Doc did not know she was a minor Until AFTER he was banned suddenly and sued Twitch for breach of contract. How do we know this? Because when he sued Twitch, they were forced to settle as there was no illegal activity found after a full investigation by law enforcement. (Not to mention whispers is an 18+ only feature.) A new report tweeted out Sunday just confirmed that the initial drama started years ago when a few rogue Twitch employees started reading Docs tweets and then reported him to an agency. Initially Doc didn't know why he was banned, then he found out, then sued. But years after, under NDA, he was not allowed to get into it, only used the nickname "Purple Snakes" to describe Twitch.
The thing no one is pointing out is, has it even really been confirmed that doc knew this person that whispered to him through twitch chat was underage at the time because I don’t know too many people that say their age when they message somebody on Twitch
@@RUD1K4If you have to read between the lines, you can’t prove those lines are even there. Evidence is key. Of course he knew because got banned for it, but you can’t for sure say he knew at the time of messaging. That was his point.. Reading between the lines is nothing but guessing. If I showed you 3 fingers, you’re saying “if you read between the lines he’s flipping me off” in basic terms, but how do you know i didn’t mean the number 3? People need to stop “reading between the lines” because that is this thing called jumping to conclusions. Of course you could be right, but you could very well be equally as wrong. Which is why we need context, we need evidence before we find someone guilty.
What this goof talking about? Doc only talked about it because someone else outed him he was perfectly fine cashing in the last few years and pretending he was banned from twitch for other reasons , he literally did what you just commended him for not doing . Wild
Theres another clip out there where Doc and Shroud are playing together and Shroud literally thanks Doc for hosting him one time with 40k viewers and that being the reasons he's successful and financially sound today. Now, I'm not in ANYWAY defending Doc, but the fact that Shroud literally owes Doc his career (his very own words, not mine) but then doesn't even bother to ask what happened when he was banned or reach out in any capacity honestly kinda seems super shltty. Shroud says he didnt even know why he was banned at the time but decided to just completely ghost him. Again, not defending Doc at all, but that honestly kinda makes Shroud seem kinda like a snake, all things considered.
This explains why he avoided or stopped talking about Doc all these years, he and a few other streamers were completely aware of why he was banned and for what reason.
True I always thought this was the case… cause Shroud literally stopped talking to him. I remember shroud saying Doc would have known why he got banned straight away at the time of his Twitch ban.
You are right some people had inside info and some probably knew and thought it was just a rumor. Or had it out on context. Ninja and Shroud definitely knew
@@TeamAmericaWorldPolice OF course they all do, they all have connection with Twitch staff, they just don't want to make things public, which is understandable considering it's a serious allegation. But now it's all being confirmed, and they are free to talk about it.
The context of what happened is not irrelevant. It's everything . It could change the whole view knowing exactly what was or wasn't said and also if Doc 100% knew she was underage. I mean, that's 1000% relevant... One thing we know for sure is that he did nothing illegal that's something right there. And then also why did it take twitch 3 years to actually address the problem if the messages happened in 2017? There's a lot of unanswered questions that need to be answered.
Turning your conversation sexual with a minor or sending pictures is automatic class 2 felony and mandatory registration on offender list. No criminal conduct found whatsoever immediately tells you we are missing context of what deemed these convos “inappropriate” do not let the internet get inside your head everyone. There is no IQ test to leave comments.
It is irrelevant because on the Internet no one is going to care about the context. Are you aware of how things work in the Net. There is no context and context if any at all is subsequently irrelevant. Shroud is correct in saying that.
Bro if I was in this situation I’d be screaming from the rooftops that I didn’t know she was underage. Doc never said any of this in his response which tells you all you need to know
Literally in polish internet space, like few months ago was big drama about influencers were talking with minors, after few months people doesn't give a shit about it and those people are welcome again everywhere
