Conan genuinely adores Adam. You can see it in his face.
So true
Connie is the best
Yes, but it would have been nice to hear Sandler talk.
Conan just babbling away the entire time.
Conan with every single one of his guests
@@Trag1cMag1ci really enjoyed when Triumph mocked him for that 😂
I ran into Adam Sandler at a concert in LA ages ago. He was just hanging out in the regular section with the rest of us. I said hi to him and told him I enjoy his work. I figured he'd say thanks and then want me to leave him alone, but he was super friendly and asked me questions about myself when I started to walk away. He seemed like a genuinely nice and humble guy.
That wasn’t Adam Sandler
@@zeekot4064Didn't even look like him, it was just some old man.
@@jestice75dont you think this guy has a moral obligation to tell people he's not adam sandler?
@@TomasCerman-zb4yq Do you feel "morally obligated" to tell everyone you meet that you appreciate their work and contribution to the society?
That’s crazy. I have a friend who met him and he was viciously mean to her. Him and his wife…then again my friend is a front desk agent for Four Seasons
Who else smiled immediately when they saw this thumbnail??
Sorry, I did not but clicked on it immediately.
You're sooo right. 😊
Ur mom 😂
Adam is the greatest to ever do it
I did
That cheeky smile Conan does when he gets insulted always gets me.
he loves to dish it out and loves it even more when they can dish it back
Adam and Conan are two guys I’ve grown to appreciate even more over time simply based on the stories others tell about them.
Man, I could listen to Conan and Adam reminiscence about the SNL days forever.
Forever? That’s fine to just say, but careful what you wish for. That would be a cruel cruel hell. The devil is listening.

???
I'm pretty sure that's the quietest I've ever seen Matt and Sonia. Thanks so much for having Adam as a guest.
As professionals, perhaps they knew Adam didn't need the support. When you've got a guest like Adam, better to keep your mouth shut. ❤❤❤
@@user-yn7yo1co3k I thought they were a little bit awestruck
yes I didn't need the laugh track for this one
Yeah they add literally nothing
I think they were fascinated by all those nostalgic stories. So they didn't want to interfere, there was no need to add anything, to be honest.
Early 90s SNL was the best.
Amazing how they all stayed friends. Spade, sandler, schneider, rock, conan, dana... Farley woulda been right there with em
Norm.... the best of all
I'm having a Conan Renaissance now in 2024❤ Jesus Christ i giggle my ass off watching Conan 🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅😅
The best of Conan is really coming out now, he's no longer tied down by the requirements of TV. And the same of everyone else on with him, not just the guests, his own employees too. A lot more real, basically what he's always aimed to do, as much as possible. Good on him squirreling away his paychecks all those years before, using those earnings to set up production he fully owns and controls.
adam always does the same thing any time he talks about the salad days. in this case they talk about chris rock not being CHRIS ROCK, and sandler interjects talking about him getting there after snl. even when conan talked about schneider making his way into downey's ofice, sandler hears that it may make schneider sound weasily, so he makes it a point to mention schneider was a hard worker. i've seen him do this in other interviews. its nice.
Conan indicates that he was jealous of Schneider. Maybe Downey saw something in Schneider he didn't see in Conan -- and as a fan of e.g. Big Stan I think that's okay.
@@JosephScott-ct9sw Conan was always a writer before an actor, He wrote for the simpsons as well. I think if anything it bothered him the actor was in the Headwriter's room pitching ideas.
@@BrostroTheWizard "the actor was" Conan acted in 23 episodes of SNL, starting in 1988. Rob was hired by SNL as a writer, not an actor, in 1988, first acted on SNL in 1990, and wrote for 43 episodes of SNL. He and Conan were both employed by SNL as writers and actors and both had a right to try to talk to Jim, and Jim was a big boy who could talk to who he wanted to talk to.
@@JosephScott-ct9sw Wrong site my dude. You are a Reddit creature.
@@BrostroTheWizard In other words, you don't have rebuttals to my good points.
7:22 that Spade impression 🤣 can totally imagine David saying that 😆💕👍
nothing more flattering then seeing 2 of the BEST comics that EVER lived fkn with each other ! TY !!!
Super fun to get some insight for how writing for SNL was for them.
"I felt like a fighter jet pilot" lmao
I love hearing famous people talk about their beginnings, especially when it's two famous greats.
Awesome interview.
That generation of SNL was the best ever
Yes! Many are saying! This era was the best era and its SAD how much the once mighty SNL has fallen! They have a bunch of no names now. Very sad!
Not true. Kenan has been a mainstay for twenty years and is the face of the show. Thirty years ago most of that cast were also no names.
As Norm Macdonald rightly pointed out, there are way too many hindsight kisser uppers that think this way about Sandler and his crew’s tenure there but the truth is that at the time no one really liked it at all
FINALLY!!! I was waiting for this!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is very satisfying to hear! and insightful
Whether it's Adam Sandler or Jim Downey, I like how Rob Schneider's strategy was always the same - Find someone with actual talent and glom onto them for dear life lmao
they're out there lol
love the insight on the past with these two
That Adam sandler joke on shaq was hilarious moment on Conan show. Love conan from 🇮🇳
Adam, Farley, Schneider, Rock, Spade, etc were the iconic SNL for me. Everyone has their group depending on their age and stuff and I was a bit young so Ferrell's group was more dialed into my age range as an '89 baby but the reruns of Adam's group were always the best.
adore the man.
Hey Connie want some orange soda?!
Coney
Exactly!!!!
It never occurred to me that Conan and Adam crossed paths. I don't even know what cast Conan worked with. I love these behind the scenes stories.
