen and everybody in group seems like prepared for whats incoming after hearing their replies. Also of course shoutcaller will call everything after 13-14 ish min consistently fighting to get there. After clearing DSR first time including me and at least 2 other of my static members skipped because we already know from the guides etc. Just the way people tries to be complaining about this video's shoutcaller should be considered as no static experienced player tbh XD because the fact probably video owner gets hyped because managed to get Perfect Alexander first time not to see a 30 seconds of cutscene that our rusty alexander merges up with brute justice just be fair. If it's because of the cutscene like said i should invite them to watch all the episodes of the Power Rangers to get hyped all day long XD

You can probably learn how to PF up to BJ/CC. Problem will be getting groups that consistently get to Prime or beyond. The nice thing is I think statics do a bang up job on this fight, truly most of the difficulty of the fight is frontloaded.
@@fierceblu ultimates In general just are not for me. I have no doubt some people probably enjoy them, but the amount of work needed to even get a dedicated team going to prog them is stupid. Even savage is a bit too difficult after the first 2 bosses in a tier. P1S to me is the golden standard of what hard content should look like in ff14 and again that is just my opinion after my experiences in the game. Tbh I think more people would be doing ultimates if it only required 4 people.
