What a spectacular semi-hollow this '63 ES-335 is! Perhaps because of the Bigsby, it has a bit more growl in the low end and a bit more chime in the highs, making it an enticing choice for rock players looking for a semi-hollow. It also has a pleasant vocal quality in the upper midrange that helps it cut through a mix (it also seems to pull expressive solos out of your hands!). This serial is also quite touch sensitive, and when you max it out by strumming hard you can get the sort of sparkly punch semi-hollow aficionados dream of (Sparkle Punch would be a great band name, wouldn't it?). Anyhoo, anyone seeking a semi-hollow with a slightly more aggressive vintage-style voice will love this serial!

That was the most amazing 8 minute of guitar noises I've heard in a log time. I've been waiting for the 3 G's, Gibson, The Greg, and Greg.

The only thing wildwood can't supply me with is Greg's talent as both a guitarist and a human

This is my guitar by some minor miracle( Wildwood Guitars made it happen because they are awesome!!) I ordered another Gibson guitar which was cheaper than this guitar. It ended up having a flaw. Wildwood sold me this actual guitar at the cheaper price to make it right because they are AWESOME!!!! Let me tell you that since the guitar got delivered here I just now stop playing long enough to comment and say that this is an UNBELEIVABLE guitar and Wildwood is the BEST!!!! Lance at Wildwood is truly AWESOME!!!!

Best Greg demo yet. Playing highlighted the guitar, while allowing Greg to shine, and the new amp sounds great. I like the new direction.

There's something very pleasant about the sound of a bigsby guitar.

Brian Cullen I added one to my sg standard and it totally improved an already great sounding guitar

I’m considering the same on my 345! Does it have a tonal effect? And are you still able to do bluesy bends?

Best sounding match: Koch+ES 335+Greg. Ever.
No idea if Mr Greg Koch will read this, but this sounds IMHO a bit better than the tellie thing. The ES335 deals so well on the chick-pick and all the rest (overdrive, chords, jazzy progressions, etc). Please let Mr Greg Koch know this, fellas. FELLAS!!

kitano0 You’re right, but by that time (ES335) Clapton was way too much into “heavy colours”, if you know what I mean, he wouldn’t listen anyway 😏

That amp... that amp. It becomes a weapon of mass instruction when wielded by Greg, great googly moogly.

I don't know if this video showcases the guitar or the amp...both are high quality, and the fact that Greg is a fantastic player muddies the waters even further.

I really do wish he would play some of these guitars through more conventional amps. Vox AC-30's. Fender Twins. Something that everybody would play through. Almost anything will sound good through a $2,500 amp.
