  • Heavier riders have different needs when it comes to electric scooters. However, 3 things you don't need to compromise on are speed, range and ride quality.
In this video Sean (155LBS), faces off against Randy (276LBS) and Justin (360LBS). Our scooters of choice are the Apollo Phantom and Ghost, and they do not disappoint.

thank you guys so much for making this. seriously it’s tough to find out weight limits for products like this, and finding a distinct answer is usually never easy and ruins any motivation i had for getting into this stuff.

Love seeing PEV tests for bigger riders like this! It’s harder for heavier guys to get a good idea of how PEV’s perform for us, and it can be frustrating, so love to see stuff like this.

I have no hills to climb, and with my bag I'm about 230lb. I imagine load on scoot will be 240lb after I add a bag and lock, pump, etc. This video doesn't cover the CP22, but at least with these huge guys on these scooters the performance doesn't drop off a cliff.

I'm 195 lbs and 6'2" i reached 70 km/h on my Phantom 52v V2 with a strong back wind , most commonly 65 km/h and going on a long steep hill in Ile Perrot I can keep 40 Km/h , Impressive! Now I can't wait for spring to test out my V3 upgrade. As for range, my favorite ride is going to Lachine 32nd avenue by car, from there I ride the bike path all the way to old port and then back again to Lachine (32 km) and at the end I have 25 km remain. Keep in mind the scooter itself is almost 80 lbs, I would say it's the only negative, I'm a strong guy and need to hustle it inside and out my condo, my girlfriend can't so for her we need to look for something more like an Apollo city pro.

I’m 343lbs and 6’1.5” and it truly is painful to find into this stuff with this weight, i mean my weight is around half muscle but also around half fat so i still have pretty impressive balance and coordination and agility etc (believe it or not) like someone who weight much less, so that’s why I would love to ride with these, but I think Segway GT2P is my choice which has 330lbs weight limit
