No the issue is that Rachel has always looked good. Monica has had some really bad haircuts, bad outfits and makeup that has aged her. if she had the same styling as Rachel she’d win every time. Same thing with phoebe.

Ah, this beautiful strapless yellow dress finally gets here.
According to Debra McGuire, the costume designer/wardrobe stylist of Friends, she bought this dress in a boutique called Idol in London when they were shooting Friends. She received thousands of emails over the years asking just about this dress, which is one of the most loved by fans. ❤️

So, referring to Jennifer's beautiful Brown hair that could be seen in seasons 1-3 etc. and of course embracing her natural figure and curves. Right here in season 5 and beyond it because too much glamour and projecting this unrealistic version undermining that Greek beauty she had.

There was no point dating Dave, or anyone else, if Rachel did not like him nor was really into him. Monica set them up on a date. Rachel always loved Ross, but again the writers just kept them apart while this couple could have been written to get back together starting from this point.
This scene reminds me of Rachel's break up with Paolo. Ross appeared as someone who cheered her up and he hoped he could win Rachel's heart. Rachel was vulnerable at that time, so is Ross in this scene. The writers decided it was not the time yet to make them together, until we watched the prom video.
Well apparently, for some people everything Rachel does is always wrong and viewed negative, and calling her a bitch seems to satisfy them.

@@millie3milk808 very true. It felt natural the way their relationship progressed. And yes they had a gr8 chemistry but sometimes passion is not enough. Things just don't work out. Even with all that gr8 chemistry.
It made no sense that the writers didn’t even have them try to work things out after Emily or when Rachel got pregnant. It felt very unnatural keeping them apart after both grew so much! Joey could have fallen for Rachel’s sister, Amy, played by Christina Applegate then. That would have been great tv :)

It's simple. She wanted to do it for very selfish reason. Ross was the only guy in her life who really loved her. So he was her toy. When he was available, she didn't care. When he was with someone, she couldn't let him go and had to intervene. So what she ruined his life.
If she really loved Ross, she would try to help him after the divorce, when he was so devastated, depressed. If you love someone, watching him/her like this literally breaks your heart so there is no way you wouldn't think how to help him/her. But Rachel totally lost her interest in Ross after the divorce. After a while she started to date Danny. She didn't even apologize or explained herself to Ross, e.g. "I'm really sorry but I don't feel it anymore" or anything like that. She didn't even talk to him until he got that message from Emily. So from the day they decided to divorce until the day that his ex wife called him a day before her wedding with another guy, Rachel didn't even talk to the man she said she loved. So I guess it's at least a couple of months. 2-3 months minimum. Divorce and organizing wedding takes time. So she says she loves a man but when he's finally divorced, depressed, devastated, she doesn't talk to him for months. It's not love.

Well. Even if you're right, it's not her business. He wants to get marry, to move on, she shouldn't interfere. However, he didn't try to marry other women he dated so it seems he really fell in love with Emily. Are you such Rachel fan you can't accept it?
Unless Rachel really loves Ross. Than telling him she's still in love with him is understandable. But the thing is she didn't do anything when Ross was finally divorced, broken and depressed. And he decided to end his marriage because of Rachel (as a friend but still because of her) She didn't do anything to help him, to comfort him, to try to go back to him, to let him know that she'd would wait until he'd get ready to talk about being together again. No. She started dating Danny instead. You don't do something like that when you really love someone (I wouldn't, wouldn't be even able to do that). This is why I believe what I wrote above.

Everyone always talks about how hot the actors are, but I am always looking at how hot the apartment is. I love the decor there. I would like to hear more from the set designers.
