    We ask MISSISSIPPI CHOCTAW SPEAKERS to listen to the interviews that feature people from other communities, and to PLEASE leave comments about ‘dialect differences’ that you hear or words and phrases that you don’t recognize from your own community.
    The collection of these interviews was funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH); transcription and translation supported by MBCI, NEH, and the Administration for Native Americans (ANA); as well as by support from our partners.

    I enjoy the videos y'all put up. Chahta anopah was my first language. My foster mom told me. Her & dad taught me the older Chahta, not the new one they're teaching the younger kids.