@@donprezydent Thats the reality. As internet people dont care about context they also have a short attention span. After few months they will forget. So what,he made some jokes about jews and Adolf or hit her with Ligma joke? Or give her advice about sex and stuff?(because word "inappropriate" doesnt mean only sexual stuff). In this day and age even 12yo kids know about sex more then 70yo, stop pretending like its such big shid when nobody can prove a thing without context (messages). BTW sexting between minors and adults exist since first chatrooms were created, someone does it to just for fun, some need to blow up steam after break up , some love to RP stuff and some have ill / illegal intentions.
Yeah that's the way the internet and people in general are. If your a big enough influencer and it only went to a certain extent most will forget about what you did after a few months. Obviously there are examples of influencers who stepped over the line and got completely removed and no matter how much time passes they will still be hated, like EDP. I feel after a few months he will come back to streaming in some way and it will be like nothing happened.
Getting old is only doing one thing your entire life if you never experience different things like going outside and spend it staring in front of an LED screen when you get older, you regret that you never did anything with yourself when you were younger, but hey that’s a thing that these generations will have to learn the hard way. Remember the Internet is replaceable, but your life‘s not.
No, he should have admitted to it when it happened and taken the hit. Concealing it and lying for 4 years makes it nearly unrecoverable. It's like a massive debt with a huge interest rate; pay it off quickly and you might manage. Wait too long and it's impossible to pay. Twitch also looks really bad in this.
I mean, he got 4 more years than he should have. Made tons more money, got his game idea off the ground, so to a narcissist like him, that's a win, even if it's crashing down now
He didn't reveal it so he could milk youtube until tht shit came out. The fact that he knew it was coming for 4 years just for money. Some of these fools become full sociopaths. That's what they are
@@jplostswhat’s worse is twitch kept it quite. How did he win if this was the case. And how did they allow him to move onto another social platform without notifying anyone. People are so crazy. If you get outed then come forward and “come clean” its not the same as just exposing yourself because you feel bad or wtv. Smh they cant deny it anymore so obviously they “admit” it
I mean he could've denied it and it wouldn't have gone anywhere further. Sure some drama would stir up among some groups but he really didn't need to say or do anything as nothing but what a ex employee had to say compelled him to do so. And it would've been his word against a ex employee of a company he was fired from so the optics would've been more in his favor. He came clean to get the drama over with and imo just in case Twitch or someone else actually exposed official documents.
It's odd and even malicious that twitch knew about it and didn't report it. Not only that, but they still paid out his entire contract. There's something else going on here.
They covered up the fact they let a minor use Whisper when it's 18+... and more then likely she was baiting big time streamers because teens these days are Nasty af or after money/payout
Shroud is the realest dude in the industry. Doc fucked up but he didn't rape or kill anyone, and yet this is just the biggest news of the century and everyone is making money on it or saving their skin from the lynch mob. Just let the law handle it and move on if you don't personally know him
I agree to this sober statement but the rest is just assumptions of people. These people here and everywhere go crazy without knowing anything. It's just sickening.
You know what dumb move is when you get drunk and go to casino and waste whole your salary thats dumb move. Sexting a minor is not a dumb move buddy and it is pretty fing weird that you are deeply troubled with his family’s state and not 35 y creep sexting a minor that is pretty flong weird
This just shows how really different Shroud is compared to other streamers or 'Content Creators'. How matured and how he just dont run his mouth just to get views. you dont see this guy making multiple videos on how a drama is now 'Crazier, worst etc etc' just like the others and that actually shows what is the state of streaming and their community right now. Shroud viewers may have declined over the years but his community that is still with him right now are the ones that you could call the Matured and Respectable ones. Salute to all of you!

