Really happy I came across this video...20 years ago I worked in feed sales...I ended up going back to university which led me to becoming an Ag Banker. I had the pleasure of visiting and working with father Ed...great guy...practical, down to earth and tremendous care taker...my most vivid recollection of Kosterholme was how well the livestock was cared for and cleanliness of the facilities...I do recall meeting and seeing the boys helping out around the farm...it was obvious that dairy farming was in their future....I have no doubt father Ed is very proud...good luck. I am subscribed and look forward to following along.

When were were milking on the tie-stall i always put one knee on the floor. If you milk the cow on your right, put the right knee on the floor. When done put your left foot in the gutter and walk that makes it easy on knees to get up. Way less load then they do. My dad did have a milking stool.
I always loved being at this farm when I was at the farm when visiting my aunt and uncle as a child.

Lol, first it's Olympia and not Zamboni.
Olympia is the Canadian company and Zamboni is American.
My wife's family are the owners and makers of Olympia Resurfice in Elmira Ontario.
