Areal 56. What a legendary disc golf course for me. 7 baskets in a pretty small and busy public park with 18 "tee pads" to throw from. This criss cross course is a fun track and will teach pretty much everything you need to learn about angle and speed control. It was awesome to be back after so many years.

I want to see simons dad play eagles dad. Maybe the dad’s against sons would be fun ❤vlogmas
worst shot vs normal? :D
I agree that would be cool
I've spoken to both of them. They've dropped everything and are currently en route to a neutral location. That location seems to be some place in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, but as long vlogmas has content baby we're good. Twat.
Would love to see a doubles match with the dads. Play worst shot. Seeing pros compete in these fun rounds are awesome. I think that's why people enjoy watching Eagle and Simon together. Both such fun players to watch with their lines that most players don't go with and not being as serious as they have to on Tour.
Casey is a great player to watch also I would enjoy watching all three of them playing a round every now and then while out on tour
Even if Simon wasn't the most talented disc golfer in the world, he would still be awesome. I can tell Simons dad is a great guy too. I'm going to get a mystery box for my son for Christmas!
I introduced my son to disc golf in 2016 and he was beating me in no time. He had heart surgery on Oct 4th, and showed incredible courage through the entire thing. He can't wait to play again, and should be ready to play again by spring. We played every weekend for 6 years straight! He's gonna love this present!
One of my favorite slow mo montages IDK why just amazin
“One more to make sure I can put” bangs the band. Me too dad. Me too.
You can feel Simons Nostalgia in this video.
Simon, this is a very special video. Certainly deserving of a shot at the top spot at next years "Gimmies". Being 72 yrs. old, and health presenting problems with me playing these days, I personally relate to the Father / Son story shown here. My son's 46 and I can't get enough of the times we play together. #6922
Simon’s skill comes at least partially from his Dad this video definitely brings the feels
Vibe was immaculate! Have fun in Germany!
The sport of disc golf has always been rooted in a friendly and loving environment. We all began throwing with friends and family because of its leisurely, enjoyable nature.
It is great to see that the original connections with disc golf do not fade as the years pass by.
Thank you Simon for sharing your disc golf roots with us.
Simon,
I’m not even done with the video, I had to stop it to write this. I just want to say, not only are you one of the best in the world at the art of disk golf. You’re video production skills blow me away, true artist. The slow mo is put together so well, the nature appreciation beautiful shots, the natural/raw jokes, the story telling, post production. Coming from a videographer and amateur disc golfer himself, you are a man of many arts ❤. The old guys close to you will love these videos and memories you share. The blogs have always won me over. Keep crushing it and can’t wait to see what art you master next. Okay back to the video
Video idea: you might hate doing this but I’m sure there are lots of people who might want to watch your editing practices/techniques for the videos.
I've seen your Dad ace there two times with a Skygod. It's beautiful to me that you had a fun round with him. Please visit Germany more often ;)
Also he eagled hole 18 with it
Baby Crush was crushing that vegetable mash 10:32 That's a cute little dude right there. Takes me back to when my kids were that young. I could have the worst day at work and come home to their little smiling faces and I'd forget all that work nonsense. Then they get older and learn to talk back...lol
What an incredibly moving and well-shot piece starting at 6:28.
I totally enjoyed seeing you and your dad playing together on the course where you learned to play! I started in 2019 at age 62 and I play regularly with both my son's. 👍
Great video…loved it when Simon’s Dad said young Simon “was different” 😂…and the rest is CZcams history
It's so fun because Simon's dad sounds almost exatcly like Jason, at least on video :D
Its almost touching - the weather, beauty of nature, relatives and friends and a passion for a game. Vibe good :)
Your dad is AWESOME and a player.. good form!! 👍 let's see that father / son tourney! What a life huh?!?!
Oh Snap! I made it as the Shot of the Day! Thanks so much Simon!
I love hearing Simon speak German for some reason
love to slo mos you have been doing in the past videos, great work simon, always a big fan
Cool video Simon...I remember playing this course in 2010 on our way to European Championships in France...a tournament YOU could have won, but you were young and wild and threw fun shots instead of smart shots...good times😉
Multiple generations sharing a round of disc golf on a scenic home German course. Beautiful in several ways.
LOVE seeing you with your old time friends and family! All of them seem like such cool people.
I'm out of TV shows so I rely even more on your videos for my entertainment. Really like when you say what disc you're throwing each hole so that I can go out and buy that disc and see how I can't throw it that way. haha.
Great video Simon on your visit to Germany. Your Dad , friend with the stick shift driving, and of course your passion for the game, in the cool refreshing place where it all began for you . Hopefully, before Christmas, we all would love to see another video with you and your family, especially Emmitt and Natalia. Enjoy your stay in Germany, and will we see your Mom and dad together?. Most Sincerely, Bill M., Uncasville, CT☺
Simon, thank you for sharing this incredible footage of you and yours. Your dad is a really great inspiration to me, as are you and your bro. Again, amazing. Your baby is so cute. Glad he takes after mom. Lol
My favorite part was jumping between the languages. "WARUM?!"
Seeing your dad in the Lizotte jacket was magic.
Love to see your pops out there throwing! Cool video, Simon!
It's nice to go back to the course you learned on!
So cool × 2... awesome to see you & your dad playing as you did as a youth. The second cool is for the weather...😅🥶
These videos while you are at home really are great to see your roots and family. Enjoy your holidays with you family.
Yesssss Sebastian made it on the vlog!