Wild.. absolutely wild to see so many "friends" drop out of the lobby so quick...based on a vague tweet and no solid evidence of anything. Looks like some possible information has come out that may benefit Doc but the damage is done by all these so-called streamers that couldn't back the dude that put them all on. Damn.
There was a reason to watch Shroud play Pubg because it had such a high skill level to play at the level he did, but to watch anything else is a snoozefest. He actually skips playing great games like Lies of P to play garbage games like Starfield just because it gets him more views. Half credit for playing Elden Ring although it's obvious all the big streamers jumped on the DLC.
I mean his admission wasn't due to him feeling he had to tell the truth, he had the truth with him for the past 7 years while pretending to be some good guy racking millions and millions of new fans while spewing his bs constantly, the only reason he even admitted to it was cause a former twitch employee just outed him on Twitter and various other sources pointed towards it, he was exposed to the community and that's the only reason he made his pathetic 3 x edited statement where he 1 to 1 acts like a predator caught by Chris Hansen not once even showing a slight level of being apologetic towards the victim. The same way twitch stopped him before he meet up with a minor at twitch con is the same way former twitch employee exposed the truth
He says that _at least_ he did the _right thing_ by admitting to it so his friends, subs, sponsors, other streamers, etc... wouldn't be blindly following or supporting him. WTF? He's been allowing that to happen for years...
The fact that he was banned back then for it and didnt said a single word about it till it went out on public is crazy enough. Also that he cheated on the wife with a "24 year old women" at the same twitchcon at the same day he was connecting with the minor is fkn absurd.. I dont believe that it was a 24 year old... But thats just me.. Everyone would say u sleept with him for a million...
@@NeonSolarGuy so from what I gather is that this was the period in his life where he was cheating. The minor he was communicating with, was only through messages and I think he didn't know until it was too late. @@jackiesimplejake yeah plus he was baited by a twitch employee who acted like a 17 year doesn't excuse anything but at least there wasn't a real victim
He did let people support him for 4 years after the ban while gaslighting everyone and making it look like he didn't know why Twitch banned him, so no, he doesn't get praise for admitting it. He lied about it for years.
yeah, but admitting to it was only because he had to...he lied to his community for the last 4 years, selling his merch, saying he was innocent...he shouldn't have come back to streaming
Stfu. People like him want a legend to quit is so crap that they just want their biggest wall to just go away. I'm gonna let you know that what doc did was unknowingly and people are getting misinterpretation of his tweet as he clarifies stuff and admits his mistake but what he unknowingly did, not because he was aware of her age. I know it's still fucked up for his family but he is not a monster and I'll watch him grow and stand up from all this ❤
Twitch settled with doc. Twitched paid doc the rest of his contract. Doc sued twitch. It would be the other way around of he did something wrong. Also he would be a convicted felon. The real question is did he know that she was a minor? Then if he did, did he continue. So until we see the whispers, we'll never know.
Plain and simple, it comes down to this. If this person was playing at the fact she was older than she really was when they were whispering and then reported it to Twitch, then that is entrapment. And if and when Doc found that out, that would be a reason to sue Twitch. Then that is a reason Twitch would settle with Doc and not the other way around. And since the former Twitch employee(s) broke the NDA, Doc had to come out and tell his side. But if Doc did know that she was under 18, burn gim at the stake just like every other person who has done this. Everyone jumping on him and labeling him a pedo is wrong. We dont know the full story yet. And it is understandable that Midnight and Turtle Beach would cut ties with him because they wouldn't want bad PR if he did know or he didn't know. Bad PR is bad PR. But if it comes out that he didn't know she was a minor, then what? This is just another reason why social media is a cesspool of cringe, untruthfulness, and immorality. But let me make this clear. Im not defending him. If he knew, then he's done and dead forever. If he was set up, then what?
I feel you. If seems crazy because doc spoke out against certain folks and backed nickmercs. Painting a crazy target on his back. Just don't mess with kids
