Just heads up if you plan on using that last tip make sure to bring extra clothes. When my son was a baby me my husband and a family friend went to Disney. It was a really chilly morning and my husband and our friend wanted to go on splash mountain (partly because there was no line…wonder why) Since my son was too young for that I stood off with him they got soaked and had to walk around all day (a day that’s already cold) with soaking wet clothes. We look back on it and laugh but it was not funny at the time😂

I’d also recommend not waiting in line for characters sometimes you can find them just walking around and get quick photos. If you want characters get to where they will be a little early but do know it can be a wait if they are late.
My family went for my 17th birthday and waited almost an hour for characters like Anna and Elsa, and tinker bell. My brothers went to see rapunzel and flinn while me and my parents stayed in California adventure the second day and we road everything in radiator springs and got ice cream before they got back granted we had a fast pass for radiator springs racers and I almost lost my shoe getting off the ride.
I’d also recommend if you are getting souvenirs get the when you see them we had to go from tomorrow land clear to the winnie the pooh ride on the other side of Disney land so my brother could get a Cheshire Cat plush. Also just eat at what ever is near where you are because we had to go all the way back to tomorrow land because my other brother wanted pizza planet for dinner.
I learned bring good shoes. I wore sneakers the first day in the park and we were off property so we walked to and from the park. My shoes had little to no arch support and my feet were killing me half way through day one. Then we walked all the way back to the hotel and I had to climb up not only the stairs to get to the room but a ladder to get on the bunk bed in the room.

The last one is so true. I just went to Disney the week before Christmas and it is raining and around 60 degrees that whole week. Every ride in California Adventure was at least 30 minutes but grizzly was only 5 minutes all day long. Just by the way, if anyone was wondering the parks only open 30 minutes early if you stay on property which is a little more expensive but I would say it is worth it if you have the money. They have some great value resorts. Personally I would recommend "Pop Century" especially since the opening of the skyliner, which can be a real lifesaver just by the way. if you are looking for something a little cheaper than Pop, "All-Star Music" or "All-Star Movies" are pretty good choices, I don't however recommend "All-Star Sports." And just another little tip for newer guests don't stress yourself out, you can thank me later!😘

They learn Disney etiquette like how to stand in line and thanking cast members. As a grandparent I have enjoyed taking my granddaughters since they each were 6 months. I would not trade the memories, pictures and videos for anything! Since she was 2 my older granddaughter asks me to take her and gets excited whenever she hears it’s a small world. We live 6 hours away. My only regret is we can’t go more often. She never has cried or been a bother to anyone because we don’t wear her out, she has learned how to wait her turn and stand in line, and she is so well behaved she gets positive reactions from CM’s and other guests alike.

Mothers, I hope you realize that your extremely young babies will never remember a “trip to Disneyland” 😂 …whenever I see or hear that a mother and more than often, a father that is on the trip as well, go to Disneyland or Disney world or whatever tf it is where it’s supposed to be “for the kids” the “trip” is really for the mom. She’s the one that is the only one that actually wants to go. Then, the Dad ends up having to do all the forking out of money on that trip which is thousands of dollars and he ends up having to push the kids or carrying the kids for endless miles in the hot sun when in reality, all he really wants to do is chill tf out and relax….but nooooo! The wife doesn’t want her man to ever have a minute to relax because he needs to be doing something at all times and be paying for it at the same time with the money “HE” earned working 10-12 hours a day doing physical labor. F Disney and F getting married and F having kids. All for what? To end up being miserable and end up getting divorced and having to pay alimony and having your ex take everything you worked for?
No thank you! I’ll continue living my single life happier than a mf getting to do what I want, when I want, and not having to ask permission from a woman that wants to control my life. That’s my rant. Thank you and you’re welcome.
I’ll crack my next beer now without hearing a single complain from a woman that says I drink too much. 😂🍺