God i wish Conan still was on the Air. His remotes and chemistry with the people he worked with was 2nd to none.
Adam Sandler makes this like a chat with a friend. Man, he's so down to Earth and I love it!
I love it when these two get together
COOOOOONYANNNN
Great episode!
That’s a family friendship for sure 😂 got to love it
I remember seeing Adam on SNL for the first time and going, "That's the dude that does the skits on Remote Control!". It was a show on MTV. Colin Quinn was on that too.
Right here love these 2
It amazes me how you can be so passionate and obsessed with writing
Adam and Conan is a duo I always wanted to see
I say this about so many episodes of this show, but this was the best chat of all time
Pleeeeeaaaaaaaase get more of the episodes in video. Kindest regards, everyone.
ADAM!!!! Love love love this show
Would be cool to hear from Adam
Sandler is such a dope dude. Brought all his friends with him, love that.
Anyone notice the videos are starting to be the unedited version of the podcast
Interesting that the audio version cut out so many sections from this opening conversation...
I love adam and all his movies
"You love milkshakes"
I knew me and Adam were kindred spirits.
That’s what I want from celebrities…simple stuff
Connie and Sandie sitting in a pod or whatever they say
are there full videos of podcasts yet? need andy on more.
We need a Hot One ep for the Sandman ♨️♨️♨️
I mostly hate his movies, but in person he really seems like a very cool and likable guy! 👍👍
The entrance alone... I am LMAO🤣
These guys seem so cool. What a cool experience it would be to be in this room and hear these two dudes swap stores. So cool.
Seeing Adam Sandler just puts a smile on my face immediately…
He’s soooo funny
Meh
@@xploration1437 😭
We love you Adam!
Conan did Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer!!
Love the sand man
Adam Sandler my childhood 90s 00s
The beginning killed me 😂
The discussion later on about their parents meeting celebrities (as well as Sandler’s nervousness with McCartney) is quite funny!
team coco - from before computers - the 'before' times, waiting for the team coco shoes - send me a pair for demanding this joke to be in the show - it is ok that is it a retread concept - it is gold dammit! #team coco 24 #gingerbread man slippers #cogent coco #coco casuals
I remember getting in trouble in junior high for listening to Sandler’s songs on my Walkman and having it confiscated countless times😆👍
It was just announced that Adam Sandler was the highest paid actor in 2023. He made $73 million last year (granted, most of it is because of his production company).
They act like family in the best way.
SNL, what a dream come true.
Conan didn't let Adam get a word in edgewise.
I am waiting for the outro part where Conan told the tale
Adam Sadler 😩
Let Adam talk Conan !!!!!!!!!!!
"my stool is a white gel" might be the most insane thing ive heard all day
ADAM
Where can I see the whole video?
Never underestimate the value of great sleep!!!!
Let your guest get a word in!
damn, Adam barely got a word in.
My dads in his 70s and still gets excited when there's free snacks lol I don't think its youth, its joie de vivre
What I'm getting from this is that when Conan hasn't slept for 40 hours he turns into Clint Eastwood.
👏🏻
It was "entirely unapologetic", not "defiantly proud", but at least we know what Conan's subconscious looks like :)
OH CONEY
In a world of "comedian" podcasters that have no talent whatsoever it's mind blowing to me that this one doesn't get more views. Conan is very funny, but his true talent is just riffing with anyone and adding to the other person's thoughts. It's so refreshing to hear a normal conversation without hacky clowns shouting bs over the top of each other and cackling like sheep.
So Jim Downey was the original “Wanna come with?” guy at SNL!
"those mornings when you'd wake up nuts and your stomach hurt from a whole night of being... n ... no sleep..."
I hope that Sandler doing podcast promotion for his movie includes doing Bad Friends.
Finally Adam
'My stool is a white gel.'
How to see the whole vid
Coney!
Conan, let him speak
all i wanna watch is SNL alumni, doing impressions of each other and Lorne
9:20 This is like the "obscene steno" John Douglas talks about at the early days of the FBI, in "Mindhunter."
instant like
i missed this one. the realest
Upon arrival: "I gotta go.' That's a New England thing.
Sandler just seems burnt out and over it. Hopefully he's doing okay. He seems like he's done with the camera and wants to grow old out of the spotlight. Conan and Sandler put in the hard work and dedication it takes to make it to their level. They've earned all of the successes over their careers. It looks fun, and they make it look easy in front of the camera, but I imagine they've had some intense times.
danny boy from house of pain invented OG to make himself star of that screen
jim croce game
i don't think any of us know what smiles are
maybe just playing dolphins doow
Sequential Hearing Docket Of Screen, Saxe, And Reeds
HOLY SH$t…….Conan u do need a friend. If the words were in a tally Conan’s side would be pitch black. Just talked the entire time like he is retired!
Ha
Love u big red
Ruff ruff woof woof
where is the best place to watch/buy the full podcasts in VIDEO not audio and Not iTunes. Not everyone has Apple bullshit.
You’re the best Sandman! Starts a production company and gets all his friends paid. Who tf does that now? Just a simple goat who lives on the back…..of a piccckup truck!!!
This was great but it would be better if there was more Mac n' Me.
I'll save you about 10 minutes:
Conan: Says something.
Adam: "Yeah, uhu... Yeah,hmm... Yeah, uhu."
I wonder what happened to those handwritten scripts. How cool would it be to have one!
They should make a movie about snl
Yes, I’ve been waiting for the Sandman! He probably didn’t want to drive to the studio because he lives next to Conan and they live so far away.
They should have carpooled.