Glad I'm seeing more and more people having this take as the initial shock of the news continues to wind down. That's really the only question that needs answering right now. He did say in his tweet that he plans to return, and it'll be the first question on everyone's lips. He's not gonna be able to dodge it. If he did know she was a minor - then its thank you, but fk you... If he didn't - then it's still really scummy on his part, but not something beyond forgiving.
@cdknowledge exactly. Ill tap in for the next stream. I won't be supporting anymore unfortunately. The NDA strangle hold and the explosion of heat on this guy without all of the answers is troubling. If he can make it any clearly it's set in stone that this is something you can't not return from.
If Doc has made personal investments that do not involve sponsorships he will have plenty of money without gaming but if he just only spoke to his daughter and wife and stayed away from everyone else this would have never occured
I think its a dumb situation and he will always remain hated untill the actual conversation is revealed i grew up on doc it was 7 years ago but twitch is shady for waiting so long and using it in the way that did
The thing is everyone’s pointing these fingers. How do we know if he knew he was talking to this underage person? because I’m pretty sure most people when they send a whisper message through Twitch aren’t immediately saying “hi my name is Nicole and I’m 17 years old.” I’m thinking he had some messages with this girl back-and-forth, probably joking around maybe a little bit of flirting and joking and then found out that she was under age and cut it off and then twitch found out about it, canceled his contract…but still had to pay him out because he actually didn’t break any laws or do anything that inappropriate until he knew their age
She wasn’t appealing because she was a kid she was because she was able to have kids and be a mom and they put the only fans 18year old countdown on the scale.
I love Doc and always will. He helped thorough dark times. And his streams and content way better than most streamers. Yeah he fucked up but I truly believe he didn't know the age
Its deffinately not irrelevant XD especially to the little girl and her family!!! Or to any of that whole group or the 5 or six buisness partners that dropped him looooooooooooollllll
Since anybody can just make allegations with out proof My theory:There was a moment in docs life where he was cheating on his wife The young girl probably messaged him(since we dont have proof i dont know)but she probably never told him her age to later down the message road and when he found out he stopped The twitch bans doc he wins the lawsuit cause probably noticed that she never told him her age till later while flirting so when twitch had no choice but to pay up docc And if he did message her while knowing her age while flirting or whatever he wouldve lost that case im sure I had a buddy who didnt know a girl was 16 dming him and she starts by asking if they wanna meet up then when he found her age he immediately stopped and unfollwed her sucks but this does happen
Your second theory instantly goes down the drain. If I was in his shoes, I would 100% say in my statement "and whilst I talked to a minor in that way, I didn't know she was a minor, she lied, and as soon as I found out, I stopped messaging her", BUT he didn't say any of that. He knew she was under age
@@Silverwidows ohh I see what your saying actually didn't think of it like that I just had a buddy go threw that so that why I made my theory cause she wrote my boy she want go out and was flirting from the beginning and when he asked her age a couple days later she was 16 and he cut her off I hope it's not true for doc but we don't really know yet
@@elmzgalaxy3313 Damn that sucks for your buddy, I've seen similar things happen to a couple of friends. The thing no one is pointing out is, has it even really been confirmed that doc knew this person that whispered to him through twitch chat was underage at the time because I don’t know too many people that say their age when they message somebody on Twitch
@@raginguncledan19 Yes he knew...he literally said that when you read between lines.
Yeah, that make sense now all these times when people kept asking when shroud and doc reunion and shroud don't want to jeopardize his career
@@TeamAmericaWorldPolice OF course they all do, they all have connection with Twitch staff, they just don't want to make things public, which is understandable considering it's a serious allegation. But now it's all being confirmed, and they are free to talk about it.
He couldn't play with twitch streamers because he was banned from twitch, and once you are banned you are not permitted to be in any twitch stream
Nah he admitted to having inappropriate conversations with a minor full stop. He might not of done anything illegal but he was grooming a minor
It is irrelevant because on the Internet no one is going to care about the context. Are you aware of how things work in the Net. There is no context and context if any at all is subsequently irrelevant. Shroud is correct in saying that.
Saying a bad word in front of a kid is inappropriate so what is the definition @@Jaxl-vj5my

