IPKKND is the best serial ever...i have been watching hindi shows since more than 11 yrs ..there is no such show which can take place of this show..litreally IPKKND is the legend show in the telly history..Chemistry of Sanaya and Barun was outstanding...no other jodi can replace them and all other charecters like mamiji ,Nk,nani ,buaji all were awsome ..memmorable show

Watched Robert De Nero and Meryl Streep in "Falling in Love" last night. De Nero's expressions reminded me of Barun Sobti's. That is how good an actor Barun Sobti is. You always hear what a good actor Barun is, but truly made me realize it last night. We do not give our Indian actors enough credit, especially in typical Indian romance dramas.
I can't believe how many times I watched this interview. Never realised how much I missed them till I saw these interviews. It's ridiculous that they are not cast in a new show considering how iconic they were!!

It was 10 years back ...I was in class 6. This show started...I crazily watched this show. Its repeat also. And sharp at 8pm my family would give me tv remote😂. I love this pair so much..watta cast watta story watta craze!! This show revolutionised tv serials at that time. This show portrayed something new. Watched bts on news channels. Googled Barun's pictures and downloaded them. Was crazy about him.❤️❤️ I was disheartened when they announced the end. But the love for this show was immense. And till this date I watch some clips on hotstar ❤️. This show will always be special for me. Its nostalgic ❤️

In 2011 i was so crazy about them & about This serial & stil now. I think i will never get over this serial, i am stil obsessed with them. Even after 12 years it's my favourite no.1 hindi serial. I am rewatching it now & i stil feel so nostalgic as if it was only some month ago that this show ended. I can't believe it’s already 12 years! & people stil love thier show & also thier friendship ❤❤❤.

Why do fans still miss IPK.Firstly pointing it out that I maybe the least and most eligible person to answer this question.I saw IPK for the very first time in 2020 and I am 30.It was my first Hindi TV serial and that was because I always had a strong disdain towards Hindi TV serials.I had casually seen a few serials(not willingly) all because my mum and aunts are avid viewers.I still can't fully understand why I loved IPK so much,even when I found many scenes extremely cheesy and jarring.
1) Fresh,innovative and quirky script( that's the reason why every popular TV show is still copying IPK)
2) Barun Sobti- Ruggedly handsome and talented. Whereas 99% TV actors look like manicured buffed up Ken Dolls.
3) Sanaya Irani-Only ITV actress who could manage to look sexy,quirky,funny,charming and real.
4) Barun and Sanaya's chemistry-OMG...ITV can never replicate that chemistry,period.It was like a house on fire.
5) Bang-On casting,my favorite is Hello-Hi Bye Bye Mami ji.
6) As compared to any other ITV shows,minimum Saas-Bahu toxic drama.
7) Stayed on only for a year and a half,thanks to Barun Sobti's decision to quit.Instead of almost all the other shows which go on for 3-4 years effing years.
8) Stayed away from ITV cliches like amnesia or evil twin.🤯

I love this show so much! But mostly I'm very grateful to these actors for not ruining such a good show and going for those twists and turns that end up ruining the original show😭. I think this series is still popular because it ended on such a good note, before it lost it's dignity ❤️❤️❤️
Ending was also not that good ( except for 8 episode extension of Hotstar Originals) 😭
Very abrupt ending , the ending could have been thoughtfully & aesthetically made like the initial phase of the show....the show was losing its initial charm for various reasons towards the end

I am from Bangladesh and I remember I was in fourth grade when this show came out. I wanted to watch this so badly but my elder sisters wouldn't let me as I was so young😂
Now I am 20 years old and i've watched this show twice. I keep watching the clips from ipkknd every now and then. Soap operas are not my thing at all but this one is something else. Whenever I see barun and sanaya, their names come up in my mind as 'Arnav and Khushi'. I wish they acted as a pair again on screen. Love this couple so so so much!❤️

OMG now it has been completed 11 years for Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Nam Doon serial but also can't forget our lod governer Arnav ,Lucknow girl Kushi their chemistry ,acting superb and whole family was fun and good bonding❤ one of the best Indian serial.
