Hey Robbie, the green you pick out for the planter is so very pretty. All the details show up. After you put all the plants in it. It took my breath away. It looks like a high dollar one. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. Looking forward to our next visit.

Hey Robbie! I just love how your planter came together. My mind always goes straight to black when choosing a stain or paint color, but you've really inspired me to "go green." Haha!! 💚 Ranunculus are such a beautiful flower. Paired with the Creeping Jenny and Violas, it's a perfect combination. Can't wait for your next video. Love your channel!! Take care.

100% recommend to cram in as many as possible 😂 in winter and spring containers. They look great immediately.

Really nice container, I like the stain, good job. I do this process on furniture that’s painted a light color.

It works really good on white, give painted furniture a look of age like an antique or vintage.
Really it works on anything painted, even dark colors.

OKI hadto pause the video...I am in love with this planter! $25 wow that is steal! I wish I could find someone in Indiana that did something like that, I'll have to look. The imperfections is what makes it perfect and beautiful. I never thought about staining concrete pots, didn't know that I could but I do now so thank you. It's turning out absolutely beautiful.

@@visitourgarden Even though our seasons are flipped because we are in the Southern Hemisphere and going into autumn, we seem to have a similar subtropical climate: hot, humid summers and mild frost free and snow free winters. Our best time for annuals are actually autumn and winter.

Try soaking the concrete in water before staining, makes it easier to wipe down and you can have a bit more flexibility in the shade.

Do tell where this shop is! I’d love to get a bird bath that’s reasonably priced. Just went camping in the Bay Area and there was a small cement urn at a local nursery for $625! Uhhh, no.
The pot looks great. It would look great too with a lot of purple plants.