He said hes coming back to stream once the vacation ends
Getting old is only doing one thing your entire life if you never experience different things like going outside and spend it staring in front of an LED screen when you get older, you regret that you never did anything with yourself when you were younger, but hey that’s a thing that these generations will have to learn the hard way. Remember the Internet is replaceable, but your life‘s not.

This is the only mature response to the situation it's crazy
Also why has there been no law proceedings. The whole thing is weird and twitch is shady for how they handled him and NDAs etc
He could not reveal it due to NDA. With that being said, I agree with your comment completely lol
how old she was??
All of Doc's supposed friends immediately hopped on the band wagon of "I can't support that", Bro If my best friend accidentally killed someone I wouldn't let him rot in Jail I would go see him and pray for his soul. Doc fucked up but he didn't rape or kill anyone, and yet this is just the biggest news of the century and everyone is making money on it or saving their skin from the lynch mob. Just let the law handle it and move on if you don't personally know him
But we know what it was in those messages?

The best response for the situation. He is pissed off about doc carelessly slipping. But he doesnt bash him.

This happened in 2017 and he already apologized for it to the degree that he could for legal reasons over the past 7 years. Nobody is perfect, have done grace and forgiveness.
Also, I thought we all were clear that he got banned on twitch for the IRL stream where there was a minor using the urinal….?!

What does this even mean
People passing judgement when they dont know the full story
I’d say shroud has some dark secrets.
Not having it that none of his mates didn’t know in this 4 years what was going on
There was a reason to watch Shroud play Pubg because it had such a high skill level to play at the level he did, but to watch anything else is a snoozefest. He actually skips playing great games like Lies of P to play garbage games like Starfield just because it gets him more views. Half credit for playing Elden Ring although it's obvious all the big streamers jumped on the DLC.
Mentioning David icke one of the most canceled people is what got him banned.

I know it's still fucked up for his family but he is not a monster and I'll watch him grow and stand up from all this ❤
Imagine thinking age has something to do with being relevant in streaming.
0:34 Wdym, he kept it going since 4 years, bashing Twitch for it, calling everyone purple snakes.
Shroud is so Corny..guy fell off years ago..
My only take is turtle beach is ass and not a loss🤣

Freakin sucks dude. Doc was the only entertaining streamer there is. The rest are boring asf.

he didn't admit to anything, the last thing he tweeted was "im not going anywhere" sooooo ya... not sure what Shroud believes the Doc admitted to.
How do we know if he knew he was talking to this underage person? because I’m pretty sure most people when they send a whisper message through Twitch aren’t immediately saying “hi my name is Nicole and I’m 17 years old.” I’m thinking he had some messages with this girl back-and-forth, probably joking around maybe a little bit of flirting and joking and then found out that she was under age and cut it off and then twitch found out about it, canceled his contract…but still had to pay him out because he actually didn’t break any laws or do anything that inappropriate until he knew their age
at worst, Doc cheated on his wife.. again! I don't think he knew the girl was 17, I don't think he's that stupid
Everyone is acting like hes a pedophile he did nothing wrong otherwise he would have been arrested.
Lol shroud would not be here if it wasn't for doc
She wasn’t appealing because she was a kid she was because she was able to have kids and be a mom and they put the only fans 18year old countdown on the scale.

Admitting to it after you were caught and hid it for years for someone else to tell the public isnt really admitting it.
Since anybody can just make allegations with out proof
My theory:There was a moment in docs life where he was cheating on his wife
The young girl probably messaged him(since we dont have proof i dont know)but she probably never told him her age to later down the message road and when he found out he stopped
The twitch bans doc he wins the lawsuit cause probably noticed that she never told him her age till later while flirting so when twitch had no choice but to pay up docc
And if he did message her while knowing her age while flirting or whatever he wouldve lost that case im sure
I had a buddy who didnt know a girl was 16 dming him and she starts by asking if they wanna meet up then when he found her age he immediately stopped and unfollwed her sucks but this does happen
Your second theory instantly goes down the drain. If I was in his shoes, I would 100% say in my statement "and whilst I talked to a minor in that way, I didn't know she was a minor, she lied, and as soon as I found out, I stopped messaging her", BUT he didn't say any of that.
