  • The UK Government Minister for Policing, Chris Philp has told the Metropolitan Police to increase stop and searches.
He told them if more people were stopped, searched and knives found, this might deal with knife epidemic on the streets.
Political commentator Charlie Rowley thinks that Chris Phips is "a great guy" and says: “I am in favour of stop and search.”
Jeremy Kyle thinks that Theresa May should "take the rap" for taking police officers powers of stop and search away.
Meanwhile, former Labour adviser Matthew Laza thinks more prisons need to be built and also acknowledge as a country, that those who commit serious crimes should be sent to prison and and kept there.