Merry Christmas Simon! Thank you for your efforts on and off the course. You're easily my favorite pro, and you're a great role model. I hope you have a great Christmas, and I hope you get the rest and quality time with family you deserve.
Just ordered a mystery box for my father for christmas. Can't wait to see his face!!! Thx for the code and hope to see more promotions and great opportunities for you and discmania.

Thanks again for your back home family videos. I wish I was in Germany sometimes as I have small roots there. Merry Christmas - Happy New Year.
This whole video was fantastic
That dude with the letter jacket was the star of the show. Reminded me of uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite.
Nice video! keep up the hard work!!
at least 24x 0,33er im Kofferraum nice xD Prost und schöne Weihnachtstage
The slo-mo montage music 🙌
Noch eben den 9er Kurs in Bremervörde spielen ;)
Love the travel content!
Back to the roots 😊👍
Your form looks identical from 12 years ago! Awesome! Thanks!
I'm American and have only driven and owned manual cars since 2001.
3:18 got a good laugh out of me, those ice aces almost made me fall out my chair, and emmett? is too cute. also, your pops has got mad skills. thanks for sharing with us simon!
Your dad is such an icon 👑
loving the hometown content!
Das ist sehr gut
Hi Simon, please thank your dad by my side: looking at his form of throw, I probably have fixed some points I was not understanding at all, I mean weight shift and shoulders' position. Really, I tried today, my shot seem more natural now! Thank you Lizotte senior!
If your ever in the uk you should play our local course at Ashton court in Bristol, quite challenging even for you Simon👍
Legend 🔥
Tell your dad he does a great job on commentary!
Dads got game!!!!!
Your baby is soooo cuuuuuute!
That dude switched hats atleast 4 times haha love it
Simon at his home course >>>>>
awesome
your dad is really good at disc golf ;)
Manual transmissions are still around here. I've only driven a manual for the last 20 years. Just not in the volume they used to be. Now the location is for sure different from what I've seen. Pretty cool!
That outro song always gets stuck in my head. 😄
Where we play in winter there is 2 feet of snow on the ground! Wish our winters were like Bremen.
The first of many “Simon lines” to come.
Jan Bass!!!!
Legend says he’s still learning😁
Cool dad!
Wow getting so big already
Dad’s awesome
Good to see they put the steering wheel on the correct side of the car in Germany
Kul att se er spela i dina hem trakter
You scared the poodle with the band hit hahaha
Way to go Dustin Mouret!
So cool to see where it started. By the way, where do we get a bag like that, lol.
heartwarming and wholesome content. thanks for letting us in. this is one your family will cherish.
Driving stick shift for 35 years. Still have one and I love it - Except in traffic!
Wow Simon def got his putting style from his dad!
you should come to Bremerhaven and play the course in Bürgerpark!
@1:04 I learned stick by the time I was 11 (offroading) and wish more cars had them 🤷♂
Simon when are you coming to PA again? Philly area In particular.
Well your dad is definitely the Canadian side of the family 😂
12:33 me watchin every simon video
wish Canadians could get the mystery boxes :( i was so hyped when i saw your video on them and then was devastated to see that Canadians couldn't buy them!
There was an entire Canadian only release you must have missed! Also, you can still buy them from the Discmania site even if you're in Canada.
It's true....Simon is different. But in a good way....he sees the lines/shots that no one else sees.
Great course away from traffic as it should be.
Simon do a video a you going to your favorite Doner kabob place to show good food ya?!?!?
Besonders deine deutschen Fans freuen sich über deinen Besuch in deiner alten Heimat.. liebe Grüße aus Braunschweig..
