रफी साहब के गीतों में जैसा अभिनय होता था उसके साथ न्याय करना पर्दे के चरित्र को जीने वाले कलाकार के लिए भी आसान नहीं होता था चाहे वह ट्रेजडी किंग जैसा कलाकार ही क्यों न हो ।वास्तव में अभिनय पर कलाकार का योगदान एक चौथाई होता था शेष तीन चौथाई अभिनय रफी साहब के गीत में मौजूद होता था किन्तु शम्मी साहब ने अभिनय की दृष्टि से रफी साहब के गीतों के साथ काफी हद तक न्याय किया है ।

What a lip sync, only Dilip and Rafi Sahib could do justice to the composition of greatest ever Naushad. When misic director is Naushad Sahib, singer is Rafi Sahib, actor is yousuf sahi and lyricist is Shakeel Sahib then the creation is bound to be devine. All of them are my most favourites in their respective art.
