Always something broke on the farm isn't there. Congratulation on the new tractor. However, I was surprised because it had the joystick rather than mechanical - especially after his talk about the back up sensors. But the extra power will be nice I am sure. Great info. Good video!

Hello, I've been binge watching your videos and thought I'd suggest an HLA high dump bucket for your skidsteer so you don't have to rattle your skidsteer while filling your tmr mixer. I'm from a dairy as well and wouldn't wish that shaking to loosen parts.😊

How do you get the sand out of the lagoon for don't lagoon space?

Productive crop -well done. Poop smoothies are hard to make with sand I'm sure. Crops should respond well.

Always nice having extra hands on deck on projects like that..... that's not bad at all to have it done in 3.5 hours..... wish I had the option.... my feed varies on quality cause of time it takes me to get it done.

Right on! Unfortunately the general public is led to believe that nothing lasts - but larger kernels like corn will last for years, if not decades, if kept proper. In a lot of cases, seed companies are required to put an "expiry" date on things even though it is a meaningless date. Glad you did the germination test instead of just chucking it.

Enjoyed this. Good job on learning to drive the tractor and hay bind. You'll be spending hours out there before too long. Field definitely looks wet. Hopefully you are able to get the rest of fields done Eddy - it's been cool and rainy here for 4 days now. I have been wondering how you get the first time heifer's used to being milked by the robot....I now have a good idea. How many days do you have to run them through before they get with the program? Thanks for sharing that. Great job on using the milk to feed calves - I like that. Great video!

If the sand gets pushed in the manure scraper gutter? How can you clean it ?

Do you guys have a sand lane or some other way to reclaim some of the sand before the manure goes in the pit?

Anybody who takes the extra effort to make their animals healthier and happier are heroes in my book. And raking all that sand will increase your upper body strength which will benefit you in other ways. Win-win!

Things u do for ur cows so they can be comfy... So they are free on big land all day except for the time when they need to be milked and during night (sleep) time. Ur such good people, for not keeping them in 1by1 all day everyday for rest of their life and grant them space more than once a month. Poor choice of words morons.

There are many benefits to using sand bedding for dairy cows. Buuuut there are negatives too. Watch the video to find out the top four reasons we use sand bedding in our dairy barn and the reasons we don't like it.

Owen and Liam helped me milk tonight and told me headaches you all been going throu. I lost a cow last week fresh heifer only milked her like a week. Been Trying to save my corn from to much rain. Probably replant some. Hope things get going for you guys 👍

Oh the joys of farming! But I agree with Eddie, That's life. It will be interesting to see next weeks video - lol. By the looks of it though, you already decided on new tractor vs repair - but if you are still deciding I would suggest repair. Especially if the other is used...it boils down to the devil you know or the devil you don't. If you are thinking new, then run the other way! lol. We are experiencing wet and a lot of folks don't have their crops in here either.
