- Jim and I went to a 4th of July Golf Cart Parade at Marcia and Bobby's Sun Lakes, 55-plus golf course community. Afterwards, we went back to their house for a BBQ. It was a fun and patriotic day!

The 4th is the biggest day of the year in our little resort town of Ouray, Colorado. The 700 person town swells to 10000 to 15000 folks. It is fun to see the energy in the town.

My small town has a car show before the fireworks. We do not have enough roads for a parade. Also we have other small town activities on the fourth. Small towns go all out on the 4th of July. They are very patriotic.

Happy 4th of July Steve, Jim and All! I hope Y’all had a Great Day! Mine was very low key. My kids were working one of the booths at The Greeley Stampede and I stayed home! It was too hot outside for me. It got up to 90 degrees here. For those of us here in Colorado that is hot 🥵! LOL I loved the Golf Cart Parade, it was so cute and looked like a lot of fun. I did like the Rolls Royce Golf Cart that You showed. Bobby is one mean Grill Chef there, it made me want to crawl into the screen and ask for a Hot Dog! 😁 As usual this was a Wonderful video. How fun! Yesterday, it was way too humid to be outside so we stayed home. Which, was fun too, but what you guys did looks like a lot of fun! What a fun parade! We have a parade here but it was so hot that I just couldn't watch it. My blood pressure meds have a caution for being out in the heat. I love Jim's umbrella! We need one here in Texas! I may have to buy one of those Ninja things. It really looks interesting. I need to get off of my Diet Coke. My daughter has been after me for years to give it up. Definitely a fun day with family on the 4th of July! You have to let us know if you and Jim get that Ninja carbonated Water Machine. Its so much simpler than those old time Soda Makers but you have to really enjoy drinking the product. I'm curious what the temp was in Banning vs Palm Springs yesterday.
I think Benny got up to about 95° and Palm Springs was around 111° when we got home. They are usually about 10° or so cooler.! 😎👍
@@theretiredlifewithsteve Thanks Steve. The high desert near JT was 114° yesterday. As I'm getting older I'm thinking of moving to an area that is cooler and not have to survive the brutally hot summers. I'll have to explore that area. 95-100 ° is doable.

No, we don’t have a golf cart. I wish we had a three car garage so we could get one. I didn’t notice. And he’s didn’t say anything about it. Maybe he was just resting on it and it got red. I will ask him. I hope you had a nice Fourth of July d! 🇺🇸🎇😄👍
